Hi everyone, about a week ago i get a p9 lite and just after get this i bought a tempered glass, was hard to put and there was some burbbles under the tempered, by the way i used the entire week with the glass protector with bubbles.
Today i went to a store and ask about other tempered glass, they didn't have stock and offered me a ''hi-tech nano liquid glass protector'', i got it and put it.
Now the question, is this confident to use this? Can i put a tempered glass over this liquid protector film? Thanks for answer and greetings from Argentina.

My Note 3 dropped from appx. 1.5 m, and before its touchdown it also took a hit from a metal bar. It was in a hard plastic case and there was Spigen GlasTR tempered glass screen protector on it. I was sure that there would be damage; but at first I saw none. The tempered glass was totally intact. When I tried to unlock the device, the bitter truth prevailed. The screen was broken, bottom quarter of the screen had died. In every review I watched/read about tempered glass told that the glass would break and protect the screen. Unfortunately Spigen is too strong The new screen will cost a fortune
I was curious, did anybody else managed to break their screens without keeping the protector intact?
Hello there,
I don't understand one thing. I bought brand new huawei p10 plus. Few weeks later i got cracks for no reason on my screen but they where on the very front glass. Is that crack on plastic protector or on an actual screen? Is there any protector anyways? Can i use my phone without that plastic protector? Last phone i had was samsung galaxy core (yes, pretty old phone) so i don't know a lot about these new phones.
Thanks!
There is a plastic screen protector preapplied on the p10 and p10 plus but is just a film layer, it should not be cracked, only scratched.
however I did remove from mine because supposed to be a dead pixel on the LCD, but it was just a piece of dust.
and did not find a perfect protector for a while and this and the Huawei Flip case made my Gorilla Glass 5 scratched as hell.
Ghost Shield is a good protector film, soft, and cover all the glass except the fingerprint reader.
but if you want glass protector I find one what is good enough called Motcha.
Hello, my brand new HTC U Ultra got a 5 cm long scratch recently for not known reason! Cared for it, but now it's scratched. Luckily, the scratch is barely visible. It can be seen only in bright conditions or when screen is on. I ordered tempered glass screen protector right when ordered the phone. Phone came sooner, of course, and after week of usage, the Gorilla Glass 5 got scratched. I'm sad and it looks very bad from some viewing angles, wanna have my phone to look good. The question is simple. Can the screen protector hide that scratch, which is not too deep, but I feel it with my fingernails. Maybe the adhesive on the back can cover it?
Ive read afew threads and ive come to understand the differences in Screen protectors (tempered mostly) as that's what I'm going on. Also thanks to GravX for this wonderful thread of info - https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...s/galaxy-s9-s9-plus-screen-protector-t3760133.
But i still have some questions that i cannot find straight answers to and maybe XDA can help me answer them:
1) Those edge adhesive tempered glass protectors - do they actually fit perfectly on S9's and allow you to use the edge of the screen - Or - does the black strip (where the glue is) on the glass cover up the usable side of the s9? I ask cause i like the curved look of the s9 - its partly the reason I bought it. Using a protector that cuts it off even slightly is unacceptable.
2) The fact that most options on Ali are edge adhesive is really putting me off - but what are the disadvantages here > Could the glass actually fall off or come loose from **** adhesive?
3) With the full adhesive glasses (which is what i want ideally) - can the glue be removed safely? There is no point in buying two if after the first drop - the glue makes the screen unusable..
I'm scouring Ali atm for full adhesive - full coverage tempered glass. If there are some XDA recommend's- please do let me know.
Much appreciated.
I got a full liquid adhesive tempered glass. It was a cheaper version of the Whitestone dome on Amazon. I much prefer it to the edge adhesive ones I've had in the past. I haven't removed it, so I can't speak to the ease of removal of the protector or the adhesive.

See https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80019983&postcount=169 for the full glue tempered glass screen protector that I purchased on AliExpress. I bought two two-packs (one two-pack for my wife's and another for my S9+). Installed them several months ago and they are still working great. I would definitely buy them again. The kits do not contain an installation jig like that provided with the Whitedome, but if you watch several videos and are careful you can still get a professional installation. I did on my first try, so I still have a spare protector and glue for each of our phones. They are cheap enough (about 1/10th the cost of the Whitedome) that you can certainly try again if your first attempt isn't acceptable.

i got the liquid too, can be removed with ease if you pull it out, screen is crystal clear, no residue :highfive:
The only thing I hate about these edge adhesive screen protectors is that if you just miss just a tiny bit, you have a huge risk of dust creeping in and it gets annoying. I messed up a bit, and I paid the price lol
This happens since the screen does not stick 100% to the whole screen. Sure, you get no bubbles when installing but you can get a situation like this happen. And it gets on my nerves every time I take notice of it... which is often xD
I bought this tempered glass screen protector from amazon:https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07C5...abc_0Z5CSCFC1JDNGNTPQB2B?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It has stayed on my s9+ for over a year
Hello
Im going to buy a S10+ soon but I need to get the screen protector and case before hand...
The screen protector is obvious: Whitestone Dome Glass
The case not so much...I wanted the Spigen Thin Armor but it doesnt seem to be compatible with the Whitestone Dome Glass
I used in the past: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OSS12Z2 and it was great and worked for me.
Suggestions?
Have you looked at Armadillo Tek cases? I have one for my S10 and it works with glass screen protectors. Otterbox commuter I think it is works too as I have it on my S10+ with a hybrid glass screen protector. Finally Pelican brand cases are also glass screen protector friendly as I got one for my S10+ as well.
Tech 21 Pure Clear....10 ft drop protection and ultra slim.... I've dropped my phone many times now on various hard surfaces and no cracks or scratches....and I also have a 5 and 2 year old.....and those kids have also dropped tested my phone many times as well.....
