Hey guys I recently messed up my old logic board and had to get it replaced, the new one was a G930v and is a Verizon from what I can tell a d after getting the unlock code which it asks for when I put my sim card in then nothing happens and I get no mobile signal even after restart and the "Non verizon sim card" error is still there even after a reboot so I am a bit stuck here and unsure what to do next.
I checked the Imei and it is clean but I noticed the site recognized it as a G930T which was strange to me.

Try to switch network mode to global or automatic, might be still on cdma only
That didn't work out I am wondering if it could be a antenna
Are there any marshmallow firmware on bootloader 4??

If I flash OF1 with Odin I'm going to have to re-root and then unlock the boot loader again right?
Is there anything else I have to worry about?
And is it possible to do this or does changing the CID screw it up?
What is the official download site for Odin?
I've never had a unlocked Samsung before, though I'm familiar
with other phones.
I'm thinking I need a clean slate a root + unlocked bootloader and just need to wait
it out on stock for a official release or goto JasmineROM though I'm still having sim
issues on that.
Actually if I get a Non-Verizon or MVNO based sim card are my data issues likely going to clear up?
And if so can you recommend a provider? can I get something like a T-Mobile prepaid sim while waiting
for a official ROM without sim card issues?

Am I understanding this right that this is likely because of a issue with Verizon CDMA support
in these ROMs not being exactly customized for the SM-N900V (RIL?)?
I recommend a T-Mobile sim you will be clear from rom problems caused by CDMA .on the roms that are not fully working whit verizon

Thanks for getting back to me on this, yeah that solution is good enough for me, I have to get a provider
that is more tethering friendly anyway.
just got this phone last night. installed my straight talk at&t sim card and all i get is h signal i have tried different apn settings still no lte is there something i am missing

If it's the G930V then flash the G930U firmware onto it. Should work.
Was told that was possible

I bought my s8 from amazon which said it was unlocked
tried my sim it doesnt work it said it network lock and need network puk
spoke to someone from my provider they gave my sim puk it didnt work
they said i need to unlock my phone so

i reset cashe then factory reset then used odin again still didnt work
I have read enough here to know i need to change my csc code
but *#272*imei# doesnt work on my phone
can anyone help?

If its sim card locked flashing won't help.

Whats your model number? Go into the phone settings and check in there. The more details you provide the faster you will get an answer. Going through the Odin process you mentioned will not unlock your phone. It lets you change to different carrier firmware but you still need an unlocked device otherwise it will not work.

well i was under the impression it would have helped but it was made painfully obvious that it didnt sigh.

Strangely I cannot find anything on that model # you posted. Are you sure; there is F after GM950? Can you go to Samsung official website > http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/phones/galaxy-s/s/_/n-10+11+hv1rp+zq1xa/ and find your model? Also, can you also share your baseband version as well?
Edit: Looks like you have the Exynos model which goes by different alias (SM-G950G, G950G, SM-G959FD, G950FD)? Is that correct? .
This happened to me earlier today also. I have the G955F since late May and all has been well. I wanted to Flash CarHDRom V.4.1.1 today coming from Renovate. First boot with new rom I get the unlock sim screen. (never seen this after almost 8 years of flashing) Also a standing message in notifications "network locked sim card".
The sim card works fine in my backup phone. Why would it all of a sudden do this and how do I find the unlock code? Phone is otherwise useless now.

yes im sure lol its the international model and yes its an exynos model
I have an "unlocked" SGS7 edge that I bought from a friend and he had it with Sprint. I tried using on AT&T network but it asked me for an MSL code in order to be able to change the APN settings to the AT&T ones. I was able to get the MSL from someone who know more about phones than I do. After this, I am able to use the network and data from AT&T but it still has some features blocked because I can't get past the "Hands Free Activation" from Sprint. These features are the hotspot and voicemail among other.
So my question is if I can completely delete Sprint from my phone by flashing the AT&T firmware for the S7 edge onto my device.
All help is welcome.

Read the back of ur phone if it says 935u then it's an unlocked version.
Use the xda samfirm tool put
Model SM-G935U
Region ATT
It will download the most recent firmware from samsung servers.
Set to auto
Flash the files in that zip with odin.

Nvm ur stuck on sprint model it can't be changed to any other network because the phone model doesn't support flashing to any others.

Hi,
I have a Lenovo vibe k6 note stock rom on Android 7.0.
Calls are working perfectly in Jio 4G (volte).
Recently I switched to Vodafone 4G (no volte).
When I try to place calls, the device is not falling back to 3G. I am unable to switch the network to 3G or 2G manually also. However 2G works when I change my primary data Sim.
I tried swapping the sim slots, toggling enhanced 4G services, restoring the device software, changing sim cards, replacing my sim card, the same problem persists.
I am using this sim with Lumia 640 XL LTE now. This issue is not present with other phones.
Any help would be appreciated.
Just Flash Stock Rom.. Issue will be solved

Try to lock bootloader through adb and chek your country code

Hey Swarnakanti,
I had tried that and was of no use. I tried to reset the modem setting via fastboot, lost IMEI. Finally I had to reburn the IMEI and WiFi address with QFIL and restore the baseband. I've put the method for the same on a different thread, please share the thread with others too, there are a lot of people with the same issue.
