Hey y'all - I recently rooted with AndroMAN's method. Now I'm curious as to which system and manufacturer apps are safe to uninstall/delete from our device.
So far I've gotten rid of the following with no obvious ill-effects (yet):
Lenovo ID
Lenovo Weather
Lenovo Weather 3x2
SHAREit
SYNCit HD
Any other thoughts?

As my info android 9 (pie) not support Andromeda-substratum them.
I change my navigation using theme.
If i get tomorrow update of android P can i have to uninstall andromeda-substratum theme as no support in pie update or if i m not uninstall theme (navigation gesture theme) can it take me up to reset phone
( Same will happen when my old MI A1 Get android 8 1 update .i have to reset my phone for update)hope it will not happen with asus.

I work for a school and we need this tablet to run on an older version of android for certain app that we use. It came with Android 9 shipped out of the box. Can we possibly downgrade to earlier versions? How can I go about doing so? I haven't been able to find reliable apk version 8 installer. I saw that the SM-T290 was released mid 2019 and was wondering if it would still be possible to go on android 8 or 7 even if it was being shipped with version 9 from the factory.

In android 10 root is a joke.
You can't even mount system as read/write even with root! This is a new 'security feature' of android 10...
If you want real root with full system read/write access it's better to stay on android 9 IMHO until somebody figures out how to disable this shared_blocks 'feature' of android 10
Ok I figured it out. I have not tested it on Samsung devices yet. Works fine on my new Xiaomi though:

Some of my apps are started to stop working since they need at least android 8 while my p10 lite has android 7. When I try to update it from the system menu it says there are no updates available. How can I manually install at least android 8 or any other more recent android on my phone? Where can I download those androids and how much safe are they? Am I going to be able to use the official android from the Android website or should I trust some modified android versions developed by enthusiasts?
