So i just restored my phone to stock. Everything works great except i don't seem to have a wifi calling toggle... Did ZTE remove this feature or did i mess something up restoring my phone to stock? Running the latest update build number A2017UV1.1.0B35

So I dont exactly know what is going on. I go to connect to a wireless network and it will start to connect, say its obtaining IP adress, and then refresh and start all over again. It never actually connects and stays connected. I know its not the router because I have tried numerous networks (that worked before) and now they just stopped working. I did have trouble with root and I re unlocked the tablet because root wasn't working. Is there anyway I messed something up? I installed the 3.2.2 rooted rom and now I flashed back to moray both with the same non-working wifi result.
Anyone know what is going on?

Did you by chance restore system apps and data through Titanium Backup? Sometimes wifi is messed up by restoring a previous version of the system app and data over a newer version supplied by a custom Rom.
You might want to just wipe everything in recovery, reflash your Rom and set it all up again fresh.
my WIFI was messed up when I swiched Kernels way back. I had forgotten to push one of the files... when you switched ROMs, did you wipe first or did you just install one over the other?
have similar issue after going from hammerhead 3.2 to moray 2.2.2.
Infrastructures wifi works fine, but whe trying to connect the xoom to an ad-hoc (from Nokia jokiuspot) just keeps displaying "obtaining IP address". Never had a problem with hammerhead? Guessing it has something to do with the dchp client on the Xoom¿
Certainly not a big problem, and something I am more than happy to live with as is.
everything else working spot on. Using a UK wifi only!
Over the last several days, I've noticed I don't have any data connectivity on my LS980, running CM12. I'm on the ZV8 radio.
Things worked fine a few days ago--I'm not really sure when it stopped working, maybe when I installed the most recent nightly (150505)? I've tried toggling roaming on and off, wiping things, reinstalling, rolling back to both CM11 and the nightly where I knew it worked (150405), all without any luck.
I can make calls and text, and wifi works just fine, but I've got no data service at all.
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot? I'm happy to do some digging, but I don't really know where to start!
Did you figure this out
Im having this issue also
Yeah, it ended up being that some of my radio settings were jacked. If I remember right, I switched Preferred Network type from CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA to CDMA + LTE/EvDo.
And then it started working.

I guess my settings got messed up also during my latest nandroid backup.
I had another working backup......So I just flashed the old working backup, then flashed the Data only from the non working backup restore.
Last night my phone started acting up on the recently flashed official CM13 nightly 25-3. So I tried to restore my nandroid backup of the CM12.1 version but got stuck in a bootloop. I manually reflashed CM13 but can't get internet through wifi or cellular data, wifi is off and keeps displaying "Turning on wifi" with a grayed out toggle in the on position, Data is on but there is no H or LTE displayed next to my signal. Calling and texting work fine though.
I tried going back to stock Cyanogen OS with the windows toolkit but still the same issue. Installed Chroma kernel and flashed the Marshmellow firmware but still no fix.
Anyone have any ideas how to resolve this?
Edit: Data works now, it was an APN issue. Still no wifi though. And apparently Bluetooth isn't working either
So I just rooted my SM-G950F with magisk also installed the no verity.
Everything went fine except one thing.
I can not make any calls, recieve calls or send text.
Only thing that works is my mobile data and recieving texts.
How can I fix my calling issue?
Flash it back stock.
Did not work, tried that.
And you did not flash any custom roms? Just like installed Magisk and non verify patch?
I have what appears to be a demo device; this one will not do OTA.
So I installed the newer roms but then speech to text, the microphone would not work except only for calling. I downgraded to the stock rom and it was fine.
But I decided to keep trying I was hoping it might be something I did wrong and could upgrade. Still no microphone so I downgraded back to stock again. This time; Wifi completely stopped working. It will not detect any wifi networks. Some goggle searching said that it is possible the modem got messed up. Not sure what to do. I tried flashing again it didn't make any difference.
One thing I noticed though is the first time when downgrading I forgot to turn on USB debugging, but it still allowed me to do it and it went smoothly.
Having no wifi on a smartphone with no apps on it is a bad thing
Well some google search told me if this happens you can flash to the July Oreo update and your stuff will work. I did that and it worked. My ,ic still won't record sound so then I went back to the 7.1.1 and it works fine. Too bad I am stuck with nouget or my mic will not record stound and I cannot do OTA.
Here is the thread I found which was quite helpful.:

I just used the July Oreo update, the fastboot version.
