Hi i want to buy knew mobile but im here little bit confuse on samsung s8 vs google pixel which one should i purchase
here s8 samsung mobile price in indiais 57,900 in indian ruppees and google pixel mobile price in india is 57,000 in indian currency .
problem is that i have crush on both one but i want to purchase one which one is goog any idea guys
thanks in advance
have both pixel and s8. they are diff mobiles
if you want fastest software and best assistant then go for pixel which wont cost you 57k. it will cost you 40k for 32gb variant, after lots of cashback's on flipkart. you will not have resale value for pixel cause most of the people dont know whats google pixel. i tried to sell a brand new pixel for 30k but no one wants it
if you want a beautiful mobile but with software lag when compared to pixel then go for s8. trust me its a beauty. after some tweaks the software speed is ok. you will have better resale value than pixel
Hi guys,
I am coming from the LG V30+ which didn't really rock me, changed it for a Huawei Mate Pro 10, which isn't really my choice to be honest because of EMUI and the nailed up system.
Now I am thinking of the above-mentioned phones:
Nokia 6
Nokia 6 2018
HTC U11 Life
Xiaomi Mi A1
I'd just like to have a good phone, no need for high end range any more, with a good visible notification light and/or active screen, some big internal and/or SD slot, which gets updates regularly. I do not want to buy some iOS device for some regular system upgrades, I just love my Android freedom, tbh. It should also work flawless with my Pebble Steel and Mi Band 2 or other smart devices.
THank you for your help, I am sick of burning money for the wrong phones

Wait for april, nokia 7 plus is going to be launch, its the best phone that matches your demand
Xiaomi Mi A1 has no NFC, also it does not support some LTE bands in US/Europe. So it depends where you live and whether you use Google Pay. Re Nokia 6 (2018) don't buy Chinese version unless you live in China.

You'd be lucky to get $300 for your OP5. If you upgrade to the 5T you would pretty much be paying another $300 for the edge to edge screen since the hardware specs are the same and the new camera configuration reportedly doesn't improve the picture quality much. If the upgraded display (which One Plus could have installed on the OP5 in the first place) is worth $300 then go for it. Personally the OP5 is my first and last One Plus phone.
Oppo manufactures One Plus phones. Oppo used the display from the 5T on a phone model when the OP5 was released so they already had the displays. One Plus intentionally recycled OP3 displays for the OP5 because they wanted an excuse for the 5T to exist. That's not the kind of company I want to be giving my money to.
Sorry if this one has been asked and answered before but I have a friend who wants to trade my note 9 which is the 512 GB variant for a oneplus 6t plus cash it's the 8GB ram and 128 GB of storage. I've always been a fan of oneplus but never actually owned one so I was wondering if anyone else have made that switch and if so what's your impressions. The reason I've never owned one been that they didn't have Verizon support but with the 6t they do. So any advice will be very appreciated
I would trade if you know you can trade for the 7 or if you want better camera

Get the 6T plus the cash and cash out for a 7pro, check the site(oneplus or carrier)if there's still a trade in rebate program(or sell it for the right price) on the 6t's you might be able to be qualified and can send it for a rebate towards the 7 and then use the cash to cover the remaining balance

One plus is doing good things ; and I live galaxy's but for me its the battery(loverall life) and display(opgestures), camera, dual sim fast charge ect. and the fact that these phones are still relatively new so lots of people assume I have an iPhone when asking for chargers or just showing some one something and they're baffled. what really took me over all. Moto "CHOP" was an idea I loved from moto, so in the 6t you can use the slider and dedicate it to a flashlight/ etc. just many great tweaks on custom an stock OS that I can't find on any other major vendor flagship devices. The community is greatly developing in the 6/6t/7/7pro etc.
Also
You will love the 7. Times a thousandX

The note 9 you have has the same amount of ram minus the amount of extra movie/porn/4Knonsense (350GB) extra space the 6t doesnt. Still 128gb is very sutible for a work or school dedicated daily phone.
They both have snapdragon 845s but the 7pro has the 855(BETTER). And the 8gb ram is the mcleren version for 6t and the note 9 has same but the 6t has to be mclearen, it can be tricked by unlocking and flashing the op1/2 imgs and changing build prop to display 8gb as ram instead of 6 but its probably unlikely that the seller/trader would be trying to do that bs to you, just a thought that I would do if I needed to tax on the device.

The only thing I dislike about the one plus over Samsung is the SAR values are alwayse outrageously differentiated between the company's and that Samsung uses better equipment with their software on the motherboard suck as resistors and such because the difference in radiation emotion rate from your phone usage is quite weird as its the same prosessors and chipsets, just a lot more feedback in thoes values
Get at least the 7T or 7 Pro, you won't regret it. I would just sell your Note 9 on Swappa, you'll get more money for it.

Okay thank you all I will check the 7 pro or wait for the 7T
Best value for money imho is the OnePlus 7 non pro. Approx 440$ on eBay with 8gb 256gb storage. The 7T is $600, I don't believe the 7T $150 better than the regular 7.

Hi, I have been using the oneplus 5 for almost 3 years now and I want to upgrade.
In My budget I have two options Oneplus 8 - 6gb - 128 G Version or Oneplus 7 Pro - 8 Gb - 256 Gb Version
In India both models are having almost the same price (1k difference with OP7pro higher price than OP8)
I am really confused which one to buy.
I understand that OP8 may be future proof with latest processor and 5G but having only 6Gb RAM and ugly Green color option concerns me.
At the same time worried that OP7 Pro may be old enough not to get official ROM updates after 1 year.
Please help me choose.
