Please let me know your current ROM and previous ROM.
Power+Vol down.
Get into bootloader mode by selection keys.
Then type fastboot boot recovery.img
Before this let me know your exact ROM version.
Hope this helps.

1. Install Minimal ADB and Fastboot from following thread link
2. Download the recovery [SDK 22/23 (5.1.X/6.X)] TWRP 3.0.2.0 from following link Recovery for Lenovo A6000
3. Replace recovery.img of SDK 22/23 to minimal ADB and Fastboot installation folder
4. Now do the following steps & thanks to @Mr.AW
a. Enter to fastboot
b. Turn off your phone
c. Hold on the volume down key and hold on the power button
d. Wait until lenovo logo appears with small text "Powerkey long press can reboot phone" at the bottom of the screen
e. Connect your phone to your PC
f. Type "fastboot boot recovery.img" (without quotes). Wait until you land on TWRP recovery
I hope, now you can land into recovery mode.
bro I did each and every step above way before. Each time Iam ending up with the resurrection remix logo and nothing comes after that. Even from pc it is saying waiting for any device when I type fastboot boot recovery.img. Any way thanks for your reply

Everything was normal...But when i clicked reboot system after installation it went straight to fast boot mode.
I can boot into recovery just fine but i cant enter system
Need Help Thanks.
Might be a boot problem. Try reflashing the kernel inside the rom.zip manually via twrp img flash mode.

I am trying to use Oreo ROM on my old Honami SOL23.
I have xzdual recovery installed.
I installed pre-rooted international rom 14.6.A.1.236 and it is fully working.
Now I am trying to upgrade my TWRP.
I used TWRP manager, Rashr(flashed twrp.Img on Fota), dd =if... command in terminal emulator, uninstalled existing XZdual recovery.
Used adb command. all attempts showed success but I am unable to boot into my upgraded TWRP(3.0.2-0-honami)
I only can boot into TWRP(3.0.2-0-honami) temporarily (recovery.Img file is in my Pc) through
Fastboot boot recovery.img command,
Tried installing .Img file with this temporary recovery but error: opening directory warning comes up in red) and recovery is gone when rebooted. I tried several times.
i did a lot of search on Google and xda threads. Some experienced similar problem previously but I found no solution yet. Actually I am curious now about what's wrong with this rather having Oreo ROM. Your help will be much appreciated. Sorry for my bad English
Flashed Linease Oreo (port) through temporary booting into latest TWRP. Problem is solved apparently.
But I don't know whether it is possible to flash latest recovery and stay in my stock ROM at the same time.
Hope XDA tech experts of will remove my confusion . Thank you.
I sent my phone in for repairs and so i had unrooted and relocked the bootloader, then factory reset. I just got my phone back today, its on build 10.5.13IN11AA.
I enabled USB Debugging and the option to unlock the bootloader, so then i went and unlocked the bootloader, but i can NOT get TWRP to boot so that I can install Magisk. I'm guessing i need the patched boot.img but i cant find that anywhere either.
Does anyone have a patched boot.img for the global variant on 10.5.13 they can link? Or am i doing this wrong?
I got this figured out. I downloaded Magisk Manager and installed it on my phone, then downloaded the entire 10.5.13 update from a link a found here and extracted the boot.img file. I used ADB to push it to my downloads folder on the phone and used Magisk to patch it. Then I copied it back to my PC and used fastboot to install it, done!
Sir please post boot image

Just download payload dumper.
Download the firmware youre on
Extract payload.
Run payload dumper
Obtain boot.img from the output folder.
Pop it on your phone and patch it with magisk.
Flash with magisk.
Hey all,
After attempting to install TWRP and Lineage on my M3, it seems I put it into a boot loop. I can get into recovery/rescue mode but that's about it.
I've so far tried the dload method as well as this method but can't seem to find the last few files I need! The linked thread that mentions a Huawei Multi-Tool looks promising but the UPDATE.APP file I have doesn't have a SYSTEM.IMG or CUST.IMG file. Does anyone know where I can find these? I've tried flashing just the BOOT.IMG and RECOVERY.IMG files I have, but afterward I'm still stuck in the loop.
I'm not sure what to try anymore to get it out of the loop it's in, I can't get to a recovery. Please let me know if anyone has suggestions, otherwise it looks like I might have to get a new tablet. Thanks!
This issue was fixed by using the Multi-Tool software mentioned previously to flash an older version of TWRP, 3.2.0-0 then flash Lineage 16.0 from there.
