I'm looking for a way to remotely control my phone without any user input. Unfortunately Teamviewer host does not work for the Moto G4 Play. Are there any roms or solutions out there?

Does anyone know of a way to use your wing as a tv remote? possible? and also can i use my data plan internet connection to use remote desktop? can you point me in the direction of a tutorial maybe?
i have been wondering the same thing, it would be awesome if there was a program to use your wing as a universial remote, i know that there is a program for psp
well the wing doesn't have an infrared port, so I'm pretty sure it wont work with some type of adapter *cries*
I can confirm. Because the Wing/Herald/Atlas has no IR port, it can't be used as a tv remote.
I suppose if you had a media center you could issue commands over like wifi or something. I know there are like vnc programs for ppc, and you can use it as a mouse.

Wow dude...congrats....I think you post more than anyone on here!
Well, how sophisticated do you want to make things? Check out LinuxMCE.com... The possibilities are endless...
i suppose you could patch it through ip or something, but that gets complicated enough that you might as well just reach for the remote
dougstoner- i'm the tech support in herald section just because i'm good at it but because i'm always on.
I am trying to find out if the only thing that should be keeping someone from remote controlling an NON-ROOTED android device with a PC is not being able to inject mouse and keyboard events? what other issues could arise?
I have been working with vnc server and screencast and the keyboard and mouse seems to be the only issue i can find in the code.google site and with testing. I've tried to contact the devs of those apps with no luck.
Thanks for any help you can give.
I want to access my phone from my PC.
Is that technically possible?
Does the technology already exist?
EDIT: for people who find this thread through google
Technology Exist. droid VNC Serve 0.2 for Android @market
hey, I was trying the watchon app that comes with the phone, it's cool, and it works with my tv and some other things, but kinda hard to make it work with projectors, and also, can't control other stuff, like my air conditioner, stereo, etc.
so what you guys think is the best IR remote control app?
something with more kinds of devices, or maybe one that can learn controls? (not sure how it works.)
thanks in advance
i have tested a few in a hunt for an app that can control my decoder, and i havent found any yet.
but for my tv i use ZaZa Remote, i would apreciate any recommadations myself.
but AFAIK the s4 in itself isnt able to learn IR codes, but i think you can buy an ir dongle for some of the apps which are capable of learning commands.
I am looking for a remote desktop solution, like LogMeIn or TeamViewer that doesn't require me to do any detailed configuration.
The problem is that LogMeIn, for example, won't treat my Note 3 phone as a tablet, so I can't use the mouse like a normal mouse. (The settings for mouse are "move mouse" and "move screen", but there is no direct mode available for phones to use a mouse like a regular mouse.)
My device is a Verizon Android 4.4 KitKat Samsung Note 3 phone (unfortunately rooting is not an option for me), and I am using it with the Note 2 dock with an external monitor and wireless usb keyboard/mouse. Everything works great except I can't find a good remote desktop solution that will allow me to work "normally" in terms of the mouse.
I also have Win 8 Home version on my desktop PC and do not want to configure port forwarding and a fixed ip to solve rotating external IP address assignments. (Please excuse me if I didn't say that correctly, but the point is that I really don't want to deal with those kinds of complexities.) Yes, I realize that I may have too many constraints - don't want configuration challenges (which I think rules out VNC or standard RDP), and also no rooting of the phone. But I am willing to pay a small monthly subscription, e.g. I looked at PocketCloud with $5/month, but that doesn't seem to support my requirement either from a quick look at the manual.
Is there anyone who can suggest a good solution for my needs?
Have you tried the google remote desktop? It's free. I've been pretty impressed with it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't thought about that because it was relatively new. But I may try it (after some more reading). Unfortunately, it doesn't look good for external mouse support. Here's one review...
Review from Jim Fox
Great, but no external mouse support I have been using Splashtop for a while now, but was super excited to use this when I saw it come on the play store. The problem I have is that when I take remote control of my computer, I use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The program works like a trackpad to control the remote mouse with touch, which is great when you don't have an external mouse, but makes it near impossible to control when you do. You have to hold the right mouse button down in order to move the remote mouse and then click with the left. Near impossible to use. Please fix.

On the other hand, the comments make me wonder if I should try LMI and TV again with an external trackpad instead of a mouse. I wonder if that behavior might be better?
