I've seen many people posting their screenshots with Secondary Display.
Is it possible with Stock Android? My device is H990DS
So if possible, can someone tell me how to do that?
I'm in no intention to root my phone!

on mine you simply swipe left on the second screen. the second set of icons all the way to the right is an icon that has a pen inside of a box inside of a circle, click on that. the phone will take a screen shot. and give some editing options. to save it click on the check mark (on the second screen). hope this helps

AFAIK, that's not possible without root.
For this, root is required, but if you change your mind:
2nd Screen Screenshot
Add the following line to build.prop to enable both screens when taking a screenshot:
sys.capture_signboard.enabled=true

Unfortunately, the lcd of my unrooted Desire Z device recently broke. The touchscreen is working though. Before I send the device in for repair, I'd like to back up my data (contacts, sms..) via ADB. However, USB-debugging mode is not enabled on my device.
I know where to find the option, but it's difficult to get there without seeing anything on the screen.
Could someone please post a couple of screenshots of all the steps to take, in such a way that I can determine the right place to press the screen to enable USB-debugging mode?
Any other suggestions to tackle this issue and back-up my data are of course also welcome.

Unrooted desire z is prob sense. Also perhaps using the track pad would be a better idea?

oh. I conveniently ignored the "unrooted" part, hehe. I'm of no use then because I don't know my way around sense roms.
Yep, it's sense indeed. It has an unbranded stock rom.
Using the track pad is possible as well, but then I still need to know the exact presses I have to make. Besides it's easy to move a step too far with the trackpad.

I believe it does, however, USB-debugging mode needs to be turned on for that as well, which it currently isn't. I'm still hoping someone can post a couple of screenshots or describe the trackpad moves to make to enable USB debugging mode. I think it should be under settings > applications > development > USB-debugging..

I will post up some pictures or a video of where to press on my brother's stock DHD. I would use my own, but I have an AOSP rom installed so that would be of no use. I'll have it up in the next hour or so.
EDIT: Here are the shots.
1) Press the "Menu" key on any homescreen to bring up the menu you see on the first shot. Hit "Settings". This is the easy part.
2) From here, there's going to be alot of guesswork and luck. Scroll all the way down. From there, the "Applications" option is the 7th from the bottom. Each option is probably about 3/4" in height. Use that to approximate.
3) Hit Development, about 1/3 the way down the screen
4) If you've made it all the way here, then hit the top check to enable USB Debugging.

it should be easy to unlock screen, just drag down
press menu key> photo 1
drag down to the bottom> photo 2> photo 3> photo 4
then press screen like the position at photo 5

How do you choose app specific colors as shown in the attached picture? Can't figure out how to 'select' the color I want I'm the attached without losing the settings.
I.e. I can use the 'back' button at the bottom left, but I don't retain the settings.

Noticed this around about an hour later after making this post, and was so excited with my self I didn't take this post down. This likely should be in PA's specific thread for the Nexus 10. But I'm guessing this is a known issue?

I assume this was a bugs.
Anyway I no longer use PA due to it not smooth enough and stability than AOKP ROM.

I have two vertical very fine lines on my S4 screen (please see attached) - I've taken a screenshot and viewed it on my PC but I cannot see anything hence it seems like its my screen! I've another phone to take picture of my screen so its not very clear but the two line are on the right hand side of the screen.
I've rebooted etc but no change.
Anyone else experience anything similar or advise please?

but if u get this problem when use test menu of android >> it s hardware issue take to service for replace.

Thanks...running the LCD test also shows up the two lines (on red and blue but not noticeable on green)!
Looks like I'll have to restore back to Samsung stock and send it in for repair!

I updated leaked lollipop 5.0 version my Note 3, 9005 exactly like guidelines told here (this forum is heaven on earth, thanks), everything seems to went well, except a "little" issues what i found: I don´t have screen pinning option and multiple users option (found that i´m not the only one), but the biggest issue which i found that - what the heck - I dont have quick settings panel at all and didn´t find any thread considering this kind of issue .
And yes, I do know how to use a phone Believe me, it just isn´t there, I thought also myself that this girl has lost her brains when i try to swipe and do all the magic tricks hoping to find the mystic panel. But no.
Please could Somebody help me on this one. :good:

That's extremely weird! You mean the the five icons which you get by pulling down with one finger on status bar right? So what are you getting when you pull down, nothing?
Did you make a full wipe before flashing the ROM?
Well, nothing. It looks exactly as it was previous version 4.4x.
Except those "S finder" and "quick connection" buttons, see picture. What i have seen, the panel not suppose to look like this, see picture?
Is this weird or maybe it´s me?

If that screenshot is how you are having the quick settings panel then its normal and that's how it looks on LP.

There was supposed to be a special tab when you use two fingers to swipe from the top screen and have the ability to turn on flashlight and switch users. I don't have it either. How do you switch users? Go in guest mode?
Yes, exactly same here.
Although I don't have a guest mode at all and no silence mode (icon) anywhere so I think this failed.

I would love to disable the edge on my S7 edge (at least one of them) because I am always accidentally tapping on them while writing which occurs to typos, mistakes, wrong presses and whatever.
Anyone knows a way how to do that?

When it comes to typos you can easily reduce the width of the samsung keyboard in settings. Other then that you either use a case to avoid unwanted touch input or you could try to fiddle around with some third party sidebar launchers and set action to nothing but let them block the area at the same time. Just an idea. Imho just get a nice case. Even though the phone is less stunning it lies much better in your hand.

Go to settings--> Edge Screen--> turn off appropriate sliders.
I replaced my edge stuff with a combination of Swapps and PopUp Widget. Easily configure where your swipe spot is... and replace the edge panels with ones I created myself. Not everyone's bag, but it works for me.

I guess he means to turn off touch input on the edges not the edge panel itself. But could
you give more detailed info about your combo of swaps and popup widget. Which apps do you use? Could you provide a screenshot? Thx. I use glovebox as a sidebar app launcher.

I really hate the edge screen for functionality. The phone needs a case to use in your hands. It is a beautiful phone, but if it wasn't for the bigger screen and larger battery, I would have gladly traded for the standard S7. I'm not holding my breath of disabling or reducing the touchscreen sensitivity on the sides of the phone, but I'll be interested if something does come out like this.
