Hi
I recently bought BYD New F3 car and it has a built in Android head unit with a buggy user interface. I installed cpu-z. I find that it is Freescale MX91 with cortex a9 cpu. It has Android 4.2 Jellybean.
I've some issues with the head unit. It's default media player plays musics well and the audio comes from all my 6 car speakers. But it has a buggy interface and I want to use other players instead of default player.
I installed some players like jet audio, power amp, VLC, Google play music but there is one big problem. When I use these players for playing musics the audio comes from just one speaker that is the driver speaker. This is off and I can't find any solution for this.
I want to update Android version but don't know how. Help me solve this problem
Anyone there?!!

I have a pioneer headunit in my car (DEH-700BT)
It has hands free and bluetooth music streaming
this all works great, but only using the Touch flow music player
core player just comes out of speaker on phone
how do i get coreplayer (or similar) to use A2DP
?
I'm really waiting for un answer too... Many thanks !
Pocket Player can play over Bluetooth Stereo headset so assume the same for car kit.

Hi guys
Unlike some of our friends here, I've had no problems getting music to play through my bluetooth car stereo. However, I'm wondering whether or not it's possible to get A2DP controls (play/pause etc) to work from my stereo with sense music player. Windows media player works fine so I'm assuming its not a config/connection problem. I'd prefer to use the sense music player because (apart from ease of access via tab) i think it's far better than WMP.
Any thoughts?
BTW I'm using a Tevion brand bluetooth car stereo. Bought from Aldi (£50 - a bargain) though I'm not sure what model because the wife currently has the car.
Cheers
I have installed the Corehan Android 8 COCS-JD-AN-03 Head Unit.
When I use the AM/FM Radio, the sound comes out stereo, from all speakers, same when I play something via Bluetooth.
But, when I play anything from an app (Spotify, Audible, Youtube, even the voice from GoogleMaps) it only plays on the right speakers.
I assume this is an Android issue, as the hardware parts do play on all 4 speakers.
The unit has an EQ that includes fade and balance: When playing BT/Radio it works, when playing any app it fades when set to left.
Any idea why this is? How to fix? Is there a balance adjustment that is for the apps but not for the BT/Radio?
Thanks.
Hello,
is it possible to add some kind of audio player with lots of audio codecs to a chinese car stereo 9601? I thought it runs wince. I ask this cause some music sounds far less good then others, so the used codecs by the stereo aren't that good i think.
grtz
Hi all,
I recently upgraded my headunit to Android 10, vs my old one which was on 4.4.4.
Hoping someone can shed some light on the situation i've got. The headunit works perfectly apart from the issue of when I'm playing audio on it weather that be a local file, apple car play etc.. when I switch back to the OEM CIC iDrive the audio stops. The source selection on the iDrive remains where AUX is selected, it's just the music pauses. If I'm on apple car play I then have to click play again. This never happened on my old unit, it would play the audio regardless of if it was on the original BMW screen or on the android unit, it wouldn't get inturrupted.
I've made a video showcasing the issue, and I've showed what cables I've plugged into where. I've also showed my settings as well. I'm almost certain it's a software issue rather than hardware as I can physically hear the music.
EDIT: I don't have enough posts to post the link...
