So I have a P8 Lite with TWRP 3.1.1 installed. Everytime I touch any button in recovery my phone just restarts. Its working fine with TWRP 2.X.X. It would seem that this is caused by my phones vibration not working. I can touch the area around the buttons without restarting but when I touch any button which normally causes vibrations the phone restarts. Are there any workarounds for this?
I have the same problem, but I haven't the vibration active. It just reboot. The same thing happen with twrp 3.0. Did you found a solution?

Assus Zenfone 5 with unlocked bootloader
Hi all,
I'm facing a curious issue with my Oneplus 5. I bought it back in July on launch day and though I have rooted and used custom ROMs on all my previous phones, I never got around to doing it on my OP5 (never felt the need, no availability of root early on etc)
I started facing a problem with my mic not registering in Google Assistant/Alexa and while on speakerphone, all while sound recording works fine in recorder apps.
Tried attempting to reset the cache from recovery,
1. On pressing vol down+power while turned off, I get nothing. No vibration or anything.
2. On trying to reboot to recovery by turning on advanced reboot, I'm greeted with the 1+ powered by android splash screen, followed by a black, blank screen. Have to long press power button to get the phone to boot again (takes quite long).
Could anyone help if they are aware of a similar issue, or any ideas to correct the problem? I'd be really grateful.
I'm on latest Oreo Stock update.

Downlod the zip , extract it connect the phone to pc with pressing volume up and then use the tool for flashing up .
Yesterday I've received a notification about the new version of Magisk Manager, clicked "install", the installation process has started, there was a warning "Boot partition space insufficient" (it used to be before I guess). The phone went to reboot, but turned off instead (or just screen off?). I holded the power button, but the phone did not turn on, pressed a combo of buttons, the phone turned on and got into endless boot (got stuck on logo). I rebooted it with buttons again and enter into TWRP, charge level was 68%. So decided to Wipe it, but after a few seconds the touch screen stopped responding so I couldn't. Tried twice, the same issue. Decided to reflash the firmware, turned the phone off via Power Off in TWRP, after that the phone stopped turning on (completely!). Does not react at all. Not charging, no leds, no vibro.. completely nothing. Seem to be hard bricked or even dead, don't understand why.
Update: no drops, no heats, no water.
I guess it's dead on flashing Magisk, not Manager, but I am not 100% sure.
but why touch stopped working? it might be a hardware problem and soft is jist a coincidence

I really have no clue why. Each time I tried to reboot and enter into TWRP, the touch was working for the first X seconds, 5 maybe... the strange thing is the phone was cold at the time.
Hello everyone,
Yesterday I got my hands on an old Huawei P8 lite, it was working fine but I intended to root it and play with it a lil bit. The phone was running android 6.0 and I needed to rollback to 5.0. I flashed the rollback ROM without any problem, but then I went to flash the B170 ROM and after it was done, the phone's screen won't show anything. I can see the backlight turning on, and the phone is responsive, since it vibrates whenever I try to turn it on (the boot sound also plays) and the LED turns on whenever it's charging. However, the screen shows nothing but black. The boot logo won't show either. I'm afraid the LCD screen was damaged, but the phone didn't really suffer any kind of physical damage... it happened right after flashing the B170 ROM.
Does anyone have any tips? I've tried to boot the phone either on recovery mode or fastboot, but the screen it's still black, so I can just assume it's booting on that mode even if it doesn't show anything.
Thanks in advance
Hi everyone. My Mi A1 started presenting this weird issue. The touch screen becomes unresponsive when I lock the phone. If I press power for some seconds to reboot, the touch works again. But if I press power button, or wait until the automatic lock, the touch stops. I can unlock the phone by fingerprint, the screen turns on, but the touch get unresponsive until I reboot the phone again.
I already tried to root, flashed a lineage rom, flashed the latest stock rom available, flashed a old stock rom also, but it keeps the same behavior.
Also, when flashing, the touch does not work on TWRP. I had to connect a USB mouse to perform the processes to flash roms.
Any clue?
