dbrand skin combination - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Accessories

So I have a coral blue S9+. I want a dbrand skin, but I am not able to set my mind on a combination. Can anyone suggest any. Screenshots would be helpful.

I'm in the same predicament. I feel like the new black camo would look really nice with the S9+ though. Then there's the mahogany wood that's also nice looking. I'm curious to know which one provides more grip though

Got this one finally.

All the skins have slightly different textures, but grip is gonna be similar between them.
I went for concrete on mine (with the carbon fibre as a spare when this eventually wears out!)

Matte Black or Black Carbon.

If you are looking for grip, than black or red dragon. I have camo and bd and 2nd have much much better grip.

Just got my matte black camo skin today. Super easy to install, and fits perfectly. Makes the phone slightly less grippy (the skin in a little slippery) but looks fantastic, covers up the pink (lilac) back.

Burgundy-Red colored back cover for arc looks like original !!

i bought on ebay for $13 an original looking like 1:1 Burgundy-red colored back cover with matte surface. it also half plastic and half rubber like so it feels really smooth and nice with a good grip in your hands.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/250889041995?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
now i also bought a white one with the same matte rubber surface which also looks like the original one xD
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Matte-White...010?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e6b12c8aa
i put it on my gorgeous Pure White Arc S and it looks nice.
what do you think guys?
It looks great!
I've found the burgundy red (and a shiny white one) awhile ago too on Ebay and couldn't resist, so i did the same huge investment as you
I've got a silver Arc and it looks just as good as on your white one.
It looks good, I also ordered the red one a week ago still waiting for it to arrive.
How is the fit? Does it wiggle at all or does it snap on perfectly like an original?

fits perfectly. its really looks 1:1 like the original one.

i like
Is there any chance that this is actually an original?
Will post pictures when I get the red one for my black arc
Here is Mine Black to white
But Burgundy red ! i think much better ...
the thing i find interesting the most is that these are not OEM back covers but they look 1:1 like the original ones and fit pereftly AND there is a color that doesn;t exist as an OEM color which is the frikinly cool BUrgundy Red back cover.
Could be awesome if new colors will pop up and even front covers as well especially if the front covers will have the same rubbery material as the back covers.
then we could have out sexy xperia arc have better rubber material all over it like the new xperia s =D
I hope the rubber covers don't get dirty to easily. Is the grip very good? I don't like a glossy plastic battery cover, too slippery and I don't like to use protection cases for phones since they are bulky
The rubber covers have a good grip, but yeah, they do get dirty easily; that's why i now switched back to the glossy white one, in combination with my original silver front it's not that slippery.
To be honest, the original silver back cover works the best, but hey.....i'm into 'looks' sometimes

Love the look of the glossy one that came with the phone but indeed is wwwaaayyy to slippery!
I went from a Motorola Droid to the Arc so it was very hard to adjust to the weight let alone a rubber battery cover to slippery glossy.
I bought the matte rubber cover (Black) and haven't looked back since

[Q] Anyone have the official Asus Travel Cover?

The material is made of TPU. Last time I used a TPU case it felt like silicone but with more rigidity. Is the official Asus Travel Cover the same? What does the material feel like? Is it soft like rubber or cold and rigid like hard plastic? Does it feel like it's as cushiony as silicone?

It's not cold, and not as soft as silicone (I have on my phone, i.e.). I really like it, it is nice to the touch and doesn't slip when you hold it (but silicone holds better).

But it has no magnets to be fixed when it is closed, right?
And if you open it, can you open it so wide that it can touch the back? Thanks

It has a pretty rubbery feel and yes, it can be folded all the way to the back . I got the baby blue color but am now having post purchase regret.. Should have gone for the bright orange which will look so nice contrasting with the black tablet! Haha
Thanks for the responses guys.
How flexible is it compared to silicone? Does it have a shiny finish or did they rough it up so it has a matte finish inside and out? I'm trying to determine what it would feel like in the hand as TPU alone doesn't really tell me what the finish is. I've seen TPU cases that look glossy and some that look matte. Does it kind of feel matte and smooth like a mouse ball? I know it's probably not going to feel as smooth as silicone but it't not going to grip as much either which I kind of like it having less grip. I might have to get this case.
What about the thickness? How thick is it? 2mm? Like if you look through the speaker cutout you can see how thick it is right?
But it has no magnets to be fixed when it is closed, right?

Nope. This much I do know, it has no magnets which from what I'm reading is kind of a bummer to everyone because:
A) It can keep the cover closed when you put it in a bag or something.
B) It can utilize the magnetometer to do cool things like put it to sleep and turn it on depending on the cover like a smart cover.

I'm torn between the whitish color and the dark gray. Probably end up going with the whitish but the gray just looks more professional. I pretty much only want the official case because it has the Nexus 7 branding and dimples all over it.
EDIT: Oh and I heard people complain about the power and volume buttons. They said they couldn't feel them. I feel them less with a silicone case on, but I still feel them. Is it true that you can't feel how much pressure you're putting on them? I don't want to be overpressing the buttons. Since it's a more rigid material I would say there seems like some truth to this?
It has a matte finish. Dull. At least the gray one does. It's the thinnest case for the N7 I believe. A little thicker than a tpu phone case. Very soft feel to it a little grippier than the stock back but not sticky at all.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
Lol why would you like the dimples on this case? I like the Nexus branding on the back of this case but certainly not the tiny holes spreaded throughout the case.
And yes I couldn't really feel the physical buttons when pressing. I mean I could feel them but pressing them a little bit seems to activate the buttons already.
I think the dark gray case looks nice too but a vibrant color like bright orange won't hurt too. Haha

[Q] Is white or black more prone to scratch

I am waiting for the Note 4 to come out in my country so I haven't seen them in real life. Currently I am thinking of going for the white or the black one. Since the metal frame is coloured as the rest of the phone, I was wandering if the black one is more prone to scratches or maybe more that the scratches being more visible on the black one? I am also wandering if the back on the black and white differ when holding the phone, one being more slippery than the other?
The black one is non-slip and soft coated, while the white one is hard and slippery.
The white certainly isnt hard and slippery at all, thats nonsense.
Unless your country makes a different backing than the units released in my country. I noticed no notable difference between black and white backcovers myself. Except the colour, obviously.
of course not..the material they are made of is same ..only colour is different.
scratches depend on your usability
I have both and I think that the black one is better build then the white. More solid, well builded and not slippery at all.
The back of the white one is not slippery at all.

A lot of reviews do mention that the black has more grip to it, whether it is all in the mind or not I don't know!
Interestingly I had a Galaxy Tab Pro in white and when I exchanged it for a black one I immediately thought how much better it felt on the back.
Maybe there is a slight difference in the plastics but it's only a theory, I can only go by my experience too.
Kinda off topic here but I urge everyone to buy it in Black. The contrast of the color against the metal sides is just gorgeous. Not quite as apparent on the white model.
Both have a great grip and I wouldn't imagine dropping it easily. That being said my previous device was an M8 so............
I find the metal sides more apparent on the white =p
The white is worse.
Sent from the TermiNOTEr 4!
Eh, but it's like being the second man on the moon if there's a difference at all, the difference isn't big at all in terms of grip etc. Personally I didn't notice anything. But it clearly isn't slippery at all.
I've got a white one in a black case. The contrast between the black and white is nice. Before putting it in a case, I didn't notice it being slippery. But then this thing is so big, I was being very careful with it.
I was originally planning on getting black, but the Best Buy 200 dollar trade in expired on 11/1, and all they had in stock was white, so I ended up with white. I suppose that I could bring it back and trade it for black when black comes in, but I am getting used to the white one.
They're both beautiful devices. As I mentioned before the black does look a tad bit better though in my opinion. Plus I can imagine the white one getting dirty pretty quickly.

Surprisingly enough, the white one doesn't get dirty :good:
It is very interesting that a few people here find the white one more slippery than the black for some reason. I am looking forward checking this out by myself but I hear that the Note 4 will be out here in Iceland at the end of the week.
Regarding the scratches I would have thought that they might be more apparent on the black metal frame than the white one but that might not be the case either. I hear that the black one tend to surprise people for being more appealing in person because of the metal frame than expected. I am leaning a little towards the black one now.

both are gorgeous in person especially when naked, and it really just boils down to your own preference. the 2 colors are available from my carrier and white was just too beautiful in or outside a case. the black looks nice and is the best looking black Sammy phone i've seen, however, inside a case, it looked to me as similar to all other black, older phones.
P.s. the back of the white is not slippery at all, but despite having the same material as the black, i think this thread has influenced my brain to think the black cover is softer than the white's
I think they may have applied some sort of anti-dirt coating on the back cover of the white variant, which makes it more rigid than the black one.

I tried both phones and they have same materials applied on the back cover!
EXCEPT the white note 4 is more stunning! and by the way, the white is not prone to dirts!
im so impressed!

No fingerprints

One of the many things I like about this phone is I have no fingerprints on my screen. The phone I had before this one was terrible about fingerprints. I was always cleaning it. Thank you Nexus.
Yeah, they moved them to the backside

Some of us didn't make the mistake but it was the only option as carriers only offered the phone in midnight blue. It was either that or wait longer [emoji14]
Buy a case or if you prefer to not use a case then get a dbrand and you won't have any finger prints in the back. Win win.
By the way, tip for those getting screen protectors. Get a tempered glass, plastic screen protectors love fingerprints and oil smudges.

Have you found one with a good fit? The bevelled edge of the screen is really nice, not sure how a glass SP will interact with that. Also, I would hope that the glass screen protector isnt fully cut out for the speakers, i.e the glass completely surrounds the speakers from all sides. Does such a protector exist?

Tempered glass ones are also more likely (though it's not a guarantee) to save your screen in event of a fall. Usually if I see a broken screen with a glass screen protector on it, when I pull that off, the screen itself is fine. The plastic ones however... I see them with broken screens all the time.
@rootSU: Haven't specifically looked for any myself yet, as I use a rugged case. However, I would imagine the Otterbox Alpha glass will probably get it right. If not them, then zNitro.
I actually love my blue Nexus . As for the finger prints scotch tape removes them quite nicely. But most of the time my device is in a clear case.
I chose the Midnight Blue since I had the White 2013 Moto X.
My White Moto X got perma stained in many places from skin, dirt, oil and more. I had it in a case 70% of the time, but didn't help.
I like the way the Cloud White looks. But I'm in the minority for liking the Blue. Not only will I not get a perma stained back on my new Nexus. I actually prefure the looks of MB on this phone.
I also have a Supcase Hybrrid coming in the mail so prints and smudges on the MB will be moot.
TL;DR:
Owning a White phone isn't as cool as you think and has cons in the long run.
Agree, love my midnight blue. Fingerprints aren't an issue if you just care for it and wipe it down once in a while. :good:

Is there any cases like the peel for the OnePlus 5

I think the title says it all, if you don't know what the peel is it's just a really thin case.
Aren't those Dbrand skins thin?
I'm interested in something thin too. Don't like cases in general (because they are bulky), but this phone is so damn slippery.

Agreed on the phone being too slippery. It feels super nice in the hand though so a super slim case would be nice!

Either way, I think dBrand is what you're looking for. I checked out their website and you can customize the way you want the skin to look (to a certain extent).
I did not put phone in case because it si slippery, but to protect camera. I got Nillkin super frosted shield, it is not too bulky, and protect phone well, I hope.
