Hi guys.
I had a long time without post anything. Today I want to ask them something. Maybe it's only a fooliness but.... if I see a ROM that have compability with the ALE-L21 model and my phone is a ALE-23 model, but in the rom's post is explicit mentioned only the L21 version ¿What is the risk? ¿Softbricked? ¿Bootloop? or it should work. I wonder this obviously for security but also because I want to prove some ROMS like Flyme, MIUI, etc. that -sadly- only says "ALE-L21" in the post. :crying::crying:
Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor english.

Hello everyone!
I recently bought a Huawei P8 Lite, it came with Lollipop 5.0.1. The thing is I would like to update to 5.1 at least. For all the reasons we all know about, this is kind of a must. However my operator hasn't send me the OTA package nor could I found one in any Huawei website. So I mailed them about this a few days ago, and got no answer yet.
So anyone here went through the same/has a stock 5.1 rom for this model? I have also read that some people swapped to ALE-21 for the updates and stuff, but I dont wanna mess with the baseband, since those post are not always properly detailed about this stuff.
Any comment, info, post, link, whatever on this topic will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
You can find more info here. if you don't want to upgrade to Ale-L21 just use this as a guide (Chapter 4) but with your own stock rom file that you download from the huawei website.

So i looked up the problem that you had with converting. and i put a comparison in the thread. thx for pointing out something we didn't mention before
you can find the comparison here http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=pdacomparer&id1=7978&id2=8162&id3=7966
the Ali-L21 supports more basebands the the ale l23 so that's all.
Seems like my only choice is to force an ale-21 single sim rom into my phone and try not to screw it in the process.. I dont understand why Huawei wont release a 5.1 update for .23 even if its the same as .21
Thank you a lot, I will follow the steps mentioned above and try some luck

Hi guys,
There's an offer from aliexpress for the P9 Lite but from the feedbacks, the phone is coming with a chinese firmware. Well, you can set the language you want but some people say it still has some chinese stuff.
Would it be possible to Flash the phone with the lastest official Rom (international) from Huawei ? With this tool ? https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...pe-vns-l31-toolkit-bootloader-t3432873/page53
I've made some search and came with a tutorial with dload and just an sdcard with the content of the new ROM. Is it just simple as that ? Will it erase every chinese stuff and put Google Play Store ?
Thank you very much.
First, which model is it? There are some particular chinese model that have a different chipset so it may be incompatible with international firmware.
I have a VNS-L23 model can i flash the international firmware on it
Sent from my HUAWEI VNS-L23 using Tapatalk
Yes you should be able to do it. I don't have the link at the moment, but if you search Huawei Firmware Finder you can find a tool to search all Huawei firmware. The European ROM is c432 and the international one is the c900
Thanks i debranded last night and my phone is currently saying VNS-L31C432

Theorically if he flashes c432 oeminfo it should work.
The AL00 version is a different phone with a snapdragon chipset so be very careful.
No. You can't . Different hardware. You may brick your device.
I have a vns-l23 on build vns-l23c45b130, would it hurt anything to flash the international rom (c900)?
Hello,
I need help !!!
I just bought ZTE axon 7 and I didn't know it was the chinese version. Did someone has the Chinese version too ? If yes, can you tell me if you have problem with this version ?
Have you upgrade to Android 7.1 Nougat ?
Also I don't have "updates" on the phone's Settings menu, is it the same for you ? And do you have a solution?
Thank you in advance.

You know, you can use Google...
A bunch of people have the chinese version... why would they have problems? It obviously has less bands than the US version but you should tale that for granted
You can upgrade to Nougat, just be sure that the OS version is A2017v1.x.xBXX (Not A2017G or A2017U). If it says one of the two other models then you have to follow the instructions given on one of the thousand other posts of guys like you that don't even care to read.

I am having A2017 and I intentionally bought that because of the LTE bands for India. I am using A2017 with A2017U (US Model) firmware without any issues. I am satisfied with phone.
I have also used LOS , RR but I always vote to stock firmware for its fluidity n camera n music quality.
Let me know if any help needed.

We could... but my answer is "I don't know"...
First, there is some confusion about "Honor 6 plus" and "Honor 6x": sometimes they mean the same phone (PE-TL10), but they should be two different phones.
Second, there is the issue about the locked bootloader in PE-TL10.
Ensure the ROM you are telling about is specifically for the PE-TL10 or you will likely encounter a softbrick/bootloop/whatever makes your phone unuseable.
How could it be flashed? If via CWM/TWRP, you have first to flash the recovery, so you need an unlocked bootloader.
