It does not charge itself, it's the battery indicator displaying wrong battery level values.
Is there a way to fix this?

Hello there I'm a noob and I want to ask is that true I have to fully discharge note 2 and fully charge it for a few times?
Is fully discharging and fully charging a full cycle?
Is that true I have to do so to improve my battery life or make it stable?

no dont discharge its not good for the battery they say no lower then 10%
I rarely let it go lower than 30-40% - unless I am away from a charger for longer periods. But yeah no need to let it fully discharge.

XDA App, few calls, hangouts (sms) - Facebook, Sky sports app and some Chrome browsing.. Moderate-heavy use I'd say, Before I had Android OS/System drain solved that by flashing back to Stock > MK2 > then Installing AllainceROM and the kernel, settled very well now
EDIT: most def advise CivZ kernel rev 2.5 for stability, and if you like custom ROMs, head over to AllianceROM and try it @sparkyb + @Goldie are doing some great work. -- OTA mods and updates being worked on.
I have always more than 20% percent of the battery used on cell standby.

HI EVERYBODY
I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY GALAXY S5 G900F
IT KEEPS REBOOTING SO I TRIED A SOFTWARE AND IT DIDN'T WORK
SO I FLASHED A CUSTOM ROM THEN IT WORKED FOR A WEEK AND THE PROBLEM SHOWED UP AGAIN
SO NOW EVERYTIME I FLASH A CUSTOM ROM THE PHONE WORKS FOR COUPLE OF DAYS AND THEN THE SAME PROBLEM KEEPS COMING BACK
..
..
..
ANY IDEAS
Hi there,
Can you please define what "a software" means? What custom ROM did you install? Have you tried reflashing stock ROM and try isolating the problem (so, don't install you're usually apps, test them one by one) whether it is an app caused issue or hardware (happens regardless of app/ROM install)? Have you considered getting a new battery? Apologies for the vague questions but the level of detail provided is not sufficient for us users to effectively help.
Regards, Saber

You mentioned changing the battery? Is it a Samsung original battery replacement? Cos I think mine was caused by overheating up to 70C and rebooting. I'm planning to under clock in a while.

i think the main problem here is the part that detect the battery percentage, or atleast the battery itself. Since i plugged in my phone then it hanged so i had to pull out the battery then put it back on while still plugged in, then my batter percentage increased from 24% to 45% by just doing that.
thoughts?

I tried a new battery and that didn't work so i don't think that it is a battery issue
But if the part that detect the battery percentage is broken, that's mean we have to replace the entire motherboard

This might help a little. Look for these lines in your build.prop:
ro.core_ctl_min_cpu=2
ro.core_ctl_max_cpu=4
Change the value of he first line to 1. It's set to run on 2 cores minimum. If the lines aren't there, try adding at least the first set to 1.
Edit: it actually sounds like you may have a battery problem or another problem with your device. Might want to try to get it replaced.
Hallo there,
I own redmi mi 9T a few weeks now, I'm rooted and have magisk on it.
Problem is overheating, 3 times now, my phone is reaching almost 40 degrease Celsius.
After reboot everything is normal again.

Check your battery stats if what is causing it, try uninstalling or freezing the app that has the most CPU usage and test it again.

If you still having the problem, I think it's better to return it to the manufacturer or the store and ask for a replacement
Today I received my mi 9t.
When I loaded it with 40% at 90% turned off. Phone was ver hot.
I use powerbank with QC 3.0 I use standard case .
I wait about 20 minutes and turn on phone.
What do You think about that?
Does it can be fixed by software or it is fail of engenering and it is hardware problem?
