Nokia 6 ta-1025 LTE - Nokia 6 Questions & Answers

Dear developers, I have flashed my nokia 6 ta-1000 ( 4GB Ram,64GB Rom) with ta-1025 firmware provided in this forum and updated the phone to the latest android version 8.1.0. However, my phone is still not detecting 4G LTE band 28(700) offered by my service provider in my country-Kenya. Is this a hardware issue? What do i need to do to make the phone detect the 4G band? Kindly assist.

ta-1000 radio does not support band 28. If you want band 28 support buy either ta-1025 or ta-1039. flashing ta-1025 firmware wont help.

Thanks.

To get it correctly, so this is a hardware issue not software huh? For my information, can the radio be fixed or replaced? Must I buy another handset whose radio supports band 28?
Thanks for the feedback.

Correct, that's hardware issue. TA-1000 supports LTE bands 1,3,5,38,39,40,41. It's not possible to fix or replace modem. You need to buy another handset supporting LTE bands of your carrier.

Does ta-1021 support the 4G band 28?

How can I check LTE band support on m9+ ?

Hello, I bought M9+ in Dubai, where it was said LTE band 20 (800MHz) is not supported. To be precise, FDD band 20 was missing in the listing. I know for sure, the HW is absolutely the same as the EU version (even the MID code wasthe same), so I chnged the CID to HTC__032 (EU) and applied EU OTA which I thought would replace the radio file allowing me to use this band wich is perfectly usable on EU versions i Czech Republic.
But it seems that it either does not work or the radio was not changed (or perhaps there is more to be done?)...
How can I chec which LTE bands are configured to be supported? What can I do to support band 20 if it is not set atm?

LTE Bands Enabled on SM-G935T With SM-G935A firmware

Has Anyone looked into flashing the AT&T firmware onto the TMobile S7e phone. I switch back to this device from my Note 7 and wanted to see if flashing the AT&T firmware would enable the missing LTE bands on the G935T.
Has anyone flashed the G935U firmware? Did it make the other bands available on your device?
Thanks!
Which bands are you worried about? The latest firmware enables band 12 on top of band 4 when it needs it.

Wanted to see if flashing AT&T firmware would activate Band 29 & 30. Or if I went to the G935U firmware it would activate all LTE bands...
From what I can tell those bands are not available to the T-Mobile variant's modem. I'm seeing it's capable (with firmware support) of using 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, & 20.

List LTE band supported by the device

Hi ,
Do you know any code to be able to list all LTE band supported by the device ?
I'm trying *#*#4636#*#* but nothing happens.
I transformed my L04C567 to L09C432 hopping it will active dual sim but it did not
before I revert back to L04 I would like to check if it supports same LTE bands or not.
Thanks,
Laurent
It's hardware related not software... So even installing ie L09 or any other firmware which supports dual sim. So its not going to work

is possible to unlock the LTE band 8(900 mhz) for VNS-L23?

Hello,
I have an Vns-l23 from latin america and i want to change carrier but it has a 900MHz band and my model only support this bands.
4G: FDD B2(1900MHz)/B4(1700MHz)/B5(850MHz)/B7(2600MHz)/B28(700MHz)
But i've researched and models like vns L21,L22 and L31 support band 8 and i want to know if there is a way to have LTE in this band in my phone, maybe changing ROM or something similar.
I've found methods in google but are only for qualcomm processors and doesn't work.
I'm using Cyanogenmod ROM and i haven't tried if this band is compatible but i want to make sure that it works before i change carrier.
If someone confirm that this band work in CM or know how to make compatible, please solve my dude.
PD: excuse if i made mistakes, english is not my native language.
Thanks.
As far as i know, is this a hardware thing and cannot be "unlocked" via software. If the latin american modem does not come with lte 800 support, i think it is imposible to "unlock".
News? Is it possible?
Could anybody do it?
I suppose it is possible...
I had asians firmware was-lx2 but i need to use it in Argentina, with other band for 3g and 4g.
So i chanhed firmware to latinoamerican was-lx3.
I supposed it would unlock me the same frequencies that the p10 Lite in latinamerica is using qhen you buy it original, but at the moment (1 day) i think nothing happend.. i do not hace 3g nor 4g.
What do you think?
