1.25 µm. Here's a link for you. https://mobilesyrup.com/2017/06/24/huawei-p10-p10-camera-serious-contender
Personally, as a photographer, im quite okay with the camera. The monochrome sensor is excellent. And the software processing is quite good. The advantage of having bigger pixel size just for the night and darker environment. Lesser noise.

I wonder if it gonna beat the s7 and if so by how much.
Huawei P9 Leica Dual Camera, 270 percent more light than an iPhone 6S, and 70 percent more light than a Galaxy S7.

Actually there is no contenst, S7 will easily win. The P9 does not have optical image stabilization, for starters. The aperture is F2.2 in the P9, which means that the S7 is one stop better (100% more light entering the sensor).
And the "270% more light" thing is only for the monochrome sensor. It remains to be seen if the software processing will be able to do something really useful with the black and white images.
I actually noticed with last update that sammy added new option in cam app called shape correction.
The more i take photos with s7 the more impressed i become
It's got 12 MP with f/2.2 sensor, I can't see it beating the f/1.7 sensor
There are samples already out. No contest, easy win for s7

Hard to gauge. The shots are all badly taken, you can see resolution but will not be able to see much real camera performance there.

Half a stop, so it's 50% more light. Still pretty big difference in favor of the S7 and specially since it also has OIS so definitely a lot better than P9 in darkness . Not impressed with the P9 camera. As an owner of a Mate 8 I find it a little dissapointing.

Actually if you want to get really technical, the difference between F1.7 and F2.2 is 0.83 EV, so 83% more light in favor of the S7.

But there's 2 cameras so that's already 100% more. The monochrome sensor also has no color filter for 200% more light.
So if one regular f2.2 camera is 1 unit, the P9 can claim to recieve 4 units of light. Compared to the 1.83 units of the s7.

P10 Lite vs Honor 6X vs Moto G5 Plus

Between the Huawei P10 Lite, Honor 6X & the Moto G5 Plus which has the:
1. Louder speakers?
2. Better viewing in direct sunlight &/or great outdoor readability?
3. True whole day battery life?
4. A camera that has great contrast, great saturation, natural-looking and more than average ow-light/night photography?
5. Great performance and benchmarks?
Please advice.
I had a G5+ prior to my P10 Lite... and hands down it was a superior phone. The only problem was a lack of a compass with made it cumbersome for my purpose. If you ok with just GPS which will be sufficient for most people. .. I would suggest the G5+

Honor 6X Vs. 7X

Honor 6X Vs. 7X
Honor 6X
The Honor 6X is powered by the Kirin 655 and comes in 3 and 4GB RAM models. There are options for 32 and 64GB of storage. The screen has a 1080 x 1920 screen resolution at a 16:9 aspect ratio and the battery is 3340 mAh. The camera is a dual 12MP + 2MP setup.
Honor 7X
The Honor 7X has the upgraded Kirin 659 and comes with 4GB of RAM. The storage options now extend to 128GB. The screen on the 7X is now 1080 x 2160 pixels due to the new 18:9 aspect ratio. The battery is the same as the 6X but the camera is note a 16MP + 2MP setup.
Camera
The new camera is a bit of an improvement over the 6X, but is still a long way from the Honor flagships like the Honor 9. Video quality is much improved with a max resolution of 1080p. You can shoot in slow-mo at 120fps at 640x480p. There is a new feature with "effects" which is a snapchat-like filter thing.
Display
The new display is one of my favorite improvements with the 7X. This is what sets it apart from other budget phones. The 18:9 display gives you more screen and a better screen-to-body ratio. The image also has better contrast and just looks sharper overall. The screen on most budget phones is where you're going to take the biggest hit, but Honor did a great job on the 7X.
Performance
Performance is much better and instantly noticeable when navigating the system. While this phone has no-lag with basic functions and apps, this is not a gaming device. The phone struggles with intense 3D gaming just like the 6X did.
Build
The 7X has gone under a complete redesign from the previous 6X. It was given a body almost identical to the Honor 8 Pro, which i think is the best design of their Honor line-up. The phone feel premium and durable while the 6X felt much more like a budget device..
.
If i had the choice between a 7X or moto g5 plus, my choice was quickly made xD, althougjt the 7x is a nice looking phone tho.

If you want custom ROM support then G5 Plus is way to go!
No doubt the 7X is better, in every aspect
7x is better

Like i and said before launch the Honor 7x it's not worth the upgrade from 6x to 7x... I don't see many reasons to do that except screen size and body to screen ratio. Anyway it is one of the best device of that price range

Yes you're right, but if a person was upgrading from the 5X, it's definitely worth it.

Can the p10 lite do virtual reality?(Does the p10 lite have a gyroscope sensor?)

can it do vr?
Yes it can. I have it but keep in mind that the VR experience is not that great. Fps tend to drop and it does not seem fluent at times. Also, the screen has a laggy feel because it uses a ips lcd. The xiaomi redmi note 4x was way better at vr but the miui os is absolutely buggy and I had to change it for this p10 lite.

ok thanks...Im getting one tomorrow and i just wanted to know...???
No problem.
I don't think its a good idea for you to use this phone for VR. The Display is 1080p - that means that if you go into VR mode there will be 2 pictures displayed in half the quality (each eye will see the picture on its half the display so 2x 540p)

P10 Plus - Oreo Update ("Dareken interface colours)

Hi Guys (and girls)
I'm considering getting a P10 Plus.
Can anyone confirm, if the P10 Plus received the feature, found on the Mate 10 Pro, called "Darken interface colours", after the Oreo update for the P10 Pro.
I've attached an image, taken from a Mate 10 Pro, to show how cool it looks.
Basically makes the whole Huawei interface black which looks great compared to the ordinary white background found on phones.
Thanks everyone
PS - I noticed I made a spelling mistake in the title. Sorry guys, I can't seem to correct it.
No due to tge p10+ and the mate 10 comes with LCD while the mate 10 pro comes with amoled

Thanks 'chubbs75':good:
1) Is this also why the P10 Plus doesn't have the Always On option, in standby mode?
2) And is Always On only on Amoled screens?

Yep. You can have always on on LCD but pixels Will be lit up black so battery usage will be great.
On amoled just the pixels which displays the time lit up so it's saving battery.
I miss. My Lumia 950XL..
