Yes I have researched every thread regarding my phone ( I an unable to find a definitive answer ).
My Nexus 4 was running the android 5 port with TWRP recovery, I got a little fed up with
the constant 4.4.2 update downloading and asking to be installed and decided to try
Liquid Smooth rom .. Big mistake. ( Battery was at 77% at the time )
Entered recovery - wiped data etc. ( As usual ) installed the rom and then rebooted.
I was greeted with a black screen.
I have spent a week trying overnight charges / Vol down and power button / power button / 15sec - 60 sec .. plug in usb hold buttons down ( Tried 4 chargers )
etc etc etc ...
Even tried the jump start battery trick ( Noticed the battery wasn't even getting warm ) .
If I do the button thing then plug in the charger the LED ( Red flashes for about one minute after letting go of said buttons, then turns off ).
I have ordered another battery but doubt this going to resolve my issue .. Can someone confirm this ?
Regards
And thanks in advance.

1St solution:
hold both volume buttons and power button for 30sec
then plug into wall charger and leave there for about and hours or three.
(the screen can be off, but its charging)
2Ndif 1st dosent work)
1. Unplug phone charger
2. Press and hold the volume UP button plus power button for 60 seconds.
3. Release buttons.
4. Plug into charger
5. Wait about an hour for it to charge.
Hope it Works buddy
Done all that !

If you can't get into fastboot mode you'll have to try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2347060
Sorry, Didn't work ...Just have a flashing red LED ..
i faced this stupid issue at my Nexus 4
so what i did is
1.left it charge for 2 hrs
2.Download the roms from https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images -> just seek for the "occam"
3.hit the fastboot mode to re-flash whole the roms
4.switch on and see
I am using hyperion 9 rom with hells fusion kernel...... everything was working fine ..... suddenly my phone kept on getting random reboots in every 10 seconds and got stable after nearly 20 random reboots..... again everything kept working fine.... but after 3 days random reboots started but this time my phone doesnt boot up.... as I insert the battery without any command phone shows the boot logo for 2 sec and then turn off ..... no button , no combination works after it..... as i remove and insert battery again , it same thing happens..
So is this hard brick??? or just another problem??
No a hard brick is when you either just have a white screen and you cant get into download mode and you have no galaxy y logo - since you can see the galaxy y logo it would be unlikely thats its hard bricked and can be recovered some way even if its with a jtag or by hardware repair
sounds to me like you just have a hardware fault
could be
flat battery - battery is dead hence when you remove it and put it back in you get some life for a few secs
usb port/charger - faulty so not charging battery
power button - faulty so not turning phone on or is held in so keeps the phone restarting
mother board - faulty so not booting
if you cant get into download mode to flash stock rom but you can see the galaxy y logo its most likely a hardware fault so take it to be repaired

if you cant pop the power button back out so it functions normally or the power button has just gone you will have to get the power button replaced

Hi . Have a weird problem with Note 3 . Cant turn phone on once it's shut down or battery taken out . No matter what you try hard reset , plug charger while battery out then insert battery nothing really works except leaving battery out for a LONG TIME . By long time I mean more than half an hour . After that I put battery in phone starts normal . Worth mentioning that I did inspect inside everything around power button flex cable and pins on mboard and everything seems normal . I'm starting to think that there's problem with hardware or board itself .
Anyone with similar problem . I know there's always "don't switch phone off" fix but you sometimes battery runs out and shuts phone off . Phone is around 2 years old .
Thanks for any help .
hello im doughlas ..
the story :
i remove the SD card directly without going through the settings, then immediately turns blue and can not be turned off and getting hot from the back cover , and I wait for the phone turns itself off and I tried to charge its battery back.... im not getting anything , no blink LED charging , no detect on USB mode , or anything..
im tryin ask to several technician in my town , some say the Internal , LCD , and batteries.
but im not sure with all guesses so im open up my LCD by my self and tryin to change my LCD with the new one , but still i have nothing ..
is anyone having the same problem with mine ??
do you recognize what is the real problem is ??:crying::crying::crying:
regards
Doughlas
Samsung recommend holding down the LOWER volume and power keys simultaneously for 7 seconds and it worked for me on my A5. No more BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death.)
Make sure the phone is charged.
How does A series have LED charging indicator?
Hello
I heard of bootloops from G4 , G5 ang V20 , but not from G6!!
i have done nothing special, not rooted the G6 or anything like this , just put my backup from my note 4 on to it, that's all,
was working fine for more then a day , it was on a charger when this happend ,
now it only goes in to loop when it is on a charger or green screen when it is not on a charger,
when i push on the down volume it goes off and back in the green screen,
what can i do to get it working again???
edit
Now it is gone completely dead ,
it became quit warm and now the battery is drained it is not charging anymore ,
can't get any light out of it, no screens or nothing
so i suspect it is a hardware fault??
You could try hard reset. Turn the phone off then turn it on by holding power button+volume down at the same time until you see the menu.
Factory reset.
That does sound like a hardware fault. If your phone was charging and the temperature sensor failed, it might have exceeded safe temps and cause the same bootloop issues as before (the heat from the processor was causing solder to come loose).
Either way, that's most definitely covered by warranty, you should try to get it exchanged.
