[Q] Problem With my Phone WiFi

Hello
i'v bought galaxy s4 19505 from ebay.uk
it's uk version and i live in egypt
sticker at the box says
european sim model
i had changed th android version and it worked in my country
but the wi fi not work
note :
( wifi icon give green light but not like it should to be )

This seems to be a major issue because i have the exact same problem and cant find a solution yet.

I have the same problem with bluetooth on my gs4 (gt-i9505)! :crying:

re flash FW with Odin 2 times, then in ricavery wipe data and wipe cache and restart

Have a look at this thread, read the disclaimers/warnings/instructions very carefully from post #1 and #2 and get the right WiFi_FIX for your phone from post #2.

Thanks for your answer! My device is already rooted and i've already installed CWM. Do you think WiFi fix could also work for buetooth?

[Q] note 4 N910C MODEM PROBLEM ( NETWORK SPEED SLOW ON 3G)

Hello guys 1st thread on this forum,
I am a senior member in gsm forum, but posting here because here are experts of android.
My problem is i bought an note 4 N910C with a firmware Russia Unbranded ANK5 , 4.4.4 kit kat
Phone problem was when you talk on 2G network sometimes 10 seconds you can not Hear the other person !
I solved the Problem doing: Switiching only do 3g network, WCDMA network, works fine!
But I'm having another problem here in my country ( Kosovo) does not have LTE here..
SO THE 3g speed is trurly slow, but this note 4 is getting more low..
Exampleownload speed by Oakla speedtest is :: 7KB/S( 0.01mb/s)DOWNLOAD,and 130KB/S(0.1MB/S) Upload
what i Did:, i Flashed the Sweet ROM ,that i found here in this forum, same thing, even i the modems that are listed there
i flashed all one by one,, they are all worse they give me speed 7KB/S dowload and upload, just one of them give me higher upload 120kb/s which name is ANK6
I'm Really Curios what this phone problem is ! and i am the only one here which i have this problem,
ps: I am a pro at service of phones hardware/software/decoding

My self noob face similar problem & visited a pro like u in a service center, he changed my sim & adjusted APN settings, since than voila, I am enjoying my phone from last 3 months.

Domestic Unlock Question

Hello Everyone,
I currently have a SPH-L720 that I performed the international sim-unlock on and currently use it in the UK. I plan to use it when I return to the states on Verizon, but am curious if I need to perform the Domestic Sim-unlock and change the LTE bands under the hidden dialer menu or should it work automatically since the phone is currently carrier unlocked and then only need to change the LTE bands? Thanks!

It doesn't support the Verizon LTE bands to begin with. Pretty sure you will never have 4G, if I'm wrong kindly point me to the info.

Ah ok I was under the assumption that I was able to modify my LTE bands as I saw on an S5 tutorial.

Would you mind linking that tutorial? As far as I know you can only change them to bands that are already supported by the device.

hii evrybody,
first i can't contact the seller because i buy it from my freind who bought it from another country ... he is a reliable seller and he always buy from him
well the phone was amazing smooth , great camera and all , just like any other galaxy S5
but one time i put my IMEI number into ( imei.info ) and boom the web cite says that this imei is for a Note 4
i cheaked the imei with *#06# and it's the same on the back of the phone
another freind say to me dial *#1234# and if the last 3 numbers from each line are the same that mean that the software isn't edited and it's official

ANOTHER WIERED THING !!!
when i put it into download mode it says product name that this is a SM-G900P
but on device info it says that this is G900F
so my questions are :
in case of realising android M by samsung will i have any problems by updating it ?
is my phone G900P or G900F ?
what is this phone and how the seller could do that ?
can i flash it just like any other phone whitout loosing the sim-unlock ?? and should i use G900P or G900F ROM ?
what is this phone and was i getting fooled by buying it ??
is it unlocked or not ? :/

If it says G900P in download mode, that's the model you have

well , then why it says that this is g900F on device info
and will i loose sim unlock if i flash it

i just notice that i can't find wifi hotspot on settings like any other s5

Have a read through the forums, there are a good few others with the same thing, G900F on device info, the box, the sticker under the battery etc, but in download mode it says a different model, and that is the correct model

SPH-L720T stuck on Global??

Hello everyone. I recently bought a few Galaxy S4's to resell. I kept and unlocked one, then sold the others on ebay. One of the buyers just contacted me and told me that they cannot get the phone working on their sprint account because Sprint says the phone is stuck on global mode. What is global mode and is there any easy way I can walk them through correcting it? I dont rememebr seeing a global setting in the *#0011# menu.

I would tell them to Odin the stock software from www.sammobile.com that should reset everything to stock. Global mode is where it is unlocked and can use either a CDMA or GSM signal (as most of the world uses GSM not CDMA, hence the name global).

Thanks for the reply. I thought I used ODIN to format this phone before I shipped it, but I could be wrong. How can I make sure that the phone is able to work on sprint before I try to sell it again?

Yes, it does that as well... As for the last question, I don't know. Kind of hard to tell on an unactivated phone. You could try Freedompop, it's free and they use the Sprint network. If it works on there it should work on Sprint.
