Why did you post this twice?
Same answer.
If you look in the first page under the guides forum you'll see that the only variants that you can unlock the bootloader and root are the EU H870 and the USA US997. So no you can't root the sprint variant.

The korean model has an unlocked bootloader and already has root. The US carriers will likely have locked bootloaders and won't work. No idea yet though...

Is the Unlocked 935U model a better buy?

I know some of you guys just flash the "U" firmware, but I want to just buy the phone unlocked. For the ones that just bought the unlocked phone, instead of flashing the "U" firmware, did you notice any problems using the phone on the VZ network? Do updates actually roll out faster?
No problems at all. I had the U model when it first was released and kept alternating between vzw, tmo and U firmware. Everything worked per the appropriate firmware. Moreover,b it's cheaper on BH photo since they don't charge tax as well

The answer is NO. The Verizon version is CDMA only.
Nope, I flashed the unlocked version on the verizon model and after a week it started running like ****. Just spend an extra 100$ and buy the unlocked model on swappa and call it a day.

The At& t model doesn't have the OEM Unlocking option in Developer Options.....Which means, our Bootloader is not unlockable (and may never be).

No, the USA & Canada Snapdragon bootloader can not be unlocked. Some international Snapdragon variants can be bootloader unlocked.
Does anyone happen to know which specific Latin American countries have the Snapdragon with the unlockable bootloader?
