Dear all, since S4 has an infrared port, had also the intention to port Mobeam (a barcode manager and beamer) to the S4. However, in this first release, they did not integrate it to the device. I therefore would like to ask if anybody is using Mobeam, or any similar software that does the same thing? Any ideas or recommendation are warmly welcome. Thank you

I use touchsquid and it does it's job.
Search touchsquid on the play store you will find it- I can't Post links.

You can also change your UAString in the browser to Froyo-N1 to get the download link they SMS you to work.
about to get my free copy
i got the link in a message and picked t-mobile then it said there are no games available for your mobile
its not working for me I get the text I click it and it says click my carrier I do and it says no downloads are available.

open up your browser. now, type “about:debug” and hit go. click “Settings”, and scroll on down to the bottom to reveal the “UAString”.
you now change your user agent string — the bit of info that tells a website what type of device you are running — to “froyo-n1”.
Anybody wanna share the link they receive by text message or the direct download link that the OP mentioned ? I am not receiving the text lol

That link didnt work for me gave me another error.

Update: that link got me a version of Hero of Sparta and it runs smoothly however there is no sound coming out of the speakers at all (I obviously checked the volume rockers lol) The Media Volume is crossed out.
I had asked them for a Nexus One apk so that might be the reason, already put another request for a Galaxy S apk letting them know I have a Nexus S we will see what they say

So I asked for a Samsung Galaxy Vibrant link then for my "other phone"

It shows up on my market with an install button, strange.

Same here just downloaded and installed with no problems.
Google it and says it works on android 2.1 and higher so as long as your not on 1.5 you should be fine.

Wth?! It won't come up in my market or with the link(not compatible ), could it be my rom? I'm using an aospMod rom 0.9.9.1 froyo . Never had this issue. Anyone mind attaching the file so I can install.

well i installed this but didnt use it more will test and report
btw i like the ui but some changes can be done to make it better
and yes why this app needs useless permissions like r/w contact data,send/receive sms and take pictures?

It would be nice if I can record and save as a ringtone for my phone. Some radio stations make worldwide new productions so I don't want to miss the chance ))

I'm trying it out right as we speak. As stated above, great concept. If I can save songs like I can on my portable xm radio, say goodbye Opie and Anthony (sorry guys). Interface is easy and user friendly. Very nice so far.

When I was in Korea I remember Samsung was advertising being able to see, use and control the phone through the windows application, but it was a windows only application. I can't remember the name of it (it's not mirrorcast or sharecast). And was wondering if anyone know about it. A google search has come up with nothing.

Thanks, I've used Airdroid before, but it's not quite what I was looking for. I had that app before and it was pretty seamless. Kies seems to be mostly just access to files and stuff.

I actually have Teamviewer, great app, but I'm looking for the other way around, Control Android through windows not windows through android.
