Excuse my English.
After a few rom installations, I have a faint sound when making calls and ringing (50% compared to other phones)
Everything is set to the maximum.
I did not use flash stock rom. Now I use OS lineage. I do not know what to try. If I try some soundbooster in the speaker is crackling.
Wipe phone flash stock rom and test.

A friend of mine has a brand new nexus4 but when phone calls are made there is no sound. It has 4.2.2 with .48 radio and new bootloader. I tried a couple things: rooted it and flashed the bootloader and radio again with stock rom. Then install cm 10.1 with the new and old radios with the same results.
Any suggestions?

Is their no sound at all or is the volume just really low, almost to the point where you cant hear anything? If so, I had this same problem and all i did was restart my phone and it seemed to fix itself.

I had the same issue after the latest PIE rom update. Flashing the radio solved my problem, try this radio: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2087227
Real quick: did your friend test the phone for sound at the store before paying for it? Or did the no-sound issue kick in only after a little tinkering?
Total Noob here. I have a GS4 (Canadian Rogers Model i337m). When flashing CM 10.2 I wiped dalvik cache, system, data, internal storage, and cache (to get all the samsung stuff off my device) and formatted data. After flashing, everything worked perfectly EXCEPT there is no audio from anywhere. No systems sounds, no notification sounds, no music (headphones don't even work), absolutely nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've been racking my brain all day trying to figure something out. Thanks.
Stock firmware?

Ive got the same issue, I was running OMNI rom until i got fed up of the phone powering off on its own. I decided to flash back to stock rom with odin then flash CM11 nightly. Thats about when I lost sound. Not only do I not have sound, the phone freezes up every time I use an app ( even dialer ) which requires sound. I've since tried flashing back to stock again in Odin, even trying different stock firmwares. I've still got the issue and the phone is basically useless as a phone without sound... Please help. Is this a modem issue? If so, how to I flash a new modem that will work, and doesn't flashing stock replace the modem anyway? Could this be a bootloader issue? I've been flashing roms and playing around with android for a while but I'd still consider myself a noob.
Same
I got the same thing here, No music plays at all, My phone completely froze when someone tried to call me. also complete noob at this stuff.
I did find a couple ROM's that were i337m 4.3. But none did anything, but did the same thing. All had no audio at all. I also get screen flashing a lot (That could just be my water damage)
Wouldn't mind finding an answer for this either!

I have yet to find a ROM that will let me Flash via Odin (Correction I did find one, but the same problems came up, no WIFI and no Audio), so the one I currently have is Goldeneye, which was flashed via CWM
Flash i337m 4.3 official firmware
You might wanna try flashing a new kernel. That usually fixes Wifi issues at least.

I use KT kernel. It's in my sig. Might be able to fix any other issues you're having too.
Hey MrKhozam thanks a bunch!
Sidenote, anyone know any Stock kernels of i337m? Or if they are even available for download. Or a way to get 'em?
Hello............
My samsung galaxy note 3 is very slow
I formatted it through recovery and the is no changes
it is very slow when i played on any games
i updated it to 4.4.2
what is the Solution ?
Thanks in advance
Formated means wipe data/factory reset?
Do you use any task killers, clean masters, antivirs etc??
Never had a problem on my Note 3. Have had this problem many times on my original Note and Galaxy S however.
You could try PurePerformancexX or try a completely fresh stock ROM flashed using ODIN and your choice of ROM from Sam Mobile.
Or simply use a different custom ROM flashed from your custom recovery. Making sure to do a complete wipe before hand (or during installation with Aroma Installer).
What ROM are you using?

I am on stuck 4.4.2
Well I'm currently using MultiX with stock kernel, virtually nothing selected except for things like Dropbox and other necessities that I use. It's as light as you want it to be. Give it a shot.
Also if it's games that are lagging you can try using custom Kernels.
One that springs to mind is Aurora which has a GPU overclock.
All controllable using Synapse which installs at the same time Aurora is.
Good luck

Installing a kernel is hard?
It takes 60 seconds, you don't need to change Synapse settings I was just saying you can.
They're two different suggestions. Install the ROM if you can be bothered or install the kernel for an easier/quicker attempt at raising performance.
ROM's don't usually change performance much anyway if you have a non-bloated ROM already installed.
But yeah in this order: Try the kernel, or try the ROM, or try the PurePerformancesX thing as a last ditched effort.
Fast Phone
with wipe data all user data will be deleted but phone to become fastest than ago.

He tried that champ!
Lag while on stock? It is either bad software or it may be defected cpu
I will try custom kernel & PurePerformanceX, but your warranty may be lost.
Best way is wipe all in recovery and clean flash newest stock ROM for your CSC via Odin.
Then if is your device slow, you have to apply your warranty. (sorry for my english)
Friends,
I have a N9005 and some days ago, I saw that when I put it to charge, the red led didn´t turn on. The same when the batery was low.
In hardware test only the blue led works..
Do you thik this is a hardware fail or it can be a software glitch ?
I have root and custom rom (arya 2.1 marsmellow) with lss 3.9 kernel, but this failure didn´t happen after flash anything new.
Thanks
Flash stock rom and test .

Thanks,
But I prefer to miss the leds to flash all the things again.
And the LED problem happens a lot of time after I flash arya ROM

By your answer I think that my english isn´t very good kkk
I try to say that the problem with the LED didn´t happen SEVERAL times after a flash custom ROM/Kernel, but that I flash ROM/kernel later in January, and the problem begins only 1 or 2 week ago..
OK, this not exclude the problem be related with ROM, but, if there is a low level hardware test that can be done with LEDs to eliminate a hardware problem, I think is better to try this before have to flash old ROM and have the conclusion that this didn´t solve the problem..
As I said, I use the phone hardware test *#0*# and the blue color works. But I don´t know if this test is realy low level or can have some influence of ROM/kernel.
Thanks

You don't HAVE to re-flash everything again. Create a backup with nandroid, factory reset, flash stock and then test. If it is a software glitch, you will know and will have to make a decision on if you want to keep your ROM. If it is a hardware malfunction, you can go back and restore your nandroid backup without any harm but you will know for sure that it is hardware related and not software.
My phone is j7y17lte. After I used some @ ananjaser1211's rom port, and installed magisk to root and installed PureperformanceStock to optimize performance, my phone suddenly turned into on7xelte. I tried returning to the stock rom but it still didn't return to j7y17lte. In addition, when I tried to install to lineageos, my phone speaker sounded a shrill sound and no longer heard any sound. Can someone help me fix it?
