This rom has adblock, better battery improvements, and all chinese bloatware apps removed....so it will b a minimal miui rom

Its worse than xiaomi.eu rom as it use global rom as base while xiaomi.eu use czech miui base or china base ! It is a tiny developer group while eu is far greater dev group ! Eu has more feature and mi-globe adds more feature to eu rom!while epic has minor changes than to stock

Atleast we can respect whatever someone does. If you do not like it, then fine, do not use it.
Tiny or big, at least they are trying to do something and learning too.
What might you do mate? If you wanna criticise then look at MiUi Global Dev, and criticise them, it would be helpful. MiUi in the name of development gives crappier updates, and that too everytime they increase the OTA size.

Right, this ROM can be named Minimal MiUi, as it uses base MiUi ROM, along with few Globe Mi functionalities.

Are you using xiaomi.eu rom.
Clean install from cm13 latest using the recovery provided in the official cm13 thread.
I didn't get any error on flashing log & booting was successful too. But no matter what I cant login into mi account or can skip login.

Yes, im using xiaomi.eu rom 6.12.1
Try my method if you came from cm13/any aosp/cm based rom:
1. Clean install miui rom using mi flash, so you need fastboot rom. Download here http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
China rom recommended.
2. Then after comple flashing, boot phone to bootloader , then unlock bootloader.
3. Reboot phone, let it booting. It takes 15 - 20 minutes. Then your device will show MIUI wizard, just complete it. After that, do some customization into your device.
4. Reboot to bootloader from adb: "adb reboot bootloader"
Install twrp from bootloader, i'm using dadi11 twrp, link on my signature. Then boot to twrp, do not boot to system or your device will bootloop, because you're still using official miui rom.
5. Usually twrp can't decrypt data on latest rom dev MIUI 8, just press cancel if you facing it. Do factory reset from twrp to get rid from it, then select "reboot > recovery", do full wipe (cache , dalvik/art cache, system. data), then "reboot > recovery" again
6. Install any custom miui rom like xiaomi.eu, epic, miuipro, etc. Wipe cache & dalvik/art cache
7. Reboot system.
8. Done.
No error or any pop up error for me.

The thing is that the couldnt check security error is due to locale settings.
Use the required locale and also login through Mobile number in Xiaomi EU.

Has latest kernel ,and all is working including slimport and camera laser autofocus .
Battery life is great for me .

3. flash using twrp open gapps arm64 for android 6 , pico version

maybe. we don't know. it was my suggest. you see , lineage os unofficial was moved in general from forum admin , so i didn't want to suggest a new thread where it could be a problem.
besides he made it correct, he set the devdb information so it appears in rom section :good:
And since he is the only one and slim doesn't have a official thread in g4 he can make it more fancy
he can put logos, pictures...etc. Maybe he got bored haha, but its working from what i saw when i flashed it.

I can say , yes you have Privacy Guard manager , It must be enabled from Developer Option .
I did not encrypted my phone , you have to check that .
Many thanks for providing another current MM ROM!!!
I still believe that only MM can work great for this device atm. Until N is officially released by LG at least.

I saw this one time , I tought I forgot the pattern .
I do not keep my phone encrypted . I just need a fast room with a better battery , by the way I'll upload in 1-2 hours a new version that has a faster startup cause I fixed the problem with the flashlight that disappear from quick settings . Wll post here when will be uploaded , now startup speed is very good . I like this rom simpel , long battery life and fast .For me works very good is what I use every day . I'm sorry encryption do not works , I have to see if was fixed in Lineage OS ,and I will fix too , if tehre is a fix .Thanks for testing

I am new to Android and I am astonished that most people using custom roms do not seem to care about encryption. One has to be aware that not using using encryption makes it very easy to download all the data from an unlocked device (just boot directly to TWRP or via fastboot). One normally stores a lot of personal information within a smartphone: photos, contacts, password logins, notes, ... Even if one does not care about this, one should at least consider the fact that one puts at risk the personal information of ones friends, family members or work colleagues (contact information, photos).

@steadfasterX posted a workaround for the CM 13 rom: [TOOL][TWRP ZIP] Lock screen fix for encrypted devices.
It seems SlimRom shares the same code to handle the lock screen for an encrypted device and thus shows the same symptoms. I was hoping SlimRom would have a definitive fix for this issue.
I want to clear my op5 deeply clean and don't want anything in it .
I want the stock experience that i bought it today itself .
I tried several methods but Whenever I update it from nougat to oreo my phone always gets the star wars theme , which mean i am not completely getting back to cleared phone

If you flash a stock rom then no themes will be there anymore if you do a factory reset cause it wipes the data partition and internal memory where xxx Star wars wallpapers are stored

The deepest Chen possible is actually called a mega wipe, haven't used it since I had a galaxy S3 but it literally deletes everything. You'll be without an OS and any files. Sideloading is the only way back from it or official OS via an RUU (computer needed)
Search it on xda if you're interested.
Personally I think it's overkill, a wipe is usually a enough then just clean up folders besides what you're about to flash.

so i tested a lil bit and i found these(i will update):
-cant get contacts from sim card
-kill camera app needs root access but system doesnt have it(or im a dumbass)
-couldnt use "torch" or flashlight
-isnt as smooth as original, cant even use a stable web browser
-battery runs out fast but in extreme psm it returns to normal
-screen corners are somewhat bugged
-random stutters after some time(checked temp and its low)
-cant use sim app
-generally wrost performance
it is really great seeing something like this is being madde, please dont think that i didnt like it, these ara errors i encountered.

İt gives error 7 and also i decided to test crdroid with open gapps pico arm64 and its much smoother(last time used microg) but still has the same bugs

these are supported: m10lte,m10ltedx,m10ltedd,m10ltexx
if you have on of these then check if zip is corrupted (notdownloaded correctly) and/or heck if ou wipe data/dalvik system vendor data (without internal storage)

twrp unofficial 3.6.2_9-0. i can use 3.3.0 but with 3.6.2 it does some operations flawlessly so i prefer it
