So I just found this forum a few days ago. My apologies if this has been resolved somewhere else. I have a S7(G930V) that my friend has locked himself out of. he then decided to reset the phone which sent it into FRP. Is there anyway to disable FRP? i have read several websites methods disabling wifi at a certain point(didnt work), pairing a BT headset(didnt work), and using ODIN( so far no solutuions there). so does anyone have experience with this and can help me out or point me in the right direction. thanks for any and all advice.

I'm not sure this works the way i believe it to however, i've noticed that after flashing the EngBoot kernel then flashing back with a full firmware will bypass FRP.
if this works let us know!!

So I've searched around the past few hours and can't seem to find a solution to my issue. I have a friend that is currently down on his luck and staying at a homeless shelter, he bought this phone because phones are pretty much a necessity nowadays, samsung galaxy on5, trouble is that the phone was locked when he turned it on so he was stuck with a paperweight, it's been a long time since I tinkered with phones but I figured I could help him out by booting into recovery and doing a factory reset. I had no idea about samsung factory reset protection and now were back to paperweight mode. I downloaded jodin3 and heimdall, but it never shows as connected. Can I root the phone while in recovery or load the factory rom so I can get the phone working again? Thanks for any help.
No, the only options are either ordering a remote unlocking service or find a guide on YouTube. The YouTube way will involve some patience and trial and error. Many guides don't specify what update on the phone they are working on and/or will state that their particular method works for EVERY phone. The stock recovery will tell you what update that it is on by the build number. This might help pinpoint which method to work.
FRP = Google Factory Reset Protection
Samsung Reactivation Lock is a different beast.
Which one does the phone have?
Hey there guys hope you all are doing great, so basically my aunt had some problem with her mobile data, someone suggested her to hard reset the device so she youtubed it and successfully hard reset her device but UNFORTUNATELY, she doesn't remember the last email and the password she logged in the device with.
Could anyone of you please tell me how to sort it out so i can get some peace [emoji37]
She just cant stop asking me if it got fixed or not.

Search on Youtube, it worked for me !
I had this issue as well. I bought a used phone but it was FRP protected. The only way ourmt was calling up the guy and asking him to log in. FRP is present in place to prevent misuse. And while various YouTube videos will show you bypassing it, Samsung has been repeatedly patching it.
From what I can understand, a sure shot way would be to install a different ROM on it. However with no custom recovery, maybe that's a wee bit more difficult. You could try to use Odin to re-flash a stock ROM. Let us know if this works.
I was trying to bypass the frp because my friend forgot his email and i did a reset on the phone without to know that is being locked on the gmail account. I tried to bypass it with some guides so i used a combination file and after flashing the stock rom. But now i stuck on the binary mode.
My device is samsung s8+ g955u from ATT. I tried multiple files so now i m confused. If anybody can help me just i need to flash it with the stock rom and get out of the binary mode.
Thanks
The PDA is FA70_G955USQU4ARE1. If you need more information please let me know.

There are many guides across XDA and google on this topic We have a wonderful search bar at the top of every page that is pretty useful once you get to know it...
i did a lot of research before. i m like 2 hours testing firmwares etc. with no luck. if you know to help me i would appreciate it.
Hello everyone,
Im in a bit of a pickle and hope someone here can help?
bought a g930p off second hand site, but when got home to fire it up there was the google reset protection on it (FRP), thought no hassle ill just wipe the phone and why not updated it to the latest while at it, so grabbed the latest files (8.0) and flashed the lot with odin, silly me thought this would just clear the phone totally including the FRP, anyway back to stage one of a phone that i cant use,
what ive tried:
z3x tool (asks to start adb, have adb started from platform tools dose nothing)
tried downgrading to 6 to try the OTG cable trick, wont let me downgrade
ive tried a few methods on here as well, but none seem to work anymore, so dose anyone know how to get past this with 8.0 installed ?
Thank you
Also i see there is a twrp for the Exynos version, is there version for the Qualcomm (g930p) version and would that help removing the FRP ?
Guess i should follow up on this, I ended up taking it to a phone repair shop, i asked how he did it and he didn't want to tell me.
So i guess this post is for anyone searching for a solution, wont find it in this thread sorry.

Well what they do is flash a modified SBOOT or Aboot file with adb enabled (because when you're on the setup assistant thats not enabled; you have to go to Developer Settings and blablabla and offcourse that's impossible at this time) then use Z3x to disable frp.... other method used is flashing combination firmwares (these are special FW that are used by the Samsung Engineers that comes with ADB and other usefull things for debugging, but make the phone unusable for everything else) and then the same thing using Z3x or Octopus Box; but I really don't know if theres a Combination FW for Bootloader 8.
Given a J5 2016 by my dad as part of inheritance of estate items. Thought I might as well use it as a backup but I have no idea what account my relative used. It wont get past FRP. Android recovery is reporting:
Samsung/j5xnltexx/j5xnlte
7.1.1/NMF26X/J510FNXXS3BSH2
I have spent days trying videos and guides that seek to use various talkback menus and get a javascript enabled google session. I have also tried without success to find a combination file for J510FNXXS3. I think it must have been a very recent update which has locked the BL at a version where there is no workaround?
Is anyone able to offer ideas please?
