Hi
I have upgraded my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to lollipop 5 (N9005XXUGBOH8).
I did a wipe cache partition and wipe data/factory reset.
I have no issues with the new Software, the only issue is that the battery % go down very quickly.
Is there a fix or steps to fix the issue?
TX u in advance.
I'm facing the same problem. After Having a full charge, battery dropped 3% upon booting phone. Currently using aryamod7. 2 and lean kernel.
Check if your apps are using too much Mobile Radio, it's rather common in Lollipop and so far there is no solution. Other than that, download BetterBatteryStats and check if there is any app causing your phone to remain awake thru wakelocks.

I had received a small OTA update (about 26 MB) on my i9500 one day which upgraded it from MJ5 to MJ9, but I was facing severe battery issues since then. Like, it would take over 3 hours to charge completely and battery would completely drain in 7 hours even when device is idle and power saving mode is enabled, often it was discharging even when plugged. Then things got more serious, like it wouldn't even charge at all, battery was stuck at 1% for several hours. I somehow managed to get it to 27% and then decided to downgrade back to MJ5, using the firmware from SamMobile. I flashed it with Odin but then things went wrong, the process failed, and my device won't boot at all. All it says is,"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again". I tried again to flash it, but same results.
There was essential data in my device, which wasn't backed up. I want to recover my device without losing any data. That's the major priority. And a minor one is to try to resolve the battery issues.
I need the help urgently, anything anyone could tell me would be highly appreciated.
Ok this is what happned !
2 days back I received the OTA kitkat update for my galaxy s4 enoxys version. I downloaded the update but during installation of the update an error popped up and installation failed. My phone restarted and I redownloaded d update. The update process was successful the second tym. But now I am experiencing a crazy battery drain. I read somewhere about the google services draining battery for 4.2.2. So I turned d services off and I am still experiencing battery drain. I havent done a factory reset on my phone. Should I do that ? Or the problem is sumthin else? Need help

go to sammobile.com look up your firmware and reflash it
roms
try calibrating the battery as you can calibrate any Li-Ion battery by draining it completely and then charging it to 100%.
if didn't work i think factory reset is your first option Or go to android development and find a rom that suits you
Hi
I am using this rom over the last few days and really like it. Users are reporting great battery life but I am seeing the opposite. My batty has dropped to 38% in about 2 hours from a full charge.
Can anyone suggest what could be the cause?
Thanks
Did you do a clean flash? When not do a full wipe and then flash it. And on the second thought i could be your kernel settings... Maybe you overlocked your device or the false cpu govenour?
It is hard to say what may be causing the drain. Only thing I can suggest is to do a full wipe (factory reset, wipe cache, wipe davlik and wipe system) and don't put anything on it (don't restore any apps or from TB) and see how it runs. If you don't experience any battery drain start off by installing your apps back on.
Unfortunately, it will be a slow process till you find the issue.
Or maybe it could be an app... I use Wakelock Detector for this (Can't provide link, sorry).
Thanks for the replies.
I did a full wipe before installing this ROM. I also tried factory resetting and installing the rom again. I haven't tweaked any kernel settings but left everything default.
Im wondering why android system is on top or most of the time in par with screen statistics on battery stats. Previously it would settle down at 11% or less but now its up or more than 20%. Wondering what causes this behavior . Even after a fresh format and few minutes of usage Currently running stock 4.4.2 KitKat not rooted. I noticed that this happend after i tried to root my device. Not sure if its a coincidence. Anyone got same issue? its just my battery isnt as good as before

Did you try to reboot the device? Sometime this simple trick may help.
Or you may need to update the firmware.
What is your firmware version? Is it the latest one? Check for the latest firmware for your device in Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app > Menu > 'Firmware Browser'.
It's bugged.
It'll list Android System as highest usage even after 4 hours of heavy gaming, with the game at 3-8%. In every battery monitor.
Ya e reboot might have fixed it for awhile and wiping cache.
I updated OTA my Note 4 n910f to the latest built. It was something about Samsung Cloud. Since then i haven't been able to use my phone for even a minute. It keeps rebooting every 1 minute. When plugged in it reboots but for like every 3 minutes. And it doesn't charge, my battery was 66% when i plugged it on AC, and it keeps going down like 64% plugged it. I don't know if any of you had this issue before or are having now but i cant use my phone for 2 days now. I tried to clear cache data via recovery, also wiped storage, factory reset, wiped everything but no luck. Where is my problem, is my battery dead or software issue. I didn't have this before the last update. Help !

Flash stock firmware via odin and do a factory reset after flashing firmware.hopefully it should fix the problem. Go to (www.sammobiles.com/firmwares) choose your model number and download latest firmware.
Already did that, no luck. !

Try flashing lollipop .
If the problem still persists after lollipop, then go to a service centre .
If they repair it ,well-n-good but if they don't then try rooting your device and then change the kernel.
