I'm currently stuck in a bootloop with a rooted (Prime Exclusive) Moto G5 Plus. Every time I turn on the phone or restart the phone, I keep getting sent to TWRP Recovery, and can't boot into the system. What I want to do is just restore this phone to the stock firmware and factory reset my device. Please help me.
Bootloops!
Same here - stuck in a bootloop since the latest "security" update.
Would love to some instructions as to how to fix, even a factory reset would be okay by me.

Hello, I have just about the same problem as you do/did I haven't figured a way to fiz it. Any ideas?
I've got the exact same problem. Used the factory image to flash lollipop on my friend's Nexus 4 and it worked flawlessly. Next day he comes to me and says it froze and he force restarted and it wouldn't boot. Tried flashing the factory image again, tried flashing a several custom roms through twrp, and nothing will fully boot it will either loop or get stuck on starting apps. The only thing that has booted so far is the 4.1 factory image. Any ideas?
So guys, this is what I did:
1. Did full wipe/data/cache on CWM touch recovery
2. Flash MahDi Rom
3. Flash D802 patch
4. Flash GApps stock full 4.4
Then booted up succesfully but found out I have no root
5. So I flashed SuperSu 1.3
Booted up successfully again, but strangely, I couldn't connect to Playstore of even Google+, so I decided to re-setup my device.
6. I did Factory Reset, then the problem started. After I did the Factory Reset, the Android Robot (one with spinning thing in belly) just showing up for 20mins. I thought, it safe to hard reboot since it's only a "Factory Reset" but alas, after I reboot I'm stuck with LG Logo
Then after 20 mins, I'm stuck with the loading 4 circels after Google Logo on Mahdi until forever.
I can still see the Download Mode on my device but I'm not sure if restoring thru kdz is my only option now.
Any ideas what happened and the steps should I take to fix my device?
Thank you.

Thanks for the feedback. I just like to update that my phone went okay when I open the LG tool and there's new software upgrade to Kitkat so that solve my problem.
I have a rooted Verizon G2 on lastest KK OTA. Stock recovery. I wanted to increase my volume so I made a change to system/etc/mixer_paths.xml. I created a backup (renamed .bak) in the same location. For some reason after rebooting I got stuck at the Verizon boot animation. So I boot into stock recovery (which is just the option to factory reset) and did a factory reset. After that finished, it rebooted and I got stuck at the LG logo. Did another factory reset and now I'm stuck back at the Verizon logo again. Any ideas? I'm guessing I'm probably just going to have to revert back to the stock firmware but I'm hoping there's a better route
Edit: Ended up following this guide and I'm up and running again: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2448960
I have an S4 i9505, never rooted or flashed any custom roms. Running the latest OS version from Samsung.
Phone was on the desk while I was working, suddenly it vibrated and turned off.
Now it's stuck in a boot loop, sometimes gets stuck on the Samsung logo.
Tried booting to recovery, worked on my 3rd attempt. Wiped cache, booted past the logo into the carrier logo and the SAMSUNG logo and then went back in the loop.
I have not installed any harfmul apps, I don't want to do a factory wipe yet because of precious data on the device.
Is there anything more I can try?
Download a stock ROM for your device from sammobile.com and install it using Odin. Since Odin doesn't wipe data when it installs, your data should be safe. With luck, the reinstall will correct your bootloop.
I was from LineageOS 14.1 and I saw a post where the Nougat update has been pushed. Decided to flash A2017U B29 and it worked fine but when I tried to update, it said failed to update. So decided to reinstall the B29 rom again, and it still failed. So I decided to flash back to my stock rom which is A2017G and my phone is now stuck at the ZTE Boot logo. Waited for more than 40 minutes, still stuck there. Decided to go back to recovery and it seems that my TWRP recovery is no longer there. Only able to go back to stock recovery. Tried factory reset, wipe cache and reboot, still stuck on boot logo. Is there any way to fix this? Basically new to Android so dont really know what I'm doing. Just following tutorials that are in this forum. Pretty much f*cked up right now.
Edit : Its 12.18am now from where Im from. Hopefully someone can help me fix this issue before I go to work later in the morning :/
