[REQ] Power off - Standby - Soft reset with small app.

Hi all,
I do not believe that! There are hundred's of applications of all types and for all uses which all good users of xda create continuosly, but there is no one capable to create a program like "psshutxp" where there is a button "power off" that really works!
I do not understand why who created psshutxp are not capable to solve this bug, which is commonly present in other phones.
I think that it would be very usefull and not so complicated to realize, for who is capable to program, to create a working program on the dimond; if possible it would be useful to associate a soft key to quickly open it, and close (or reset, or stand by) the phone.
What do you think is this possible ?

theres no such software to power off device..
u still have to hold power button to do that
the power off in the shutxp is simply put the device in standby mode to save power but that will kill some process for example music player wont play song if u dont use headset
so there is another option to just put the screen off

Thank you very much Nvidia, finally i have found what i searched for many weeks! This is great, an unknown french guy (thank you cca) have made the "perfect shutdown": similar to psshutxp, but with power off working, more lightweight, without the dangerous hard reset button (also without timer, but i don't need it). It as the possibility to set the function of hard power button.
It is only in french language at the moment (we know, french are patriotic ), but i have edited the png icons of the skin to erase french text, and edited the xml file to change the language of setting menu.

Just replace the corresponding files in the TouchOff program folder.

Thank you clue, my translation was in italian.
To be honest this app is "almost" perfect because it has only a little-big problem: when open it has a little delay (about 2 - 2,5 sec) that is slightly annoying. I hope the autor can solve it (i write him a mail).

Hey Tnyynt, any chance you can do the exact same thing but make it Reboot instead of Shut Down?

touchlockpro has an actionscreen with the things you ask for

Is there a standalone CAB for only the TouchLockAction utility? I read through that entire thread and can't find one.

Normally it works in combination with TouchLockPro, but indeed it can be used standalone for row 2.
You can install TouchLockPro, copy Windows\TouchLockAction.exe to another place and deinstall TouchLockPro. Then you have your copy

So it's just a standalone .exe that requires no supporting files or "installation" per se? Cool!

HD Soft Reset exe from HD Tweak
Maybe this will help.
This is the soft reset app from HD Tweak
Copy the HD Soft Reset.exe to Windows folder, an put the shortcut where you like, maybe \Windows\Startmenu\Programs\

camera does not work in Touch Flow 3D beta 3??

I have just installed the Touch Flow 3d beta 3 on my X1 and they have fixed a lot of features such as album does not longer freeze and landscape mode is fine.
But what about the camera??? then I push the camera button nothing happens.
Is Camera disabled in beta 3?

probably, but have u tried the on screen camera button... press and it should click

Yes and nothing happens. Funny because in beta 2 camera worked

in the screen or the hardware key
anyway enter windows and u fine camerarunner copy to the memory card then rename to camera then paste in the windows again and try this

I was forced to reflash my X1 with the original software in order to rid of beta 3

Low earphone sound !

Hi guys,
I have problem with my phone's ear phone , I cant hear caller's voice ,the voice level is so low (volume level during a call is 100% but ) Is there a hack? tweak or software to increase earphone sound more than normal?

No prob, I replace the stock one on every ROM I flash because stock volume sucks.

does this only increase the earpiece volume or does it also increase the speaker phone volume

Hi Bruce, just a quick tip - why not replace the stock one on the ROM BEFORE flashing it? See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=377514. It's a great program!

I know I'm doing something wrong - just not sure what. When I unzip the file on my desktop - all I get is an excel file ?
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong ?

My volume is fine, but the Fm radio volume is low. Will this solve that too?

[Request] remap hardbuttons for lockscreen music

I recently sold my iPod because my hd2 does the same job.
But there is one big disadvantage of it:
I cannot navigate through tracks without pulling the phone out of the pocket.
Would it be possible to remap hardbuttons to back, play/pause, next while music is playing and phone is locked? Unlocking or waking the phone should restore the original buttons.
That would make the hd2 into a real good music player.

well im using vol up/down keys to navigate tracks forwards/backwards in cyanogenmod 7
but yep it would be nice to take it further, it should be possible to use all hardware keys except the end call button when phone is locked

I use sense roms so i didnt know about. Maybe this could be ported to sense too. Would be a good start.
But how do you change volume then?

Lol, IKR? Do you guys still have your HTC headphones that came with the set? They have back, play/pause, and forward buttons on them.

EDIT: Then again the buttons only work if you're using a Sense build. CM7/MIUI builds are incompatible.

to skip a track you hold vol up or down, to change volume u just press it multiple times (keep tapping till you get your desired volume) works pretty well. As for the original headset, music quality wise its not my cup of tea. I either use my big headphones or my powerful in ear buds

You guys can actually do that with an application, i guess its on the market.. its called Button Remapper, i guess.

im using the beats controltalk with cm7, where i use the center button to pause(just one click), skip forwards (two clicks) , and backwards (three clicks).
It is ment to work with iOS, but it works on good cm7 except the volume control.
Maybe its possible to implement something like that?

thx. it works with my sense build. I almost forgot about the headset.
Unfortunately the headphones are not in-ear.

[Q] Back button changed to a HOME button

Hi,
I saw some thing on Youtube where the bloke had changed the back button so it worked as a physical home button. I have searched this but can not find any one making any reference to this.... how is it done please?
