Heyyo, no idea! But tbh as long as the dimensions are correct and the connector is the same and cable is of proper length? It should work...
Only potential issue is none of the ROMs might detect the proper battery specifications as the kernel source for x2 only includes the stock battery 3100MAh... Albeit one could try to include other battery sizes to see what happens :silly:

Anyone own/used both RN4 SD625 & Mi Max, can give a meaningful comparison of both devices in terms of battery backup?
Both devices are around the same price for 32gb ROM version. Need to make a decision to buy which one, battery backup is priority criteria for me, everything else is secondary.
Thank you.
I'd go for RN4 SD is battery life is your main priority

mi max support qc3.0 while rn4 does not.
i own both device , if u want insane battery go for redmi note 4 snapdragon
for perfomance go for mi max . i got more than 10hrs+ SOT with redmi note 4 and 7hrs+ SOT with the same usage (gaming, surfing, etc.) on both devices.
with heavy usage redmi note 4 only warm a bit while mi max heat a lots!
overall i will choose mi max because its score more on performance.

im on resurection remix 7.1.2 sir . with electrablue kernel.
Sometimes it'll die on my kind of quick without me realizing and when I plug it back in to charge, it'll sit and 0% and not charge, and the ETA for a full charge is N/A. Anyone have similiar issues? Would that be ROM/kernel related, or strictly hardware based?
I bought LE X720 for my wife.
I tried different versions of the original rom and with all the phone's battery was not charging normally.
I did downgrade to CN-5.8.017S, the problem continued. Then i upgraded to version CN-5.8.018S, the problem continued.
Now I'm using a version EUI 5.8.21s LEX720/727 USA. The charging problem continues and battery drain very quickly.
Every time I reboot the phone before plugging it in to the charger.
Do not buy this phone model - LE ZL1 X720. It is a great disappointment.
well, its not a constant thing for me, just sometimes. And the reason i got the x720 over the usa x727 version was the 6gb ram vs 4gb ram I believe was the difference. It also has dual SIm but ive no need for that. I wish I wouldve gotten the 128gb version but either I couldn't find it at the time, or it was more than i wanted to spend at the time. Still, for ~$250 im quite happy with this phone. Except I didnt order a hard case, thinking the case for my S3 would fit it, but the camera spot is slightly different.
This issue is known for at least a year, just don't use LeEco provided charger and cable and buy some better ones and you won't have that problem anymore.
For a better battery life don't use stock ROM, flash some custom ROM like Lineage 15.1. I get almost 10 hours of SOT on LOS15.1.

Absolutely!
The problem is not from charger and cable. I trying the charger and cable from my phone - ZUK Z2, the battery is continuing to not charging. After rebooting, the battery is charging normally.
Also i do not have charging issues with Android Oreo based custom roms. But with custom roms a battery drain very quickly.
With stock ROM i get about 2 days battery life, if phone not used too much.
Compared to the ZUK Z2, this ZL1 X720 is a huge disappointment.
Use the *Battery calibration* root app from google and follow the instructions after flashing your new rom.
Im using the Pie rom by mcintosh and average roughly 7-9 hours sot with 40% brightness and location on with moderate use
im happy with the phone for the most part, and the S3. I wonder if LeEco is still going to be making new phone models with that whole in debt thing i read about. Btw, do any of yall know what the Performance rating of your ram is in the Memory section? i attached a screenshot
Hello. The specifications of my mix 3 5g came out and apparently it is the same as the mix 3 except for the capacity of the battery and the processor. My question is this: since the two phones are identical in design, will it be possible to put the battery of mi mix 3 5g in mi mix 3?

All that hassle to get an extra 30 mins battery life.
Unless you live in a cave you could just plug it into a power socket, use a battery bank, or use phone less
I just got a mi mix 3 coming from a mi 8 and battery life so far (4 days of owning it) is not as good as the mi 8, but the wireless charging makes up for it by a long shot. Wireless charger in the car, on my work desk, at home etc it's so fast to just top it up and the xiaomi 20W charger is so cheap I find it a well worth trade off to get rid of the notch.
I just wish there was more we could do with the slide. I have it to open my transit app when opening and would love for it to close it and go back to last app when closing the slide, but with time I guess.
Mi Mix 3 5G is thicker than Mi Mix 3 https://m.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_mi_mix_3_5g-9602.php

Are you just concerned about the battery life for daily use? The simplest way to prolong your battery over a day is to rid yourself of bloat and eliminate apps for things you can simply load up in your web browser. Removing Facebook alone will add more minutes to your battery usage per day than swapping out the battery for the larger one, which also won't fit in the Mi Mix 3.

Wow lol not worth it.
If you need to fit a bigger battery to an already adequate battery to get an extra 1 hour and 15 mins then you need to put the phone down and go out more

yes but if you play a lot, use only 4g, 600mAh are better
for me and for 99.9% of the people in the world it's not acceptable go out without phone

Hi everyone,
I thought I am the only one that wants to steal the battery from mi mix 3 5G and fit into my phone.
the battery isn't great, and if I can replace the battery with a large capacity I will..
it's annoying they removed the wireless charging feature from the 5G version.
if they would made a 4000 mAh battery, everyone was happy.
If someone succeed, please let me know.
All the best!
Maybe a late reply, I did find a 4300mAh battery for the mi mix 3 but with the max charging voltage of 4.4 instead of 4.45 as it is in the 5g model I will try it however in thr 5g model and see how it goes, I will update here if it works and post a link to it.
Update: it does not work the phone will not boot only show the mix logo for a second or two and then turn off
Hello,
i bought 2 leeco the pro 3 X720 2 months ago for my son and me
I unlocked the bootloader
then I installed TWRP
then I tried lots of rom (lineagos aosip EUI (grossoshop) etc ...
I have never reached more than 6 hours of screen use with a full charge on both phones
But on specialized sites we talk about 10 or 11 hours of use videos
I do not understand why a smartphone with a battery of 4070 mah does not take more than 6 hours
Thank you for answering me
PS; I constantly put the brightness to a minimum and I cut the 4 g the sync the location etc to try to hold more than 6 hours but nothing makes it
There are lots of factors that could be affecting it, from hardware to software. Likely software. You may want to use an app like Kernel Adiutor to optimize the phone's settings, but be very careful as you could brick the phone by accident.
What you need is probably a custom kernel.
Hello,
thank you for your reply
what is a custom kernel?
how do you flash?
when we flash a rom, we do not flash the kernel with?
Can you tell me more
Hi,
My Max Pro M1 is not rooted yet and is running with pie. Phone's charging speed has drastically reduced now and it takes anywhere between 8 to 10 hours to fully charge the phone. Any solutions for this?
Thinking of exploring custom roms with decent charging speed and stable features. Can anyone suggest few roms that are stable with good charging speed?
Thanks,
Sai

DotOS is the most balanced ROM here. It wasn't updated for a long time but the ROM is very stable, best for daily use.
