My device charges itself?

Sometimes, my device charges itself. I mean the battery goes up from 4 to 5 without my phone even connected to charger. What makes it happen?

I tried it a couple times.
I have to say that my battery life is amazing tho.

I use tapatalk [emoji14] I've seen something like that it's due to rom

It does not charge itself, it's the battery indicator displaying wrong battery level values.

Is there a way to fix this?

Try to flash maybe also the latest dorimanx kernel.

It will rectify itself after a couple of charging cycles.

Stock Lollipop slow charging - is there a fix?

I've been running CM12 for about 5 months and never had any major problems. I decided to return to stock yesterday and I'm running the 30b ROM on a D802 in the UK. I now have the slow charging issue which other people have reported. The problem is that I use my phone as a sat nav in the car and the battery is draining even when plugged in making it useless. On CM12, the battery would charge quickly even when using GPS and would get to 100% and stay there.
Is there a fix for this or do I give up and go back to CM12?

The phone charges regularly as long as its cool...once it gets warm charging slows...dorimanx will have it fixed when he releases lp kernel...give it time

I've just flashed beta 2.1 from here and now getting 1800ma when charging

Oh yeah...i forgot you guys already have custom kernel...lucky...Dorimanx is the only kernel dev still supporting stock on d801...hes working hard to get to 1st lp release

I did the same thing but nothing changed at charging...

Fast charge

Hi, I have a problem, I'm on InvictaOS 4.15-hal3 and I'm not having fast charge, it only happens on this Rom, the stock works normal, lineage, rr and some more too, is it due to something? Thanks

How can you say it doesn't work on that ROM only ?
It's discussed a lot time before,
- use "Ampere" app to know current rate,and temperature of your device.
- temperature shouldn't cross ~44℃.

Check if it works without modifications like ex kernel. As mentioned before: it's never a rom problem.

nope hal-3 has fast charging. however invicta os at starting has problems with fast charging this okay at the beginning. give it sometime to rest. and check the heating problem. check if your phone is above 45 or near it. fast charging stops at that temp. also could you tell how you restored apps to your device, cuz my device would heat a lot and fast charging would not happen, iff i restored it via flashable twrp made with the help of titanium backup

Let your battery run down to 20-30% and then try again. You're seeing slow charging as your battery is nearly full in those screenshots. Thus, your device is tricklecharging to protect the battery and your device. That's normal behaviour across many batteries/devices with batteries.
Drain your device battery and use Ampere to monitor charging. If Turbocharging doesn't kick in (and/or you don't see 2000+ mA in Ampere), report back with screenshots and details.

Hi, i am having problem in charging with pixel experience rom.Takes more than 5 hrs to charge my phone.charging worked perfectly fine with stock.

It may be due to excessive heating of the device

About charging time

Guys I'm on official miui 9 and the charging time is insane. I've tried my brothers sony charger but same problem low charging speed. It takes 5 to 6 hours for full charge. Though there is no loose connection in USB port and even file transfer is as fast as of when cable was new no interruption at all. I don't know if xiaomi is stepping on apple footsteps does it injecting any issues to make us force to buy new device. I've experiencing this problem since the miui 9 launch. I tried both global stable and global developers roms but no change. could you guys please share your experiences or work around for this issue.

thanks for suggestion friend But I think my battery is ok as its not discharging fast or showing different percentage of charge between switched off and switched on phase. It is just not charging fast like it used to, something is wrong with all recent miui firmwares because so many people are complaining about the same on miui forum

Please Post your reviews on the usage of FDE.AI on Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2. How is it working? Is there any problems and such?

I m facing notch prblm after installing that

It works awesome on rooted stock ROM. Enables fast charging speeds as well. Battery life has been improved by miles.

Q.c 3.0 is not working anyway for our device only qc 2.0

SOT cannot be same for everyone. But I get good two days of usage.
Charging speeds are also better than the Stock. I don't know the speeds as the stock rom doesn't show it on the charging screen.
One more thing: This is some machine learning algorithm. So will take a while to 'set-in' on your phone for maximum effects.
