I need your help! I don't know why but recently the system UI app is draining a lot of battery . I tried force stopping it , rebooting into safe mode just to be sure that any other app is not causing it , wiping cache partition via recovery mode
If anyone can tell me what's going on with my tab please do tell.
After a few more hours of use the system ui gets to 13-15 percent in the ' use since last full charge '

Im wondering why android system is on top or most of the time in par with screen statistics on battery stats. Previously it would settle down at 11% or less but now its up or more than 20%. Wondering what causes this behavior . Even after a fresh format and few minutes of usage Currently running stock 4.4.2 KitKat not rooted. I noticed that this happend after i tried to root my device. Not sure if its a coincidence. Anyone got same issue? its just my battery isnt as good as before

Did you try to reboot the device? Sometime this simple trick may help.
Or you may need to update the firmware.
What is your firmware version? Is it the latest one? Check for the latest firmware for your device in Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app > Menu > 'Firmware Browser'.
It's bugged.
It'll list Android System as highest usage even after 4 hours of heavy gaming, with the game at 3-8%. In every battery monitor.
Ya e reboot might have fixed it for awhile and wiping cache.
Hello.. I'm sorry for my bad English grammar, if you don't understand, please ask me.
I don't think I understand my phone well so I'll just tell you what happened then.
My note 4 is 1 year old. I think it is Thailand's model as I checked the model number when I'm rooting it.The battery life is long lasting when the first time I got it, I'm not sure when the battery life start to get worse. I'm pretty sure it is happening after Lolipop update, not sure if happens before that. I do not install much games, I do have like 5 or below games from playstore, small sized one. I do installed Clean Master to clear junks when I started feel lagging.
Until recently, because I needed root access to backup my game app data so I went root my note 4 using the odin method. I'm still in my stock firmware. I did faced a problem when Security & Policy update pop out , I did update and it went bootloop(I think it's called that) until I can't access into my phone, I did pull out battery then insert back few times and seems like it rolled back. These few days I was researching how to extend my battery life, I read lots of post said some apps is draining apps as it still not yet adapt to lolipop update? also saying Clock apps draining apps, not even wakelock detector able to detect it. I tried SetCPU and set my CPU below 800 Mhz and even 400min 500max(Just a question, why I didn't see On Demand ? Only Interactive, Performance & userspace) , I did not see any obvious results after doing all these things. Oh , I even went uninstall some bloatwares, I did download Greenify and hibernate some apps.
Now, I'm trying this method to see if it solves the problem. http://forum.xda-developers.com/andr...-life-t3095884
When I was about to Nandroid Backup my datas, to confirm it is it
1. Boot into recovery mode
2. Backup?
But then I couldn't boot into Recovery Mode( Volume Up + Home + Power ) just now, It stucks at boot screen, before the animated samsung appears, just Note 4 with model names something. There's no blue text above, and it just stucked there. The only way to exit from there is pull out battery and insert back again. I'm planning to download QuickBoot and try if can access to Recovery Mode.
Seriously, I don't know much about mobile technology, I just wanted a smooth phone with great battery life. I suggest to stay with the stock firmware, I'm still considering flash it to CM12.1 , people said it help with the performance and battery life, I do not like the interface of it, unless it solves all problems if not I'll not choose to flash into that. (Oh, can I use Odin3 to flash this? Can I use Odin3 to flash every rom? I don't really understand about rooting, is there any newbie guide for these kind of things?)
My questions are:
Can you suggest me few ways to solve this problem?
Is the method does help to my phone?
Why I can't boot into Recovery Mode?
What happened actually?
Edit: Or even factory reset or wipe partition(if I'm able to boot into recovery mode) helps? i did not try it yet.
Thank you for reading this even you can't help me.
Hi
I have upgraded my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to lollipop 5 (N9005XXUGBOH8).
I did a wipe cache partition and wipe data/factory reset.
I have no issues with the new Software, the only issue is that the battery % go down very quickly.
Is there a fix or steps to fix the issue?
TX u in advance.
I'm facing the same problem. After Having a full charge, battery dropped 3% upon booting phone. Currently using aryamod7. 2 and lean kernel.
Check if your apps are using too much Mobile Radio, it's rather common in Lollipop and so far there is no solution. Other than that, download BetterBatteryStats and check if there is any app causing your phone to remain awake thru wakelocks.
For no reason my phone just restarted. It used to restart from time to time and all was fine but this time its in bootloop. I currently don't have any recovery installed on it but I can enter in download mode. Is there any way to fix it without losing any data? I have some pretty valuable stuff that I can't really afford to lose
Its the LTE version and its running stock kitkat
I had different roms before but in the end I came back to this as everything else had bugs and wasn't stable
Also lately my battery life went to ****. From an average of 5hours SOT I can barely have a bit over 2 hours, sometimes not even 2. And I changed the battery with a new one and still no change. For some reason bellow screen I have android system as 2nd main consumer but I have no idea what could be using it. Could it be hardware??
Suggest flash custom recovery via Odin if you have no backup .
You may then be able to recover data .
Hello all, I believe i finally killed my N10.
For days I tried unlocking and flashing a new Rom onto my Nexus 10. I believe I managed the unlocking and rooting, but then it went down the drain.
I did a full wipe, everyting including the system. Now the batterystats.bin is gone (no system -> won't write a new file???) and when I try to charge my tablet, it always shows a full battery on the offscreen and when I boot into TWRP (the tablet only lasts 2-3mins) it doesn't show the battery % in the top right corner.
So the tablet thinks it's fully charged, but it only lasts for a few minutes once turned on. I am using a 5V/2.4A charger (the stronges I have).
Can someone send please me the batterystats.bin so I can move it to my tablet? If that even works.
Or any other help would also be appreciated.

I also tried the repartitioning of the Nexus 10. I believe that failed because now I cant mount /system anymore. Maybe that is the reason the batterystats.bin wont get written???
I also cant mount system anymore. Now idea why. It just shows 0mb. I tried changing the format etc. I just hate all this at this point
I have the same problems. My M10 did a reboot during repartitioning and now I can't even load the battery. Did you find any solution ?
Have you managed to solve this problem?
