Well rotation in new google maps now work, GPS fix seems to be faster. However it looks that now market is not showing all applications - could anybody check this? For example if market shows you the Doodle game?
Gps didnt work for me in previous builds. Now i get a fix quite fast and it is very accurate. Also camera now works for me...
Checked market i can see doodlejump
Does someone using this build have colored camera view? I still can only use 3MP en de camera view is black and white (but it does make colored photos)
Just though I would ask if anyone has modded the .apk file to allow us desire people to use video chat out of the back camera ?
Many thanks

Installed this and videocall button exists, but it's late here and cant try it.
I swear I once got the camera working on the previous version. I don't know. Might of been the iPhone instead.
I would love to have the video option as well. It's silly that just because of no front camera the Desire is not supported. There still could be use for the video function
I have google talk 2.3.4 installed and the video works there, but still would love proper Skype support also...

skype 2.0 and no signout
This skype 2.0 doesn't provide any "signout" feature like it did, and not it just sits in the notification bar until I go to setting/application and force it to close.

Dear all, since S4 has an infrared port, had also the intention to port Mobeam (a barcode manager and beamer) to the S4. However, in this first release, they did not integrate it to the device. I therefore would like to ask if anybody is using Mobeam, or any similar software that does the same thing? Any ideas or recommendation are warmly welcome. Thank you

Got milk, m8, thanks
I was looking for the mobeam feature too! Kind of a disappointment.
Thats a shame :/ I prefer the good ol' Nexus Gallery over Photos app. Also coming from an LG that has a stock email app, it would be nice to have one like that so I dont have to use Gmail for everything.
Does anyone know how I can get the old Gallery app installed again?

Find the apk and install should be that easy
Do you or anyone have a link for the apk? Searching through Google just gives me tons of broken or spam links

I agree. I love google photos, but just to see what's on the phone only, it's nice
to use a different app (although Google Photos is organized a lot better now).
I use QuickPic as well.

BTW this has been google's push for some time now. i personally don't care for the photo app as it makes it too difficult to get to recently taken photos, images on the device, but i like its features and integration with online services.
Or get the Cyanogen gallery ... http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/cyanog.../cyanogen-gallery-2-0-0-android-apk-download/
This link has quickpic with nagware removed

You mean like Snapchat? Text over a screenshot or drawing like in MS Paint? Just use a picture editor. Go to the Play Store and search for picture editor and find your favorite one. Dozens of options.

true ,but i was just thinking maybe there was one specifically for screenshots. (like the one in note and huawei mate phones)
but i think there is nothing like that for the nexus xD
i will stick to the editors like you suggested.
thanks for the feedback.

best choice trust me , owned galaxy's (s2/s5 note 4)
jumped to the nexus series in 2015 got nexus 6 loved it up until i noticed it had terrible banding, still used it for about 8 months , recently got the 6p (thankfully no banding) nothing beats stock android on nexus phones.
Screenshot crop and share on play store, just search it, some Roms even have it built in, can write, blur things out, all kinds of stuff
Skitch. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.evernote.skitch

I use keep. I share the screenshot to keep, then write with the pen tool, and then share the note... which is shared as an image. Pretty effective way IMO if you don't want to have any extra apps lying around. You have to tap the share icon twice (one for the screenshot, another one after doodling) but you're gonna have to do that with pretty much every app.

Didn't even think to do this, saves installing another app.. gotta get used to it, but pretty useful.
Thanks
