If it is an unlocked european LG G6 H870 yes, if it is carrier locked the answer is no.

There is carrier bloatware? If yes, it is carrier locked. If you want to know it if the bootloader is unlockable go to lg website for unlocking the bootloader and try to get the unlock.bin file.

I do not have this phone. I want to buy it. So I'm asking about bootloader unlock.

Did you just post your S/N and IMEI?
According to the screenshot it's provider (Orange) phone. It means you probably can't root it.

There is no way of doing it at the moment, not sure there ever will be.

you can pay your carrier to have your device both simunlocked and bootloader unlocked
Hello to everyone. I use g6 h870 turkish rum. But the bootloader is locked. Lock does not open for turkey. Europen rom up. But it is the same again. I'm waiting for my help

You cannot unlock the bootloader because LG check the IMEI to verify that it's an European one, firmware doesn't matter.

But this model is not supporting for boot loader unlock.
So still will i be able to root my device by flashing superuser using TWRP?

But how ?! Flashing TWRP how ? Locked bootloader need to be unlocked before u do anything with ur phone
Some one said he will unlock bootloader for DS models in next month but only u can w8 for him or sell ur phone and buy a rootable phone

if u want change...u can buy a H870 Eu or US997 model of g6 they are unlocked and u can root them but if u want change i suggest u totaly dont buy LG phone again u can buy a OnePlus phone i think its a better idea

Why won't you unlock bootloader? This days with Magisk, You can pay contactless and use most banking apps and You can relock it in case of warranty.

It's unsupported by LG's key generator.
Sorry, I don't understand. H870 is an European version and it's supported. Are there unsupported versions of H870 as well?

Right, I forgot there is H870 for Claro as well. I'm afraid that there is no method for this moment.

After doing some searching on google I found this link
I can say from experience that dirty santa worked with the US996 US Cellular version I have, once I went back to the orginal rom with LGUP. as mentioned in the link above.
I have succesfully done the dirty santa to change my canadian stock firmware to US996 to allow it to install custom firmwares but i had issues with LineageOS and went back to US996. Now i want to try a more recent of lineageos but without the bootlocker unlocking site i see no way to install TWRP as the system recovery
