I might be interested in this if you would give us some details.
Why the app need permissions as writing sms and read my contact data?
well i installed this but didnt use it more will test and report
btw i like the ui but some changes can be done to make it better
and yes why this app needs useless permissions like r/w contact data,send/receive sms and take pictures?

It would be nice if I can record and save as a ringtone for my phone. Some radio stations make worldwide new productions so I don't want to miss the chance ))

Unable to download on my Droid X fails every time

I'm trying it out right as we speak. As stated above, great concept. If I can save songs like I can on my portable xm radio, say goodbye Opie and Anthony (sorry guys). Interface is easy and user friendly. Very nice so far.

screen rotate has problem when using the Camera + Left button key. It doesn't rotate back to portrait mode. Yes I had the latest build.

Just a question, not that it matters much. The default clock on the home screen is a certain size (small), but if you add a new one via widgets menu, it's a huge clock. Is it suppose to be like that, or is this just a minot detail to be worked out later?

I'm always up for testing new versions, though it might be less stressful to hold off and release a fixed version (as much as I hate waiting).
If you do decide to release a version that doesn't have everything working, you might want to note that in the file name.
Example: mssmison_rogers_system_(MARKET_NOT_WORKING).img
That way there is no excuse for ridiculous whining and complaining.
I'm quite happy you came back mssmison. I'm also glad that you noted you were taking off some tonight so I didn't sit up all night anxiously awaiting the new great release.
Would it be a simple deal of switching the system files to download an app from market and then switch back, or is it more than just the system file and would you have to delete widgets to go back and forth? If I just had to change out system files to get a market app no problem, or find the .apk to download and install it.
Does that mean flash and the differen't profiles to choose for your screens and perspectives? Maybe a list of what it does have working would be easier, or just figure it out ourselves when it's released. I'm quite excited

Unfortunatly no, the rogers builds only work with data.img that are created by them. The builds are quite different.

Try a fresh data file. If it still does it report back with the logcat data.

He's saying that Market doesn't work on the Rogers build (which he hasn't released yet).
This is a post for my friend Jonathan, he has made an awesome app that will scramble your friends brains. It's free and on the market place. He doesn't tell u how to do the trick, but with a little practice and a guess he will email u the directions. See his email below.
Hey guys, this is my first android app. It's called magic poker flip, which is a poker magic property app. You can use it to flip out others selected card by touching the screen. Show it on a party will be cool. You may watch my video here.
Now the android version is on android market as a free app. It's now v2.0, and tested well on 2.1 & 2.2. Not sure about 1.6 & 2.0, but seems can't work on 1.5. The secret of the trick is hidden inside the app, maybe you can guess by yourself how the trick works or try to find the solution somewhere in the app.

It's two month after my app was published, and tomorrow will be my 21st birthday, so I think it's time to reveal the secret to all you guys, no matter you've solved it or still stuck in it or planning to download it.
The solution of the trick is hidden in 'tutorial', you can enter and reverse your phone to check it if you can't figure it out.

yes, you can play it with your friend after you get the right solution to the app, like i did in the video.

Why is it he uses the computer to pick a card? I don't really get it.
I've tried pointing so the camera can see the card and I've tried saying what the card is, the app just gives a random card :?

When he finishes his exams, he is going to work on a WM version, but has quite a bit of coding to do. Wish him luck on his exams and I'm sure we'll see Magic Poker and others like it this summer. Hey guys, Biff here. I happened upon a theme a few weeks ago that I really really liked. I don’t often do themes or porting of them and release them, but we don’t have this on the HD2 and I felt compelled to do so. I went ahead and checked with @ChrisSoyars @ackprash and @wootroot and they gave me the go ahead. So I’m honored to present to you Mau5 for the hd2. By no means is it perfect, but I think its good enough to release. Anyways, you likely voided you warranty long ago, so if your phone explodes… NOT IT!

I'm currently using it on exchange 2007. Haven't tried 2010 yet. Gonna migrate the office after the new year.

I heard of Iris but for me it's.. well.. not that great. So I've created my own app called Risi. You can try it for free on the Android Market.
It would be great for me if you could test it a bit and give a little review of what Risi does well and things that are still missing. I'm going to include that new features then to make it an real Siri-Alternative for those without an iPhone.

i don't know for some reasons its not speaking ... but replying fine!
I think it's a great idea and works but the engine it's a bit hit and miss. Even if the voice to text is recognised the suggestion sometimes is a bit random. Why not use Wolfram engine? No guesses why Wolfram apk hasn't been updated in market for a while.

The problem is that the chatbot is before that technology so he have to decide witch informations have to be fetched. But thats what I'm going to fix today. Please stay tuned

i was about to ask what dpi was your sensation. i'll look into it soon! hopfully i can some out with a new update to fix that

Its fine on my S2.
My sensation has a screen resolution of 540×960.
It could well be that the Rom at the time may of needed a Market Fix.
Bear with me, I'll try with another Rom that's now installed.

OK yes it's fine.
I was running a CM9 nightly at the time, but now it's downloaded just fine with another build.
For reference I've downloaded it twice at different resolutions, 240 ,212 with no issues.
On a side note, check out this game:

i'm upto version 1.0.5 on my release and this time i fixed a lot of texturing stuff and added new features. enjoy!

Dosent work that great hard to explain what it does but the char. moves with the slightest touch of the screen. the char. turns completely around. Also every time i complete that pesky leadbolt ad the selection "added pose mode" still disabled. guess you only care about money

haha, it's not that i only care about money. but money helps. to keep this application free i implemented ads, i rather not make this only paid.
this is also the first time i'm using lead bolt. i also filed some complains about not completing even tho the user has completed the ad. i'm looking into using something else that is more reliable. they did email me back that it takes a few days for the ads to fully implement into my application. don't know what that means but the app only has been out for 4 days.

Yea I'm quickly realising that now. Admob doesn't support "content unlocker".. my next choice I'm looking into is tapjoy? I wonder how that company is

Or use any simple ad service and create your own unlock content after clicking an ad. i made a crappy one before but ditched it... got alot of hate mail and comments
I went to install this, but then realized: why does it need the following permissions?
- Coarse (network-based) location
- Fine (GPS) location
- Read phone state and identity
This looks like a fine app, and I would like try it out and help with its development. However, I do not want my privacy invaded. It's a live wallpaper. It shouldn't need these permissions. The only reason why I think you would need these permissions is if the ad-providing plugin required them, in which case I'll skip on this app. Please remove these permissions.

yup your right, it is from the ads. the only permission i need for my lwp is internet to access the skin.
i am looking into using another provider. i'll be posting my results once i have found something suitable and reliable.
