wifi calling help - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a T-Mobile note 4 on the N910T3UVU3EQ12 build, and I just recently reflashed stock firmware and did not reboot, then flashed twrp 3.2.1 and rhen magisk, did full reboot then but wifi calling is not working and when I click on it in settings, it says unfortunately settings have stopped, should I have let flash of firmware do full boot then flashed the rest or what?

[Q] Can't get non-stock rom to boot

I recently bought a Defense Mobile (Radio Shack Prepaid, on store closing sale) GT-i9300i with the intentions on repurposing it on my ATT plan.
It presently has the ___AND1 (I can't remember the rest) baseband, 4.3 Stock rom, TTT region (trinidadtobango).
Anyway, I was able to use towelroot V1 to root it, install superSU from google play, intall superSU binary, ODIN TWRP or CWM, and boot to such , but then, after installing CM 11 or 12 (the unofficial ones by Rox), it reboots to the download screen, "normal boot failed"
FWIW I can ODIN the factory image back and then it boots back up, albeit 100% vanilla.
Any idea what needs to happen to make said roms work? Or did I somehow get one with a locked bootloader?
I went ahead and took the OTA update to 4.4.4... and rooted that. Same result, the only change being the installs from TWRP show as failed and the bootloader locks to the point of download mode not even working from button combo. However, I could get into TWRP and reboot to download mode from there, which did work, so I could odin over the newer image.
What gives?

Bootloop even after flashing Stock in ODIN

Hello,
I had not updated the ROM on my phone in quite some time so I recently decided to update everything. I flashed an updated modem thru ODIN and then updated to some Android 5.0.1 and 5.1 roms.
I ended up having some odd reboot issues so I decided I would flash completely stock rom and go from there. I downloaded the most recent stock rom for my phone from SamMobile and flashed it thru ODIN. ODIN says passed and everything looks to have worked.
The problem is my phone will start and boot up to the point where I set up Android (choosing language etc) and then the phone reboots. This happens everytime.
Any advice or suggestions? I thought flashing stock would fix my issue!
UPDATE:
I flashed Stock thru ODIN again and it seems to be working now. I will update the post again if anything changes!

Question about Odin, flashing a firmware, user data and encryption.

Hi guys, long story short, I decided to go back to my stock carrier ROM (Canadian SM-G935W8 variant) to get VoLTE and WiFi Calling to work. I expected it to be a very outdaded build and I was surprised when I saw it has the November security patch.
So yeah... I installed it the usual way: Flashed with Odin, then I installed TWRP, No-Verity-Opt-Encrypt and finally Magisk, and everything's working great so far
Here's my question:
When a new firmware is released, will flashing it with Odin delete my files and apps? Will the partitions be writable or will I need to re-flash No-Verity-Opt-Encrypt and format my Data partition again?
Thanks

Note 3 SM-N9005, Can't Boot to recovery.

My N9005 is unable to boot into recovery, whenever i try it will start to boot and then just restart itself.
When trying to reboot normally the cyanogenmod loading screen is very laggy and it just reboots after a while.
occasionally it will start normally (1/20 tries).
I tried to reflash twrp with odin but it makes no difference.
Cyanogenmod version 12.1-20161016-NIGHTLY-hlte.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Flash stock rom via Odin to get a working phone.
Or restore your Nandroid.
Reflashed stock rom and phone was working perfectly. stock recovery was also working.
Then rooted with CF-autoroot and it went well.
Then i tried to install TWRP custom recovery and it still won't let me boot to recovery.
Android version is 5.0 if that matters?
Edit: Managed to make it work with another version
Did you find a solution? I have thee same issue
Thanks
HELP with n9005 custom recovery
HI i have the same problem with n9005 i have rooted but whenever i flash twrp or cwm i end up with no recovery..phone shows set warranty but recovery msg then reboot to system...any help?

You are probably flashing the wrong TWRP .

good evening everyone,
I come back to this forum because I have this beautiful phone that I can not update the android version 9.
On the recovery I can not go beyond the version 2.8.7.0, if I try to put a more recent version it remains in bootloop even if I restart manually.
To know that I have the HTLE model, the only thing is that I replaced the screen with a Chinese model.
then I put the original version back via odin and it goes back to version 5.
I am completely desapointed, I do not know what to do to put it under android 8+ !!!!
PLEASE HELP
