Any idea on how to charge the P7000 faster?

I don't know about you guys, but charging my P7000 is a struggle. Literally, it takes on average 6 hours to charge from 0 to 100% with the stock charger. I tried many different chargers (Samsung 2.0A, Aukey Quick Charger, Asus VivoTab 8 Charger) and they are all amazingly slow (usually even slower than the stock one).
Could anyone figure out how to charge this phone faster? It drives me crazy to take this long to charge!!!
Thank you.
try this
Hi there!
Your problem is not a weird one my friend! I have 2 chargers: the telephone one (which sucks, unfortunately) and a huawei ascend's.
At first my elephone charger worked fine and charged my phone in 3 hours. Same with the huawei.
My telephone charger though sucks because it broke after little use (mine lasted 2 months, my gf's only 1 day and a friend's less than a month and I doubt we are the only ones with that problem).
Please try a few things to determine where you stand here:
1) charge it with another USB cable (successfully tested on another telephone)
2) charge it on a successfully tested plug.
3) if you're using an adapter, try another adapter.
If nothing there changes your battery charging time consider testing your hardware pasting this code on your phone: *#*#33#*#*
Try the charging setting and if it gives you trouble send it back for another device
I can testify the phone charges in 3 hours with the telephone or huawei ascend charger when they all work fine, but the elphone chargers and USB cables are aweful, they brake easily and the USB port on the charger loosens very quickly which doubles or triples your charging time.

Phone becomes slow when charging, slow charging

My samsung s6 edge+ becomes noticeably slow and it irritates me a lot. I've tried numerous cables and adaptors and the only thing that doesn't make it slow is by charging via a powerbank(2.4a and 1a). Can someone please help me troubleshoot this And I noticed that the phone charges very slow because it took 50 minutes to charge 30 percent. I've used original chargers and cables but it still happens

My original charger started to heat up a lot while charging (and stoped fast charging, it only charged normal), went to sammy store and they replaced

My phone is charging very slow suddenly

Hi,
Since yesterday my phone suddenly started to charge very slow. It can take now more than 3 hours and Ampere app is showing 450mA no matter which cable / charger I use. By using the same cable / charger on a different phone there is no problem. Before this incident Ampere was showing around 1000mA, and it took around an hour for full charge.
Unfortunately, 2 things happend prior to this problem:
1. I tried to flash to the latest AICP ROM, and then to Lineage OS and then back to AICP (10 Feb release). In the last year before the upgrade I used AICP (Android 6).
2. My phone was falling down while charging from about 1.5 meters straight on the mini USB connector. As a result the cable connector bent and stopped working properly. But seems like the phone charging continue to work smoothly since then - the only problem its so slow.
Can any of these be related to the problem? Any idea?
Thanks!
if cable is damaged it will cause slow charging or will not charge at all

Fast Charging Not Always Working with OEM Charger and Cables

****** Fast Charging Seems to be working now. But is very inconsistent. ***********
Fast charging was working and now it stopped. I have 2 OEM cables and chargers. Sometimes it works and then it will stop. This has happened on multiple ROMS . So far I have toggled the fast charging switch, rebooted, cleared dalvik cache/cache with no success. Any ideas? Currently running Gold Eagle Code MRA. I would put this in the thread for that rom but this has happened on multiple roms where fast charging stops working. Its not even charging normally very fast. Calculates 4 hours and 20 minutes until full from 30% charge.. Please note that Wireless charging seems to be OK (I think) It calculates about 2 hours charge time from 30% charge

Could be that the charging port contacts are dirty, you can Use alcohol to clean them. If after that you still have issues then it's probably the port itself.
I had this issue as well and both times it was the cable. I bought an after market one from Ebay and it's never missed a beat.
If the USB connector isn't fully inserted into the charger and the data pins don't make contact, it won't negotiate fast charging.
It's a common issue regarding the charging flex cable. I've had mine replaced under warranty for same problem.

Charging slowly after update on Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1

So my sister just bought this phone recently (The 3/32 Model) and she Immedietly got an update and so she updates the phone, she then plays it for a while and then charges the phone, but weirdly enough it's always saying "charging slowly" in the lockscreen, doesn't the stock charger suppose to charge the phone rapidly? I really don't get this. The phone was charging really slow and the weirder thing is I used my Lenovo P2's charger which has the same configurations as the stock charger (I think) and it did charge faster than the stock one. I've done things such as closing the recent apps, putting it on airplane mode, turning it off, but it still charges slowly
Is it the stock charger that doesn't charge the phone rapidly?
Or is it because the update?
I really don't understand
Any help would be appreciated
It is the update problem, I am also facing the slow charging issue.
Lenovo p2 is 24 watt charger , Zenfone is 10 watt charger .... It take 3 hours for my phone to charge with stock charger
SOLVED
I tried to close the recent apps and turn on the airplane mode and it's now charging rapidly after about a minute, thank god.
I think I had this problem before because of where I plug in my charger to a wrong socket.
Im still having the charging slowly problem.
Change the charging/data cable. I had the same problem.. I tried optimizing apps, aeroplane mode and switched off phone while charging phone but nothing worked. It took around 6 hrs to fully charge my asus Max pro m1. And then one of my friend suggested me to change the charging cable. I bought a new cable n it solved my phone's charging problem. Now my phone charges rapidly even when I'm playing game while using LTE mode. so guys try different charging cable with the original charger.
And if u want better battery backup.. do not charge your phone 100%. If you fully charge your phone.. battery will drain faster.
