Click to collapse
Having tried this many times I can tell you that you can't. I started a neew thread on this and am hoping for an answer because it's frustrating as hell to not get into TWRP again and again because of the message coming up that 'Custom Binary is blocked by FRP'
Remove Google account before booting into recovery. Then the FRP lock is gone. After you made changes in Recovery boot normal and add Google account. This is the only way. (Of course check the box for unlock for OEM under development settings)

Google Pay no longer allowed

Hi,
I have the Z17 Lite (NX591J) and 1 week ago, Google Pay now gives me this message: "Google pay can't be used on this device. This may be because your device is rooted, has an unlocked bootloader or is running a custom ROM. As a result, Google can't confirm that your device meets Google Pay's security standards."
Before this, NFC and Google Pay had been working perfectly. I have not done anything to cause this and did not have any OTA update or anything from Nubia. It may have started from Google Pay version 1.55.190269934, but may have been the previous version.
I have installed "Root Checker Pro" just to check. It says "Not Rooted" and on Safety Net check, the only thing that fails is CTS profile match.
Everything was working well and I updated it to the 20180223 update from geekbuying still everything working well including NFC and Google Pay.
Yesterday, I updated to the 20180316 from geekbuying (which I think is exactly the same as 20180223) but it has not changed anything. I still get that error message from Google Pay.
What can I do?
Is anyone able to help me regarding CTS Profile match = false (mismatch)?
Geekbuying released an updated firmware v1.05. CTS profile is fixed and therefore Google Pay works again.

Can't log-in to Samsung Apps

Hello there guys. So I just updated to Oreo (Exynos), but what is weird is I cannot log-in my Samsung account on any of the apps, it just prompts "processing failed". In-browser, logging-in is not a problem.

Just a curiosity.

I was just wondering. Is there any way to pass frp lock by installing a custom ROM without actually flashing gapps? Leaving the phone only with the ROM's pre-installed apps and downloading Google account manager or a specific frp bypass apk to get into a new account, assuming right now your phone is already connected to a Google account. After, flashing gapps the phone should now work by the Google account that is connected without being frp locked, right? Or there needs certain Google apps to link your account while using the mini frp bypass tool?
And so, if that's working. Could you actually go back to stock with no frp lock?
You don't need any custom rom... Download bypass apk, keep it in pendrive or sd card... Connect via otg, then install that app which will open ur device's settings and reset your device from there... That's all.. You're done ?

Is my second hand S6 edge rooted?

Hi,
I got a second-hand s6 edge from someone(don't ask from whom, I don't know either ) & it's not rooted. At least it doesn't have any superuser app to permit root access. I also checked using Root Checker & it couldn't detect root. Neither it has any custom recovery installed nor it gives any problem using banking apps.
But... though it's already in Nougat, when I go to system update manually, it says that your devices have been modified in an unauthorized way, bla bla bla... (see screenshot). It also said the same in another option but I can't remember where.
So, what's could possibly have happened with my device?
Also, dialing *#0000# doesn't show any option but it is supposed to show...
I want to root it(not now though) ^_^
