Please help fixing EFS - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I wiped it clean my Nexus 6P, it's a rooted device with TWRP and stock Android. The thing is it's not detecting the SIM at the moment (IMEI present in barcodes in the bootloader screen). It happened to me before and I solved it by restarting modemst1 and modemst2 from the fastboot via ADB, now when I attempt the same I get a "permision denied" error on the windows console. The bootloader is unlocked and USB debugging is enabled so I don't know what's going on. I also attempted to do it via TWRP's terminal but I get an error stating "no space left on device".

I face the same problem as you.

[Q] Wiped entire device, fastboot commands fail

Hello,
So I am in big troubles, I wanted to to a fresh install and wipe everything.
Except that I went too fast and wiped really everything... after I tried to install zRam script from Jay.
I still have access to fastboot and recovery and my device is detected as a fastboot device on my computer.
BUT, when i try to use fastboot comands, evyer single of them return "FAILED, unknown error"
I really have no idea on how to fix this. I guess I might need an OTG cable to access kernel+rom files and flash them.
I have access to the root folder through TWRP, if only i could push some files there it would be easy as pie...
Anyone has an idea to help me ?
F Yeah! I found the solution.
All I did was relock and then unlock my boot loader.
Then fastboot commands were working again.

Remove ClockworkMod Recovery and relock after bricked

So I tried to update to KitKat 4.4 and was never able to get passed the loading screen. I booted into ClockworkMod Recovery and wiped everything and now the device will not go passed the Google loading screen. The device is no longer recognized when I plug into the computer and I cannot access through Wugs.
I called Google and they are sending out an RMA for this device (I did not tell them it was unlocked) and they are sending out a replacement.
Is there anyway that I can remove ClockworkMod Recovery and re-lock this device without being able to access the device through a computer?

Whoa, RMA's should be only used for last resort bootloader bricks! Since you still have the bootloader ("Google" logo at startup), hold Power + Volume Down to enter Fastboot mode and try reflashing the factory images. Just to be safer, use the Universal Naked Drivers and skip with bootloader image. Don't forget to have the ADB and Fastboot binaries in the same folder. I wouldn't recommend toolkits as they don't expose new users with these situations.
If you need anything else, let me know. If I completely missed on what you needed, sorry about that.
Also, just as long as the bootloader update isn't interrupted or type "fastboot erase bootloader" you should be fine without an RMA.

thanks for the reply.
I am able to boot in recovery mode on the device and this is recognized by Wugs as "ADB - device on". When I attempt any flash, it checks Fastboot status and I receive notification that the "Fastboot device was not found". I cannot find a compatible driver when I am in fastboot mode running on a Windows 7 x64 machine.
Any idea on how I can get this N7 to function, return to stock, or at least remove ClockworkMod and lock the bootloader so I can RMA?

Corrupted (most likely) bootloader

Hello,
Tried to update to lollipop like the rest of the world..well, i should have waited
At first i just ran the flash-all.bat (edited so it didn't include erase userdata and the -w option)
fastboot threw all sorts of errors, too many links, invalid argument
then i tried to run manually the commands, same thing. Not all of them "worked" at once.
Unfortunately I don't have a log.
So now i have a N7 that won't boot past the Google screen
I can get to bootloader but it shows on device manager as Unknown USB device, Device Descriptor Request Failed, so fastboot doesnt help.
I can also get to stock recovery and use adb just fine.
Is there anyway to fix this? sideloading anything?

Zenfone 5 a501CG T00J (TW)-Wiped all partitions including /system /data from TWRP

Hello All
I've rooted and installed TWRP recovery. And accidently wiped all partitions (system, data, caches...). Currently no OS installed.
Tried installing Cyanogen mods and also default ROMs via TWRP but getting error saying
====
Unknown command "screenshot"
E: Unable to mount /spare
====
Also tried flashing default ROMs...same error . No luck.
Tried wiping all partitions again.
connected to my linux lap
Device is connected and listed while running command "lsusb". (USB data connection working)
But not detecting under adb devices also not shown under fastboot mode. (So no luck to flash via PC).
All forums saying "check usb debugging" to show under adb devices. How can I ..if there is no ROM
Also TWRP is restarting after some time.

In my case, the phone is not listed under fastboot devices But it's connected to computer in fastboot mode and we can see the device is listed when command lsusb is executed.

I checked on Manjaro and my phone is present under fastboot. Try reinstall drivers or use other PC to connect by fastboot.
so sad for both of you guys i've already encountered this before try this any of these.
- use adb sideload via TWRP using stock firmware UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-2.22.40.54-user.zip
- if you have a back up restore it, then boot to fastboot and flash the fastboot, boot and recovery of this firmware UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-2.22.40.54-user.zip then boot to recovery and side again using this firmware.
- try this link if it's work http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/hard-bricked-zenfone-unbrick-method-to-t3131911
sorry guys i forgot how i managed to solve this i will update this thread. just always remember use always this firmware UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-2.22.40.54-user.zip and back your current rom even if it's stock or custom this is most important. if you can access bootloader just do the flashing fastboot, boot and recovery this would be easy if you can access bootloader.

[SOLVED] Bricked ALE-L21 | Damaged fastboot partition

So, I've had an issue with fastboot mode for some time, it reacted to everything with a "remote: command not allowed". I tried an sdcard upgrade to stock which did nothing, ran the oem unlock again and that said unlocked succesfully (it was aleady unlocked but ok) then tried to relock, tried to flash every stock image from B896 I knew the partition of - everything returned "remote: command not allowed", also did a fastboot reboot - which worked, if I remember correctly, enabled usb debugging and saved my computers key just to be sure - still no difference.
Later on, I tried reinstalling the fastboot image from the phone itself using dd - that was pretty stupid, I know - especially since there were two files named fastboot and fastboot1 but only one fastboot partition (I don't even, just had to try) and after a reboot it shows no logo, doesn't vibrate, only thing it does is blink the led red-green-green for a minute and power off again. I have a raw backup of the original partition but no way to restore it.
Does anyone know how to repair a diskdestroyer'd fastboot partition? I'm willing to try any risky methods, including disassembly and reflashing of the memory chip. Does someone have a model number for the built in flash storage?
Any help is much appreciated.
