Hi people, I tell them I come from the 2.1 and did wipes cache and devil and restore only the system and the phone restarts when you play from the gallery to a video and also when I run a game such as asphalt 6, and when I listen to a mp3 with the application of stock. There is a patch for that problem?
Thanks ...
I do not play games, but no such an issues when play music (my music- wma 64kBps) or video recorded with the phone video recorder itself.I did not check converted video.
I made a small search on some of the forums here and I didn't find anything similar to my issue. It's my first time posting here, so I'm not very sure if this is the right place to open a new thread for my issue.
I am very basicly familiar with smartphone terminology, so please excuse any such misuse or any providing of unnecessary information. I also might be repetitively descriptive.
Phone: LeEco Le PRo 3 Elite (x722)
ROM: EUI 5.8.020S (preinstalled from Bangood)
Software used: MX Player
My issue: can't play videos in HEVC 10-bit (Main 10 profile). Why?
Now I'll try to be more descriptive.
Whenever I try to play a video in HEVC 10-bit (Main 10 profile), the screen colours during playback will go mostly red green blue, etc. I used this website- jell.yfish.us (you can google to see if it's legit) - to download each sample for testing, while using MX Player with the HW and HW+ decoders. What I noticed was that the phone would play without a problem any HEVC 8-bit (Main profile) video from those available in the above site, but it wouldn't be able to reproduce colours normally, as I already said, even with the smallest in file size HEVC 10-bit video. Even when selecting the SW decoder (which I suppose stands for SoftWare decoder?) on MX Player, the phone would struggle a lot and playback would lag considerably.
On the other hand, I have my Xiaomi Mi 5 (Standard), which has the same Snapdragon 820 chipset, but a slightly worse (?) CPU according to GSMArena, while running on a MIUI 9 Global 8.3.29 rom. So, this phone would play flawlessly, again on the MX Player app (HW decoder), almost any the HEVC 10-bit video sample included in the aforementioned website. Only with the exception of those videos with an overall Bitrate over 250 Mbps.
My questions are:
1) Why is LeEco x722 in the above condition, not capable of playing any 10-bit HEVC videos, while Xiaomi Mi 5 is totally able to play them, when both phones use the same chipset, which supports H.265 codec playback?
2) Is there any possible way so that x722 can be able to play these kinds of videos?
Just because a phone is capable of doing something, it doesn't mean it can do it natively. The x722's camera is capable of recording 60fps too, but you'd need to activate the feature with special code (perhaps through a Magisk package). The OnePlus 5 can stream HD footage but can't do it through Netflix unless you mail your phone in for OnePlus to enable Widevine DRM on it.
I don't know any specific ways to get HEVC playback to work, but you could try switching to a custom ROM like LOS.
Install MX Player

Hi! I have the exact same problem - same phone, same rom. Were you able to find a solution? Have you tried custom roms? I'm pretty content with this rom, but if custom rom will fix this problem, I'll look into it.
Try to use genesys 26S, or stock eui 6 rom (4pda link), or search aicp build with working l1, or just try latest los 16
I've never developed a custom ROM, and would like to have one developed for the H96 Max +. The box has a RK3328 CPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. The current ROM is based on Android 9.
I have 6 of these boxes and Logitech C922 Pro cameras and would like to use them to video conference link several locations. I have tried using Zoom, Hangouts and fb Messenger to create video calls, but although the video is fed, the audio both from the camera's built-in microphone and the audio from the remote device do not go to the TV (connected with HDMI).
My research has led me to conclude that the problem is that Android TV does not have video input support, but that could be added to the ROM by someone that knew what they were doing (obviously not me ).
Is there someone that I could send the current ROM to and that would be able to tweak it to produce the desired result? Of course I would pay for this.
Cheers
Just got redmi note 7 so getting used to OS etc.
I also installed the gcam from this site.
I notice there is a screen recorder when playing games, I'm not sure if this is part of miui or the XDA gcam. I tried it with game but it didn't record audio, can somebody enlighten me if the recorder is part of miui or gcam and how to enable audio if possible when recording?
Hello xda developers, i have been trying to screen record on
SM-T295 (Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2019) using the inbuilt screen recorder but its not there, i installed a third party screen recoder but it doesnt work on alot of websites. Please is there a way to get the inbuilt screen record app or is it that the Tablet doesnt support screen record app? Is it possible to install a custom rom that have default screen recording?
I don't know anything about the in-built screen recorder, but I've been successful recording (via mirroring) whatever happens on Android using FOSS tools on the desktop to mirror Android sound and video over Wi-Fi as shown below.
Whatever shows up on Android (audio or video) can usually be captured on the PC using these general purpose FOSS tools.
