Hi, I hope you could help me.
I was on AOSPA rom but I wanted to try persona78's rom, so i flashed the stock b636 with twrp, but i got the balong problem; i found a zip to fix the problem; the balong was gone, but the phone can't detect the sim!
I tried this, but idk why the phone is still on 636 (I tried twice!); what can I do?
If I flashed the aospa rom again, would I solved the problem?
Please, help:crying:
Ok, I solved my problem, after lot of panic:
I installed the B052 with the flash-all.bat file (search online) - but I had to do twice, the first time there were something wrong -, then I flashed from Updater>Local Update the update.app containing the vendor file for B052; at the reboot the IMEI disappeared, BUT! Do the OTA to B170 and... everything is working! Now you can install any rom/version you need.

Hi
I have recently dropped my phone (Moto G4 Plus (XT1642)) down the loo :/ However I riced it and it worked, all accept I couldn't pickup signal... I decided to factory reset (found there was an ICCID error).
After doing this and finding this didn't fix the problem, I scoured the internet, and no solution was found, so I unlocked the bootloader, flashed TWRP and it worked, my signal picked back up, and the ICCID error was fixed, all was good.
Then I went playing in TWRP, and I think I may of done a factory reset :'(...
So I went out and downloaded Ressurection Remix and CyanogenMod, and tried to flash these, but no success, I'm currently downloading the factory image off another xda thread:
Can I have some concise instructions on how to flash this so I don't brick my device? Ive already made a no OS backup.
Cheers in Advance
I just did this today! I just downloaded the stock XT1644 rom and tried to install it through TWRP and it keeps giving me an error that says, "Could not find 'META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary' in the zip file." If this is the stock rom, I have no idea what else I can do.
The stock ROM can't be flashed through twrp it has to be unzipped and flashed through fastbooy
I've found the solution! Download the stock rom that's floating around in the forum and follow this tutorial. I've successfully unbricked my phone! Thanks for the tip @khaoticking.
I tried

I tried to do this but it failed at ""fastboot flash partition gpt.bin" anyway to fix this?
I did manage to flash RR on and that seems to be working accept for the sim card reader.
cheers
Hello,
I've followed this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...t/24-12-16-revolution-nougat-rom-rc1-t3525138 to install nougat. Then, after some issues with it I wanted to go back to MM, however the method described there does not work. I can use TWRP and Fastboot is fine, I install the oeminfo and then when trying to install the stock rom it just fails at 5% . over and over. Anyone elese experienced this?
I'm on VNS-L21 btw.
Cheers!
Maybe your update.app is corrupted..try download again..
I've tried several times with several update.app files corresponding to B150 and B161(latest) for my device. I also noticed that TWRP is showing an error that /system cannot be mounted when I try to install nougat again (desperate attempt).
trying to flash system with fastboot fails as well..
You flashed the oeminfo for VNS-L31.

I'm back!
Finally made some progress. I have my own oeminfo I restored from twrp, I have nougat back up by flashing /system.img, cache, etc
However I don't have the radio. Anyone can help on that end? I know fastboot has fastboot flash radio, but which is the correct .img for that?
Extract radio from update.app and flash it whit fastboot?
yep, but I can't tell what the radio package name is. I see modem, could that be it?
Hello fellows. I am in a deep sh&*. Maybe someone can help.
I have a p10+ L09 converted to L29, rooted, bootloader unlocked. It was on rooted stock rom. Yesterday, tried to make the update, and something went wrong. Now, I can't install any rom exept future rom or something found here. I've tried rayglobe knife, Huawei multi tool, eRecovery, dload, and no way to install an official rom. I am barely able to install twrp, format data, and install future rom before rebooting.
Tried to extract boot, cust, system from the original rom, but it says finished and bootloop just after the unlocked message. On latest versions, I cant even find them in the update.app..
Any help, any downloadable file or link is really appreciated. Please help...

What error/behaviour are you getting from erecovery?
Plop
Hello mate. Thanks for your time.
ERecovery crash everytime at 5%. If I try to download via erecovery, it doesn't download.
I've tried to extract the files from update. App, and inject them via fastboot. It goes to the end of the operation, but once rebooted, it bootloop before the Huawei logo..
I don't understand what happens.. It's like if the phone don't want the original firmware anymore..
If you have any files to propose me, I really want to try tonight...
Can you somehow recover your original oeminfo with TWRP and retry erecovery? That's how I got out of a similar situation, although I can't say for sure whether I really had the same root cause.
Hmm not sure that the oem info is ok or corrupted...
That's what I am affraid of..
I will try in a moment to see..
If it's corrupted, that means the phone is dead?
In that case you could try funkyhuawei, they provide their own oeminfo and erecovery connection. They do cost money though.
May I ask what makes you want to go away from the fromfuture ROM?
This... Android 5.1, emui 3.1
I don't know if iam becoming stupid with age, but can't find any more recent... And with the kids yelling on my back.... Lol
Well, I found a recent rom from future. Had some troubles with Android locking magisk, but now it's working ( update magisk before putting your Gmail account and restore). For now it's working fine. Just had a few freezes here and there but since this morning it's going fine. I think I'll stay with it for now.
Thanks for the people who tried to help me.
XDa rules!
I wanted to flash my huawei p10 plus, and by mistake I put the rom of p10, when turning on the phone has no network and the installed version is ONYX d188, it turns on normal, but when I put the program does not install anything, but from the fastboot bat if you can install the twpr, but I can not install the rom vky that is the p10 plus. it loads all the files to me but when installing the recovery for reboot and installation does not do it, it says that it does not find them. Through the bat file, I do not install recovery or oeminfo or anything, but through fastboot, I can install the twpr, and the recovery, as I see the problem is in the oeminfo, is there any way to reinstall by fastboot?
Will there be any way to install the oeminfo?
Can somebody help me?

I solve it!
the problem was that the .bat did not recognize the cell phone. but if the file is renamed, it will recognize it without problem. the answer is in this forum: https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10/help/error-message-hwota-t3676935 . and the procedure is normal for this forum: https://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=1308963 just rename the hwota.sh.
Dear friends,
I have a recovery bootloop problem with my Op6t European version.
On this week I made an OTA update (11.1.1.1 version) with magisk app. I made with install to inactive slot (after OTA) version.
After this process my phone was reboot and got a recovery bootloop. I have never been in this situation although I made more update with this process.
After that I tried to make wipe cache and reset system settings but it was not succes.
I tried to read forum threads where somebody also has this problem. I found a thread where somebody use fastboot and change slot to use phone temporaly. It's also working for me on but I would like to repair that.
Can I get back my old system with my data? How can I make some solution?
Sorry for my bad english.
UPDATE:
Yesterday I tried to reflash the stock rom with adb sideload , but absolutely does nothing in this case.
I am also having this issue. Can someone point me in the right place for a fix?
