Hello,
my problem started trying to flash Elite-ROM. I got in a bootloop but I could get out by restoring the data from the backup I made in TWRP.
After getting back to my ROM, many functions didn't work on the phone like calling, camera and many apps, and the NFC sign keeps blinking on the status bar, even that it's not on.
Then I tried to flash the original firmware but I couldn't find it so trying to be a smartass I found out that changing the OEM info to the available firmwares could help
I tried that and now my phone is "bricked" if I'm right about the naming.
here are the only 2 things I can get. one by default and the other when restarting the phone holding the Volume down button.

What is really interesting that Huawei multi-tool by team MT detects my phone...
But it says that my bootloader is locked and when I try to unlock it it says that there is a problem with the USB conncection
PS: I tried to boot into recovery but it just won't.. :crying:
My phone is WAS-LX1A (middle east) and was running EMUI 5.1, build number was: WAS-LX1Ac18
Is there any way to fix my phone?
update: after poking around in the multi tool by MT, I could unlock my bootloader, now I have access to TWRP and the corrupt backup that I have
Update 2: now I just trying to download different firmwares and will try to flash them, I restored the stock recovery to be able to install the firmware via the volume and power buttons on startup...
I can't find a service rom for your region!
In theory you can re-brand it to C432 (Europe) and you can flash original service rom.
Steps:
1. Install TWRP
2. Download OEMinfo for Dual SIM WAS-LX1AC432 - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-k_1rnfFeEvdWxZZE1tNWwwOHM/view
3. Extract the 3 files into folder called "DUAL-SIM-OEMINFO-C432"
4. Put the folder "DUAL-SIM-OEMINFO-C432" into "SDCARD\TWRP\BACKUPS\YOUR_PHONE_SERIAL_NUMBER"
5. Must be: "SDCARD\TWRP\BACKUPS\YOUR_PHONE_SERIAL_NUMBER\DUAL-SIM-OEMINFO-C432"
6. Download ROM Warsaw-L21_C432 - http://androidhost.ru/JT
7. In the root directory of your SD Card create a folder "dload"
8. Put the file UPDATE.APP and folder WAS-L21A_hw_eu (contains the file update_WAS-L21A_hw_eu.app) inside your dload folder
9. Must be: "SDCARD\dload\UPDATE.APP" and "SDCARD\dload\WAS-L21A_hw_eu\update_WAS-L21A_hw_eu.app"
10. Reboot into TWRP, create a backup of your original OEMinfo
11. Restore TWRP backup: Go to TWRP -> Restore and select a folder "DUAL-SIM-OEMINFO-C432" then restore the OEMinfo partition.
12. Go to TWRP -> Reboot -> Turn OFF you phone
13. Once the phone is turned off hold all 3 buttons volume up, volume down, power until you see EMUI update menu
14. An automated system update process will begin
15. After successful install your phone will have Dual Sim and STOCK WAS-LX1AC432B182
Thanks a lot, I'll try it later today.

So after getting stuck there, I decided to restore the stock recovery because, with TWRP on my device, I boot to TWRP recovery whenever I press the + and - volume buttons with the power button at the same time.
After getting the stock recovery the installing process started but it was stuck at 5% until it restarted and got a boot loop for like 4 times. Then It did a system reset on boot, after which I got back to the corrupt ROM...
Maybe I'll try the same thing with different ROMs and their OEMs, do you have other ideas?
@Aalesund
Thank you bro !! you saved me, I've been suffering for 2 days with this till now.
After the reset, I just turned off the phone and tried again, it just worked
the past 2 days were really long and full of suffer, thanks to you I have my phone back.

Now you have working WAS-LX1A European region C432, right? If everything is successful your phone will no longer be Middle East region. Will be European region but it doesn't matter
The phone info should be WAS-LX1A with firmware WAS-LX1AC432B182.
BTW, I was going to show you another Unbick method via Huawei Multi Tool.
Download if you need in future ;p

I tried doing that, but with the OEM version that I've downloaded, it couldn't find all the files for the unbrick..
Thanks a lot again, I'm saving the files and thinking about uploading them to my google drive to never lose them again and to never be afraid of poking around with my ROM
PS: changing my phone's region to EU makes it only less suspicious with my name

now I have the build WAS-LX1A (C432), and everything is just perfect.
Thanks a lot for your help

Hi all!!!
I'm screwed!! :crying::crying::crying:
I think I bricked the phone!
Please help!!
Backups files I already have
A-WRP is correctly installed and I made a full nandroid backup.
B-I have a full partitions backups made with Partitions Backup and Restore App (Root access required). I backup all the partitions, all of them in raw mode. All the files are *.img ready to flash with fastboot.
C-I have a full B132 ALE-L21 stock ROM that was working perfectly before.
The problem
1-adb is not recognizing the device
2-fastboot is not recognizing the device
3-I cannot enter TWRP
4-Huawei EMUI 3 buttons (volume up + volume down + on/off button) function doesn't start neither (I'm trying to force the update to B132 ROM)
5-The phone enters directly to Rescue Mode and says:
error! Func NO : 8 (hifi image) Error NO : 1 (Security verify faild!)
{

}
So the phone is still working and I got this RESCUE MODE screen but I can't do anything when this screen is displayed.
Any idea? What can I try?
Please, I really need your help, anything you can imagine to try please, let me know!!!
Thanks in advance!!!
Update:
Finally I was able to enter in FASTBOOT & RESCUE MODE following this procedure:
1-Turn off the phone
2-Connect USB cable to computer but NOT to the phone
3-Press the volume down button and hold It
4-Connect the USB cable to the phone
5-Ready, the phone will turn on automatically in this mode (DO NOT press the power button)
So, now I have fastboot but I CANNOT flash the f.....ing HIFI partition
I tried:
-fastboot flash hifi hifi.img --> command not allowed
-fastboot flash radio hifi.img --> command not allowed
-fastboot flashing unlock --> command not allowed
-I tried to enter recovery mode. I have TWRP installed, I can also flash It again with fastboot, everything good but can't access It after that!!!!
-ADB is not working
-I flash a B052 ROM, then put B132 Update.app file in SD Card root\dload and try to force update by pressing volume up + volume down + power, nothing
-I flash the B132 ROM again , then put B170 Update.zip file in SD Card root\dload and try to force update by pressing volume up + volume down + power, nothing
-I try fastboot update update.zip but It says no android-info.txt nor android-product.txt
-I try to create a flashable .zip file for fastboot but It requires .sig files for the boot, recovery and system partitions
-HiSuite open ups automatically on the computer but can't connect to phone, the phone is not recognize by HiSuite but in windows says Marshall London Bootloader Interface. I can change that to Huwaei HDB Interface, Android ADB Interface, etc. etc. in device manager. A couple of times in the phone screen refreshes saying "Rescue mode enter.." but no way, HiSuite can't connect.
I tried lastest HiSuite version v2.3.55.1 and v1.8.2.206, nothing.
So, I have fastboot, what else can I do? Can somebody help me build a .zip file flashable with fastboot?
Is there any other fastboot or tool (I tried mfastboot too) that may allow me to flash HIFI partition?

Hi,
Do as rubentkato77 told, unlock bootloader eve if it tells you that is already unlocked. Be sure you have it unlocked by you, then follow the procedure as rubentkato77 told you. It is working like a charm. I have done this already for quiet some time.

First and foremost, this is P8 Lite section of the forum.
Did you followed unlocking bootloader procedure for P8? Be sure you have unlocked bootloader, otherwise do it again and retry to flash those 4 files extracted with "Huawei Update Extractor" from FULL APP ROM image specific for your P8 GRA-UL00.
BTW, I have used Fedora Linux v23 to make all the Android moves, never Windows because it fails big time. +1 for Linux :good:
Sorry mate, I don't own a P8, but a P8 Lite. Cheers.
I have the same error How can i fix it?
It's a pretty straightforward guide. Just follow the guide carefully and you'll be in no time rocking with B521.
This guide is divided into 5 sections. Follow all sections in the order illustrated in the guide.
Optional Step (Recommended) : Flash Stock B510
It is generally a good idea to start from a completely fresh base. Although not necessary, you will however, loose all your data and apps. Backup what is important before following.
Flash Stock Recovery (see Step 4 below)
Download B510 from here: https://mega.nz/#!NYgUFYLA!wEEf0f3w_6wxbzr9TYTvTquGBUhsMmRG53G8RSp2xMQ
Copy the Update.APP in the downloaded B510 ROM to dload folder in the root of your external SD card.
Power off your device.
Hold Volume Down, Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously until you see the Honor logo. Your device will now automatically flash the whole Update.APP
Step 1 : Flashing Custom Recovery (TWRP in this case)
If you are already on TWRP, then skip this section. Before you follow make sure you have installed Huawei HiSuite and ADB/Fastboot Tools. If not see the links below:
Huawei HiSuite: http://consumer.huawei.com/minisite/HiSuite_en/
ADB and Fastboot: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0LG0AQ4V9FpcXRmV1BmRk1Ta1k
Extract the ADB and Fastboot zip to any preferred location.
Instructions
Download TWRP 3.0.1 Recovery. Head to this thread for download links: http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-4c/development/recovery-twrp-3-0-0-0-huawei-honor-4c-t3349495 Copy the downloaded recovery to the folder where you have extracted ADB and Fastboot tools.
Power off your device.
Now while holding Volume Down button attach your device to computer via USB cable. Your device will now automatically switch to Fastboot mode.
In the folder where Recovery and Fastboot tools are present, hold down left shift button and simultaneously press Right mouse button. In the dropdown menu, select Open Command Window here.
Switch to the Command Prompt window and type:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery_name.img
Replace recovery_name with the downloaded recovery's file name.
You have successfully installed TWRP :victory:
Step 2 : Enable Local OTA Update option in Marshmallow
In Marshmallow, Huawei has removed the option to flash OTA updates and Update.APP through the Local Update. Lets get that option back!Credits to this section goes to OXALIS at 4pda.ru for making the patch to enable Local Update option in Huawei Update app.
Download the Huawei Update patch from this link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0LG0AQ4V9FpUXUybmFZeTVXNDg Copy it to either your device's internal memory or a SD card.
Power off your device.
Hold Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously to boot your device to recovery.
Install the zip downloaded in the first step though TWRP.
Step 3 : Removing Root
If your device is currently not rooted and is completely stock, you can skip this section.
Before you follow make sure you have installed Huawei HiSuite and ADB/Fastboot Tools. If not see the links below:
Huawei HiSuite: http://consumer.huawei.com/minisite/HiSuite_en/
ADB and Fastboot: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0LG0AQ4V9FpcXRmV1BmRk1Ta1k
Extract the ADB and Fastboot zip to any preferred location.
Removing Root
Download Stock Marshmallow boot image from here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0LG0AQ4V9FpY1lBVF9ubFdOSXM Copy it to the folder where you have extracted ADB and Fastboot.
Power off your device.
Now while holding Volume Down button attach your device to computer via USB cable. Your device will now automatically switch to Fastboot mode.
In the folder where Recovery and Fastboot tools are present; hold down left shift button and simultaneously press Right mouse button. In the dropdown menu, select Open Command Window here.
Switch to the Command Prompt window and type:
Code:
fastboot flash boot stock_boot_mm.img
Open SuperSU app and click on "Full Unroot" in Settings.
Your device is now unrooted.
Q. Why not just click the 'Unroot" option in SuperSU app?
Although that would work as it does the same the same thing described above i.e. replace patched ramdisk with stock backup, if the backup isn't present (such as you made a Factory Reset), your ramdisk will remain patched even though unrooted. It's good idea to revert to Stock boot.img if you ever need to root again.
Step 4 : Flashing Stock Recovery
It has been literally mentioned a thousand times that you can't flash official ROMs and OTAs through a custom recovery (such as TWRP). You have to be on Stock Recovery.
Before you follow make sure you have installed Huawei HiSuite and ADB/Fastboot Tools. If not see the links below:
Huawei HiSuite: http://consumer.huawei.com/minisite/HiSuite_en/
ADB and Fastboot: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0LG0AQ4V9FpcXRmV1BmRk1Ta1k
Extract the ADB and Fastboot zip to any preferred location.
Instructions
Download the Marshmallow Stock EMUI Recovery from here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0LG0AQ4V9FpbldwYWExOGNTUTQ Copy the recovery to the location where you have extracted ADB and Fastboot tools.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery stock_recovery_mm.img
You have successfully installed Stock Recovery :victory:
Step 5 : Updating to B521
Download the B521 OTA zip from here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxgU9yQssu83NTJ6eFBseS1ET3c/view?pref=2&pli=1 (Credits goes to vit755 at 4pda.ru)
Rename the downloaded zip to update.zip and copy it to dload folder in the root of your external SD card.
In your device, open Settings and tap on Update.
Tap the Menu button and then Local Update
Tap the Incremental Update option.
Your device will now reboot to install the update.
Tada! You're done! (Hit thanks if you found this guide useful)
It worked. Now on B521.
Thanks bro
Can anyone provide the changelog for this? is it worth installing over b510?
Help pls.. After installing the update using Huawei updater, the installation got stuck at around 92% so I had to reboot my phone, but now it's stuck in boot loop... I tried flashing the stock Marshmallow rom but I keep on getting install error on forced SD upgrade... My phone version is balong right now..
Edit: I flashed the stock Malaysian Lollipop using forced upgrade and my phone is working again
SU and TWRP after upgrade
Can i revert to SU and TWRP after upgrade to b521?

Are you sure you're on B510. The boot image has been extracted from B510 Update.APP so it should work on all CHM-U01.
I'm on BalongC52B311, CHC—U01, Android 6.0. I suposed equal to B510. Isn´t it?

The CHC-U01 will not work. You have to manually upgrade to B510 first.
The most easiest method is to downgrade to C636B330 and upgrade to B510.
Finally, B521

How to Unlock bootloader + flash twrp recovery + root and install SuperSu in Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (Snapdragon) without waiting for permission on the Latest MIUI 8 - V8.0.6.0.LHOMIDG. (as of 22-11-16)
Here you have the step by step procedures to successfully unlock your Redmi Note 3 SnapDragon global variant with latest global stable rom MIUI 8. Please follow the steps carefully.
The rom used for this procedure is the latest global stable fastboot rom MIUI V8.0.6.0.LHOMIDG.
This is the working guide for the Xiaomi redmi note 3 (SD) on latest MIUI 8.0.6.0 as on 22-11-2016. I did lots of experiments, bricked my device several times to find this working guide for latest rom, however you are free to link to this page for reference.
You dont need to apply for official unlocking and wait for a month or more to get the sms confirmation from xiaomi to officially unlock the bootloader, the problem with the official method is many users have reported that they did not receive the confirmation sms from xiaomi, even if they receive the confirmation sms the unlocking process stucks at some percentage and fails to unlock the bootloader. So for everyone here is the easy way to Unlock bootloader + flash twrp recovery + root and install SuperSu in Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (Snapdragon) without waiting for permission.
First of all take a backup of all important files from your phone to your PC before starting. Because all data will be formatted while flashing the rom.
I have simplified most of the procedures and complicated works for this guide. A good part of the credit goes to some other developers because their works were helpful to me for experimenting to find this working full unlocking guide for the latest miui rom for redmi note 3 (SD) as of 22-11-2016.
REQUIREMENTS:
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (SD) Mobile
Micro USB data cable (or) compatible usb cable
Desktop or Laptop (Widows based)
Download all the tools, rom and other files from this androidfilehost folder link and keep all files in one folder for easy access:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=137618Files List:
1. AnF.zip
2. fastboot_edl.zip
3. Fastboot Rom: "kenzo_global_images_V8.0.6.0.LHOMIDG PreRooted by SUBI.tgz"

5. minimal_adb_fastboot_v1.4_setup _working.exe
6. MiPcSuiteSetup_v3.2.1.3111_2717.exe
7. Root Checker Basic v5.9.7.apk
8. SR1-SuperSU-v2.78-SR1-20160915123031.zip
9. twrp-3.0.2-2-kenzo for Redmi Note 3 _SD.zip
10. ADBdriversetup.zip (alternate use, in case device specific drivers are not properly installed)
***Carefully remove your sim card & sd card from mobile (if inserted) before you begin and do not connect to internet until all steps are completed, because the phone would automatically sync with Xiaomi servers at first boot and may cause problems.
Make sure your phone is charged 60% and above.

Note: After that when you connect your phone to the Pc to execute adb commands, a prompt may appear on your phone with computer's fingerprint key, you should confirm it when it appears. In case if you already done this for your computer with proper adb drivers installed, you don't need to bother about this.
Step 2:
DISABLE DRIVER SIGNATURE ENFORCEMENT IN YOUR PC:
You now have to disable driver signature enforcement in your PC, to do this you have to open the settings window by pressing the shortcuts"Windows button + i -> Update & Security -> Recovery -> Advanced startup -> Restart now. Now the system will logout and show Recovery options, from there select Troubleshoot -> Startup Settings in Advanced options -> Restart. Your system will now reboot and show the "Startup settings" screen, a list of options will be available, you have to choose option number 7 to disable driver signature enforcement. Then the system will boot into the OS with driver signature enforcement disabled. After that do not restart your pc until all the below steps are completed, in case if you restart your pc for any reason you need to redo this step again because system reboot might enable driver signature enforcement again. That's it. Refer this video if you need further guidance.
Step 3:
To install ADB, Fastboot and other drivers in your PC:
Install the " minimal_adb_fastboot_v1.4_setup _working " file downloaded from the link I provided above. If any security prompts appear on your screen, allow all prompts.
Install the " MiPcSuiteSetup_v3.2.1.3111_2717.exe " file downloaded from the link I provided above. If any security prompts appear on your screen, allow all prompts.
Install the " MiFLash_v2016.08.30.0.zip " file downloaded from the link I provided above. If any security prompts appear on your screen, allow all prompts.
Step 4:
Extract AnF.zip file and execute the commands:
Now extract the "AnF.zip" file downloaded from the link I provided above. Connect your phone to Pc using the Usb cable. Open the extracted AnF folder and double click on the cmd.exe file, which will open a adb command window from there.
Execute the below command through adb command window to check and confirm the phone is connected via adb interface. If connected properly it should show device serial like "******** device"
adb devices
Incase if your phone shows a prompt for computer's fingerprint key approval, allow it. Then execute the command again. You should see your phone serial number as shown in the image below, which means your phone is properly connected via adb. Incase if the device is not connect properly via adb, disable and enable USB debugging on your phone. If that also helping to install the phone's adb drivers, extract and run the"ADBdriversetup.zip" downloaded from the link I provided above to install the specific drivers for your phone.
Step 5:
Reboot the phone to EDL mode:
Now you have to reboot your phone to edl mode aka Emergency download mode. To do this execute the below command via adb window with phone still connected to Pc.
adb reboot edl
Your phone will now reboot into blank screen or edl mode and new driver named "qshusb qloader 9008" will be installed in your Pc, now only red led notification light will be blinking on your phone. Once the driver is installed properly, the phone is now connected in edl mode. Now close the adb command window.
Step 6:
Setup MiFlash Tool & Flash the ROM:
Open the MiFlash tool (MiFLash_v2016.08.30.0.zip) application you installed earlier, click refresh button and your phone will be visible as port number (ex: COM10) in MiFlash tool. Exe file is in this path,"C:\Xiaomi\XiaoMiFlash"
Now extract the "kenzo_global_images_V8.0.6.0.LHOMIDG PreRooted by SUBI.tgz" fastboot rom file downloaded from the link I provided above. In your MiFlash tool window, click the Browse button and locate the extracted fastboot rom folder. Then select "clean all" button at the bottom of MiFlash window. The flash tool is now configured. Now click the Flash button.
Wait for few minutes for the flashing process to complete, once the process is complete and MiFlash tool window will show task finished. But do not disconnect the phone.
Step 7:
Reboot to Fastboot mode & execute Fastboot commands:
Now while the phone is still connected to your pc, reboot your phone to fastboot mode by pressing Volume down button and Power button simultaneously until you see the boot screen and release, the phone will now enter into fastboot mode.
Now double click and open the cmd.exe file from AnF folder you extracted earlier to open the command window. Then execute the below command.
fastboot oem device-info
This command will show you the current bootloader status. The bootloader status shows "Device Unlocked: False", execute the below command in command widow, it will Unlock the bootloader.
fastboot oem unlock-go
Your device might restart now, if restarts press Volume down button and Power button simultaneously to reboot phone to fastboot mode again to check your bootloader status again by executing the below command. It should show "Device Unlocked: True" in the command window. Which means the device's bootloader is unlocked.
fastboot oem device-info
Now to flash TWRP recovery and Supersu for root permissions, jump to step 8, or if your aim is to unlock the bootloader only, you may restart your phone and skip all below steps.
Step 8:
Flash TWRP:
Now restart phone to fastboot mode by pressing Volume down button and Power button simultaneously until you see the fastboot screen.
Extract the "twrp-3.0.2-2-kenzo for Redmi Note 3 _SD.zip" file downloaded from the link I provided above to the AnF folder.
Then open the AnF folder, double click and open the cmd.exe file, paste the below command in the command window to flash twrp recovery.
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-2-kenzo.img
After flashing the recovery image reboot the phone to TWRP recovery by pressing Volume Up button and Power button simultaneously until you see the boot screen. It will boot the phone into TWRP recovery, on the front screen just swipe the slider to mount system as read only. That's it now to flash supersu proceed to step 9.
Step 9:
Flash SuperSu:
While the phone is in TWRP recovery connect the phone to Pc, it will be detected as mass storage device, just copy the "SR1-SuperSU-v2.78-SR1-20160915123031.zip" file downloaded from the link I provided above to your phone's mass storage device.
On the twrp menu click on Install option and locate the "SR1-SuperSU-v2.78-SR1-20160915123031.zip" to install via twrp, now swipe the slider to right to install supersu to have root access in your phone's OS and then wipe dalvik cache using the button below in twrp.
If twrp shows any read/write error while flashing supersu, on the twrp mainscreen choose mount option and click on system in the next menu, then go back to main screen and try again to install.
That's it, now supersu is installed, to check the root status follow to step 10.
Step 10:
Check root status:
After completing all the steps successfully, reboot the phone into the system normally and complete the initial setup without Sim card, the first boot may take a little more time to boot into OS, In case if the phone stuck in boot screen for very long(10+ mins), go to troubleshoot section at the bottom and start over the steps. Otherwise you are good to go.
Connect device to Pc after initial setup completes, now copy the "Root Checker.apk" file to your phone and install it, open the root checker app and click on verify root, you will be prompted by Supersu for root permission, allow it, your root access will be verified. Voila, you have successfully rooted, flashed twrp and installed supersu on your Redmi Note 3 with latest rom installed.
That's it. Now you are ready to rock.
KNOWN ISSUES:
No issues found so far, in case if you find any issues after successfully unlocking using the above method, kindly let me know.
After successfully unlocking your bootloader, incase if you update your rom via official updates, your will lose root access and twrp custom recovery and may end up with locked bootloader again, if you face this situation by some reason, you may start over and follow this guide from step 1 to revert back to unlocked bootloader. Do not update the rom and turn off automatic updates in settings as a precautionary measure.
Troubleshoot:
If your device gets bricked or Stuck in Boot logo, try this,
Reboot your phone into edl mode by following below step.
If you are stuck on bootscreen, you may not be able to enter into edl mode using the normal method above because of bootloop or Stuck in Boot logo, in that case try this method to enter into edl mode from fastboot, download "fastboot_edl.zip" file from the link I provided above, extract the zip file and open the extracted folder, connect the phone to your Pc in fastboot mode(vol down + power), double click and run this file "edl.cmd", the phone will automatically enter into edl mode if the phone's drivers and adb drivers are installed properly. Now follow step 6 and follow on from this step.
If QHUSB_BULK drivers are not properly installed while the phone in edl mode,
If QHUSB_BULK drivers are not installed while the phone in edl mode, your device may not be visible in MiFlash tool(ex:COM10) even after you click refresh button, in this case open the device manager in your Pc, the phone will be visible as QHUSB_BULK with some alert sign, right click on it and select Update driver software. Then click browse my computer and browse to the location of the driver files in path "C:\Program Files\Xiaomi\MiPhone\Qualcomm\Driver" and proceed and when prompted to Install this Driver Software anyway, allow it and complete the driver installation. Now open MiFash tool and click refresh button your device will be detected in MiFash tool, now you can flash the fastboot rom by following the steps above.
Does this work for Kate version also? OP doesn't specify
Will I lose my warranty by using this method of bootloader unlock?
This method still works for Global Snapdragon phone. Finally got it last night after 2 days of torture (I didn't sleep).
The important part is firstly the image with the modified file you are going to flash to the phone. Here he is using v8.0.6.0 which is the newest (and now last) update for android 5.1 (which is needed, phone will not flash 6.0 without a proper Cache and data clear). I ended up using version 7.3.2.0 which is 1 patch before the version my phone came with (7.3.7.0). Then I replaced emmc_appsboot.mbn with the one from here then flashed the file in EDL mode.
After the flash is done is just as important I found. You place it in fastboot mode (power button + vol down) and run a script. I wasn't able to manually unlock the device via cmd line 'fastboot oem unlock-go'. Instead I found a script that worked from here called 'Root_Folder' (this site also has majority of the files needed). You use the script called 'Root' in the folder to finish the unlock. Notice there is a 'recovery.img' in the folder as well, I replaced it with ZCX TWRP.
Now run through the script after the flash in fastboot mode. Follow the instructions from script, sometimes you take cable out or force phone back into fastboot mode. The key goal here is to have the script boot into TWRP in the end. If this happens you can do all that's needed now.
Another thing I noticed was you have to give debug permission to computer your using and save permission. Debug mode/oem unlock - connect cable, on phone you should get a prompt to accept PC and save permission. If you don't get this prompt make sure you have ADB and Fastboot installed.
Important steps are:
1. Phone connect to computer via debug/oem mode.
2. Flash correct modified ROM with MiFlash in EDL mode.
3. Once flash is done hold power and volume down button for fastboot mode.
4. Run script to attempt to unlock bootloader and/or install TWRP.

You would have to look it up for Kate specifically. If anything at all that changes it's the Image you use to flash the phone.

Don't think so. You don't 'officially unlock it' and you can flash a stock image that relocks the phone automatically.
Thank you works 100% !!!!
After booting to TWRP it's asking me for a decrypt password and I cannot mount any partitions. Then I tried rebooting but phone is stuck on MI logo.

Can you boot back into TWRP? If not you'll have to reinstall from EDL mode and try to unlock bootloader again.
A decrypt password to access any of the internal storage? Did you have a password with last install of MIUI? Also boot into fastboot and see if your bootloader is unlocked with 'fastboot oem device-info'. If your bootloader is unlocked, you might have to reformat data files on phone, which will wipe system completely and remove encryption.
Oh you probably also need to put a SD card into the device to use to flash from, if your flashing a new ROM. You have to wipe main system with advance wipe, wipe everything but internal storage and micro sdcard (in TWRP).

Yes Praw Zoll, you can use this method for your device, I have tested this method working on Redmi Note 3 pro or Kenzo or Snapdragon variant.
You can also refer this miui thread for this same method with images and video, en.miui(dot)com/thread-461694-1-1.html

This method is for Redmi Note 3 pro, (Kenzo) variant.
can i use it for global stable 8.2.3 ??
The heart of this - the unofficial bootloader unlock - are taken from: http://en.miui.com/thread-345728-1-1.html (It's generally polite to link your sources).
This _does_ work on `kate`. However, this is using a modified 'emmc_appsboot.mbn'. If you flash an original emmc_appsboot.mbn, you may well find your bootloader no longer unlocked and you needing to reflash your device back to stock.
Also, for those wanting to use it on kate (because Xiaomi seems singularly incompetent when it comes to supporting the official bootloader unlock for that devcie): your device will identify itself as a kenzo, so you may have trouble flashing things like the 'miuifirmware_x.zip' updates for kate. Also, those 'miuifirmware_x.zip' files often include the emmc_appsboot.mbn, so be careful.
On another note, if anyone has an actual infallible method to get an official bootloader unlock for the kate device, please let me know.
Can I use this method for 2GB / 16 GB version of Redmi Note 3 Pro (Snapdragon)?
Thanks
Works Thanks
Tested On 18/05/17
This method works But You are stuck on a older rom with no OTA/Later Updates. Method Does not work with MM Roms.(Maybe with different emmc_appsboot.mbn it would work.
Some Pointers
I was on MIUI8 before using this.
1. This downgrades your ROM from the latest ROM, therefore Points to follow.
2. Use This Method Instead Works with latest firmware as on date.
Works, Simply Nicely Perfectly Done, Just follow the steps things will never goes wrong. :highfive:

You have flashed a recovery rom and that's why you are in bootloop.
Try to flash in EDL mode a fastboot rom.
PS: Hope you haven't tried to downgrade already because you can loose IMEI and baseband.

Hi
I have bricked my phone with a failed TWRP install. The data partition became corrupted and I need to restore. I have tried to move UPDATE.zip via ADB but phone says not enough space. Should I flash new img files (system, data)? If so, where can I get these? My model is VNS-L22 dual SIM.

Did you try with dload from sd card ? you can try to find a rom with firmware finder-here or from http://pro-teammt.ru-here, its best to download FullOTA-MF-PV version.
You can always try this Huawei Multi-Tool 8
I'm in simmilar situation. Cannot format, convert /data partiton.
Not sure which version of ROM I've had. Probably stock B504 -> EliteROM - fault with boot --> tried app back to stock and now from version from shown by some adb command B130.
Which version should I put inyo dload to start getting back to stock?

Hi dude,
if you try to be a little more detailed
about the recovery you used and the last stock firmware you had
and what you did trying to get back from EliteRom maybe,
I say maybe someone could help you...
Cheers
The thing is that I'm not sure
I've tried so many combination that I'm not sure what was the last.
Last working soft was latest official firmware from huawei p9 lite in Poland - I think it was B504.
Then I've tried to install [Elite ROM][EMUI 5.1.1] Elite ROM v7.7 - it wont boot up, i've get bootloop.
Then I tried to use dload folder to get back to stock - VNS-L21C432B130 it was installed succesfully but system wont boot up - bootloop again.

Ok man i will try to help you but beginning from now
you should do one thing at a time...
Due the fact you tried to flash B130 your bootloader could be re-locked again,
so boot into the fastboot mode and unlock it again... the device should restart in TWRP recovery mode...
Once you're in TWRP tap WIPE > FACTORY RESET > restart system.
If won't boot it need to be unbricked...
PHONE: Unlocked
FRP: Unlocked
In this moment there is no TWRP:
power + vol + = EMUI: reboot, wipe, wipe.

Dude boot into the EMUI e-recovery and do a factory reset + wipe cache..
Doesn't it boot to system ?
It doesn't.
After boot it's stuck on black screen.

Boot into the fastboot mode and unlock again the bootloader.
Try then to reboot to system.
As I said bootloader is unlocked. When I've executed : fastboot oem get-bootinfo i've received: (bootloader) unlocked
when i've executed: fastboot oem unlock "my_unlock_code" i've received FAILED (remote: already fastboot unlocked)
other suggestions?
--------------------------------
I'm not sure if it's a progress but...
1. fastboot: flash working twrp
2. twrp flash oeminfo.img for L21c432 DS
3. restart - auto factory reset
4. Flash with Multi-Tool: boot, system, recovery, cust from b160
5. put into SDcard dload\update.app from b160
6. phone started booting and goes to huawei logo with some shiny effect - and stuck on it .....
What I'm doing wrong?

Seems all good, apart after you flashed oeminfo.img you have to flash custom.bin file together.
(maybe you need the TOOLKIT (take august 2017 release) to flash oeminfo.img&custom.bin files)
This should re-lock the bootloader, so when the process ends, reboot to fastboot , unlock again
the bootloader and forwards with the other steps..
At the end of the whole process reboot to recovery and do a factory reset + clear cache...
"(maybe you need the TOOLKIT (take august 2017 release) to flash oeminfo.img&custom.bin files)" - to do it I have to put phone into ADB mode.
oeminfo.zip I can flash in TWRP.
I don't know how to flash custom.bin

Hi dude,
so look into the zip oeminfo.
If there are both oeminfo.img and custom.bin files
you are ok to flash in TWRP.
( in your previous post you wrote you flashed oeminfo.img file, not flashable zip )
If into the zip there is only oeminfo.img file you need that custom.bin file.
In oeminfo.zip file there is always only oeminfo.img and some other config files.
Every time when I find custom.bin it is always a standalone file. I cannot find zip to flash on TWRP with custom.bin

Don't know dude, maybe you used some wrong files...
This time use this steps:
Install and use TWRP 3.0.2-0 ( this should be Meticulus recovery )
THIS oeminfo.zip file is a L21C432DS flashable one ( took from htcmania site )
The direct LINK to download L21C432B160 update.zip ( using FIRMWARE FINDER )
from with extract update.app and use DLOAD method.
1 - Reboot recovery and flash the oeminfo.zip file.
2 - Once finished the device should reboot to twrp recovery.
3 - Power off the device. Extract the SD card and with your PC format it. ( backup your files )
4 - Create the DLOAD folder in your SD and paste update.app you extracted from update.zip into it.
5 - Put the SD into the device and use three buttons ( vol+&vol-&power ) to start the flash process.
6 - When finished reboot to e-recovery ( vol+ and power buttons ) and do factory reset + clear cache.
7 - Dude you should be ok now.
P.S.: THIS oeminfo.zip is took from @k1ll3r8e personal repo ( can be flashed with the toolkit in fastboot mode )
Unlocked bootloader, TWRP 3.0.2-0 (Meticulus recovery ) installed.
1. - Reboot recovery and flash the oeminfo.zip file. - done
2 - device doesn't reboot, I've rebooted it manually - reboot recovery.
"Your device has failed verification" appeared and device boot into huawei recovery (options: reboot, wipe data/factory and wipe cache).
3. no option to turn off.
4. I've made SDcard.
5. restart by power and vol+ and vol - : installing update.............
6. When finished phone restarted automatically, i've pressed vol+ and got into recovery, done wipe data/fr and wipe cache and reboot ............... and ....................... black screen.
Now I'm waiting to be sure ~ 15 minutes...
Without any changes.
I've tried the same with B130 - same result. From power on there is logo huawei na blank screen with wisible backlight.
Any ideas?

Proceed with point 2....
1. - Reboot recovery and flash the oeminfo.zip file. - done
1.1 - After flash oeminfo.zip go in main menu of TWRP, reboot to bootloader, connect to pc and unlock again the bootloader.
2 - device reboot to twrp.
3. turn off.
4. I've made SDcard.
5. restart by power and vol+ and vol - : installing update.............
6. When finished phone restarted automatically, i've pressed vol+ and got into recovery, done wipe data/fr and wipe cache and reboot and power on there is logo huawei na blank screen with wisible backlight.... again
Everything goes as You wrote...

Hope no dude...
Try the rollback package, maybe something gone wrong going from android 7 to android 6.
THIS is the L21 rollback package (C900B300)
With your PC format the SD card nd create a DLOAD folder.
Extract update.app from the package, put it in the DLOAD folder and do three buttons method.
When finished turn off the device and extract the SD.
Remove the update.app from DLOAD folder and paste the update.app you
extracted from update.zip (B160) into it.
Boot again with three button method to flash the firmware..
The same, reboot to e-recovery and do factory reset + clear cache..
Hope this will work.

Dload method is the best but it will lock your bootloader. Put files in sd card with other phone or sd reader and just follow instructions..

Tell me what model is your P10lite:
- WAS-LX1 (3GB RAM) or LX1A (4GB RAM).
- Dual or Single SIM
- C432 European or other
- What was the last stock android you had: Android 7 (EMUI 5) or Android 8 (EMUI 8)
Also when you boot into Bootloader mode what you see:
- Bootloader: Locked/Unlocked/Relocked
- FRP: Locked/Unlocked/Relocked
Maybe there is a chance to unbrick the phone with Multi-Tool 8.
====
I'm not sure if this helps but just try it:
P10Lite Recovery - ANDROID 7.0 - https://mega.nz/#F!mVYCBSbC!ugGLWVnMQSg9693cDWl0Pw
P10Lite Recovery - ANDROID 8.0 - https://mega.nz/#F!TNQiFDrS!LeWgM5bukSz66UEL5zE1Tg
Flash TWRP and try to install some custom rom
If you had Android 7: fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img
If you had Android8: fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk TWRP.img
or
Flash eRecovery and try to install latest stock rom:
If you had Android 7: fastboot flash recovery2 RECOVERY2.img
If you had Android8: fastboot flash erecovery_ramdisk ERECOVERY_RAMDI.img
Then Turn OFF your phone.
Press and hold VOL UP and connect to PC via USB cable.
The phone will boot to eRecovery.
On the screen press the button "Download and install latest stock rom"
then WIFI will starts and connect to your network and download latest stock rom

So, you have NOT upgraded to Android 8? And you had stock android 7 before.
Here is unbrick package for WAS-LXA1 (Dual SIM, 4GB RAM)C432 with EMUI 5 (Android 7) + Multi Tool 8
Download: https://mega.nz/#!DFhziCjI!c1vkVdcvKj3mR_wBb3Kbe_BAA5HUYaCtJVFLkUt9rLk
Steps:
1. Download the zip file and extract it
2. Boot the phone to Bootloader
3. Install Huawei Multi Tool 8
4. Run Multi Tool 8 and connect the phone to PC via USB cable
5. Make sure you're connected properly (in the bottom rigth corner must says "Connected Fastboot WAS-LXA1 (<serial_number>)")
6. Press on the button "Specify a folder" and select the folder "unbrick"
7. Make sure all files are found and checked
8. Press "Unbrick" button and wait to finish
9. Reboot the phone
If you got error during flash procces and it says that can not flash USERDATA.img just replace the file USERDATA.img (25MB) from the folder unbrick with the other USERDATA.img (746MB) and try again.
I think USERDATA.img (25MB) is the correct file, but the service rom has 2 files called USERDATA.img in both update.app and update_WAS-L21A_hw_eu.app so I just extracted both files for you.

What doesn't work? Send me a screenshot of your Multi Tool when you unbrick the phone. What error message you got?
BTW, if the phone has a warranty just return it for repair, but don't say what the problem is. Just says "Don't work. don't start the android". If you're living in the EU the warranty is not viod even if unlock the Bootloader. There is a law that allows users to install own software on their hardware without losing the warranty. A few years ago I brick 2 tablets and 1 phone during flash "things" and I got full replacement on the phone and tablets.
