(Rooted) Which System Apps Would/Can We Uninstall - Thinkpad Tablet General

Hey y'all - I recently rooted with AndroMAN's method. Now I'm curious as to which system and manufacturer apps are safe to uninstall/delete from our device.
So far I've gotten rid of the following with no obvious ill-effects (yet):
Lenovo ID
Lenovo Weather
Lenovo Weather 3x2
SHAREit
SYNCit HD
Any other thoughts?

All apps working in multi window on a 5.1.1 rooted tab pro 12.2 without xposed

I recently dug out my tab pro 12.2 and bought the Samsung keyboard for an absolute steal. What a combo! Really enjoying the android tablet as a laptop.
Anyway... my tablet is rooted and on 5.1.1. After I updated to lollipop I lost the ability to multi window all my non-samsung approved apps. I've recently discovered and installed multi window commander which has finally enabled them all again! There's not been any mention of this app in all the forums etc that I was trawling for help so this info may be useful to someone out there!
Other apps didn't work for me and I didn't want to go down the route of deodexing / xposed etc so this worked out great!

How to upgrade apps as in Lenovo k8

I am looking for some apps to make my phone look like Lenovo's k8

Samsung Galaxy A2 Core Android 8.1 Go Edition

Hello All, I have a Samsung Galaxy A2 Core A260G/DS with android 8.1 Go Edition. I believe this phone is intended for the Indian
market. I can't add widgets to this phone. There are a few widgets already in the phone but I can't add any more. I go to the
Playstore and install them but they don't appear in the widgets list when I open it. Is this a limitation of Go Edition Android,
or is there another way to add widgets? Do I need to root?
Any and all help appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave.
Hello, have you solved

Yoga Smart Tab

Hello,
So I got a Lenovo Smart Tab (yt-x703f) and really want to flash TWRP to it, so I can flash LineageOS rom, but it seems like there's no support for it, or even a subthread on XDA.
(I tried various twrp images)
Anyone got some experience with that tablet and have something working?
Cheers
For some reason this device gets the silent treatment on all fora. I can't figure out why, this could be a great multimedia device with some adjustments. batt life is great as is the sound. Screen is ok ish and the speed needs to be tweaked, but no one is willing to tweak
You can root the device and even flash a GSI on it. Tested myself and everything is working

Not sure if we are talking about the same device but lenovo does not support their mid tier devices with OS updates and would like to install a bloatless OS also pie is really dated and wondering if i will run in to issues with app compatibility. There is also that issue where it won't run HD in netflix because netflix is a static app and can not be removed and reinstalled. Hence bloatware and would love a clean google experience.

Flashing a GSI might help if the device supports Project Treble. Basically any device launched with Android 8 and above should support Project Treble.
Hi, I have a Lenovo Yoga smart tab (YT-X705L) and I want to install a new rom on it. I’m not an IT wizard so I need help with that. Would you find anyone who can give step-by-step instructions from start to finish with download links.
And if you can find experiences on how anything works (which is GSI). Thanks in advance.

Hello @mrfreakFIN . I have made a detailed thread about flashing GSI on this tablet. Check it here

Lenovo m10 plus FHD (2nd gen) - TB-X606F - Android 10 Issues?

Has anyone successfully upgraded TB-X606F to Android 10 and encountered any issues? There are several threads on the Lenovo forum, suggesting the following issues:
- Notifications not working
- Widgets not updating
- Netflix not able to play in HD
- Face unlock over sensitive
- Apps crashing
I've bought this as a xmas gift so wondering whether there are likely going to be issues with upgrading.
Is downgrading to Android 9 as simple as using the Lenovo recovery tool and placing it in the program files directory? Does anyone have source URL's for old versions of stock ROM's?
