[help] "firmware upgrade encountered an issue"

I was trying to install an Official Stock Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 firmware, from SAMMOBILE Link for the firmware I tried to use: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=26516. So while flashing it with ODIN, I think it just randomly disconnected, but that just bricked my phone. I don't know whether it is a soft brick or a hard brick, but this is what happens to my phone, every time I turn on my phone whether it's done normally, the download mode or recovery mode method I will be stuck on that screen.
So now I typed in the error on Google to see how it can be fixed. Link to the method to fix the error: http://androidcentral.us/2013/09/how-to-fix-firmware-upgrade-encountered-an-issue-on-kies/
Firstly, my computer (running Windows 7 ULTIMATE 64-BIT) can detect my phone, saying the drivers have been installed successfully. However KIES doesn't detect mine. Anyways I still try to do this method where I have to go to Tools -> Firmware Upgrade and Initialization on KIES. I type in my model name: GT-I9505, that works, now I have to do my S/N or Serial Number: RF1DXXXXXXX, so when I press OK it says GT-I9505 doesn't support 'Intialising', so I am stuck have no idea what to do.
Also, while flashing I tried repartition my S4, to remove all of the stuff I had, none important, except my music which I transferred to my PC. Solved, just flashed Official firmware, it now works.
Just separately repartitioned my S4, it works but S4 is now stuck on boot loop, so have to flash a 4.4.2 Official Firmware.

Hi,
Can you get into recovery?
Can you still see your phone in odin?
If so , disable kies (task manager) and try to flash the firmware again.
Wipe data and cache before and after flashing firmware.

Samsung Galaxy On5 Soft-Brick Troubleshooting

Hello people, I'm just going to get straight into it... FRP blocked my custom binary on my Samsung Galaxy On5. I am new to FRP and I wasn't being careful when restoring a backup via TWRP. Now I can only boot into download mode and OEM Unlock is disabled from what i can tell. I've tried Odin i can kinda flash the AP file it doesn't work obviously but it does mark my system as official for some reason so FRP isn't triggered but then it tells me to use smart switch to restore it via emergency restore. I can also flash the CSC and CC back to get to square one. I've tried Smart Switch but i don't know my serial number to do the initialization i have an idea of what it might be since i do have a TWRP backup of my phone on my PC so shouldn't my serial be there? Any idea to fix my phone or is it fully bricked?

[SOLVED] S7 Edge G935FD BootLoop / TWRP Splash Screen Freeze.

Update: [SOLVED]
Thanks GOD .. Kies Emergency Firmware Upgrade Solved it. Same Smart Switch Method.
Help Me please. I flashed TWRP to my SM-G935FD with odin preparing to root it.
But i found the internal storage is 0 bytes.
so i can't find zip file to flash supersu or mount storage to PC.
i found a solution, it was by changing file system and go back to original file system.
i tried this, i changed it. it typed Done. but nothing shows of back or home softkeys of TWRP.
So i restart my device to TWRP again but it freeze in splash screen.
I tried Smart Switch it give me message that it can't recognize my device.
Odin give me FAILED (DeviceInfo).
Any Solution? or My Device is dead now?
When using Samsung SmartSwitch it is normal that it says it does not recognize the device after you have tried to root it and failed.
You need to put the phone in download mode and use the "Emergency Software Recovery and initialization" in the Smartswitch software. You will be asked to input your model number and the serial number. It will then return it to stock.
You do so at your own peril.

1)To be say honestly downgrading is not officially supported by Samsung also But yes you can successfully downgrade to 6.0.1 from 7.0 (I personally downgraded to 6.0.1 once successfully due to issues on stock 7.0)
2)You only need to follow the guide as instructed carefully Also the version of 6.0.1 MM you will choose to downgrade to should be latest dated (I mean the latest 6.0.1 firmware for your device and country available on Sammobile.com casually)
3)Hence you can find some instructions within my own Post in which i mentioned step by step installations instructions (Go To Page No 65 And Find My Post In Reply To Okiera29 There Regarding Downgrading To MM From Nougat)

Ok thank you for your reply, I understand. I also had some trouble with drk verity fail issue when I factory reset because I run into issue with my efs, it was failing to boot ,but after searching the internet I found out how to fix the efs issue and then I flash stock over and then run into trouble with drk verity fail issue, but found a script to bypass this error ,but I read that whenever I flash or factory reset I will run into this drk verity fail issue again, so I must flash this script to bypass this error.
So my question after all i have explain is, will it be a problem to downgade to 6.0 because of those previous issues ?

1)Can't say exactly without trying or downgrading firmware as i said already neither samsung nor any community will officially support downgrading of firmware as it may cause various baseband and imei related issues due to downgrading of bootloader
2)But for safety you can take full Nandroid backup of your current stable rom using TWRP and Try to downgrade firmware at your own risk

What version of Smart Switch offers initialization for SM-N920C Note 5's? The latest version doesn't include initialization anymore at all, and an older version I tried stated that initialization was not supported for Note 5's.
All right, I'll see what i do.
Thank you very much.

Smart Switch error message

Hi all, i have the Samsung SM-G935F model and i wiped and factory reset via recovery mode and now i am getting the following message on my device;
'An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software'.
I opened the Smart Switch software on my PC and selected the 'Emergency Software Recovery' option where it now asks for me to enter a recovery code from the previous PC to run emergency recovery, and here lies my issue. I do not have a recovery code from a previous PC so how do i get one or repair this device without one, if possible.
