[SM-T580] FRP Partly bypassed (Chrome trick) - Samsung Galaxy Tab A series Questions & Answers

Before you start. Whatever you do. Whatever you want. Dont flash Android 7 if youre frp locked and youre on android 6. Learn of others failure.
So i found a alternative to those google assist and Voice assistant tricks to get you to the internet.
Works on: https://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?record=8A3B64C8509711E7963AFA163EE8F90B
Unpack, flash with odin. AP in the AP slot. BL into the BL slot. And HOME_CSC into csc spot.
Dont check anything but the first and the third option in options.
When you flashed it, it may boot into recovery. Just reboot.
Then press START. Connect to a wifi network press next, and accept the terms of service. And then when it wants you to enter the previous email click on the empty field to open keyboard, on the keyboard long press the second to the left from the SPACEBAR and select the settings logo thing.
It should have taken you to SAMSUNG KEYBOARD settings. On the left side of the ''SAMSUNG KEYBOARD'' there should be an arrow, click on it then select google voice typing. Click on ''Your Feed'' and press ''Feed'' Option. That should take you to a blue screen, Press ''No, Thanks'' in the left corner. Then in Search type ''Chrome'' and tap on the Chrome icon.
you can download Nova Launcher from some apk mirror and use it as an normal tablet.
I've also tried the Google Account Manager trick with quickshortcut maker but that didnt work for me.
Please share all progress you make as i have not bypassed the FRP myself. But well, i made it to the internet! That's some progress, i guess :fingers-crossed:

If you have a launcher working, you should be able to go to /Settings/Accounts and add a Google account. Then you should be able to restart and use the new account to login and bypass the FRP.

I have already tried that. But it just wants the old email and password.

use smart device flow in google settings to copy your google accounts from another device.

lockscreen password lost - how to reset?

Hi,
my nephew has forgotten his lockscreen password (text). So there is no chance to get in android. The Nexus 7 is locked and USB debugging is NOT enabled.
What can I do to get in android back?
WLAN is on!
When I get to the bootloader to do Recovery Mode - then I get the Android-Man with the message Kein Befehl (no command).
Thanks and best regards,
schiff
Put in incorrect password
Type in incorrect password about 10 times. Then it will give you an option of using your google account to unlock.

That does not work. After 5 times there us displayed a pop up with the message: you entered the password 5 times wrong. please try again in 30 sec.
But there is no possibilty to enter the google account.
I open the Nexus 7 case. Is there any battery (or somethin like that) to make a hard reset?

Does it says 'Forgot pin' anywhere after 5 wrong messages? You need to tap that link which will take you to login through Google account.
If that doesn't works, then hard reset your nexus 7 to factory settings. It will wipe all apps and data. See this link for hard reset
http://www.ekoob.com/hard-reset-recovery-mode-nexus-7-11334/
I found the answer:
* http://androidforums.com/nexus-7/610638-warning-nexus-7-has-no-hard-reset.html
Here's the trick.
Reboot to fastboot by pressing POWER and VOLUME DOWN together until you get to the first boot screen. Select "Recovery Mode" by using the volume buttons to scroll and confirming with Power. It will reboot into recovery (the smaller Android with the open chest and Red "!") Now - here's the tricky bit - you have to press POWER and UP together ONCE to enable the recovery menu.
Then, you can select Factory Reset and you're good to go.
You don't need to be plugged in to a computer.

An unauthorised attempt has been made to reset your device to factory default sett...

Hi,
I just bought a Samsung Galaxy J5 phone.
Upon opening the phone, i get the 'welcome' & language selection page.
I then get a message: 'An unauthorised attempt has been made to reset your device to factory default settings. Connect to a Wi-Fi or mobile network to verify your identity.' as well as Wi-Fi connection page.
I can't get pass this thing, and since the phone is completly new (not bought with a specific provider/contract either), i don't really know how it could verify my identity anyway.
I would be very thankful if someone has any idea on this issue.
Thank you!

At first, bad phone forum (It's J5, not S5). But I will try to help you. I recommend wiping your phone cache and dalvik.
1. Turn off the device
2. Click at the same time Volume UP, Home and Power buttons.
3. It will show you bootloader (should show)
4. Find "wipe cache/data" option
5. Click it
6. Click "Yes" button
7. After it's done, reboot your phone.
8. If it doesn't work, I have another option, but time-consuming.
2nd Option:
First you need to have:
- Samsung Odin
- Your phone ROM (To find on sammobile, needs to be in MD5 format)
- Good USB Cable (xd)
*Additional: download TWRP Odin flashable file (to download from the official TWRP file), much more comfortable than original bootloader. Make sure you picked up version for your phone and it's at least version 3.0.0.0!
Now the steps:
1. Turn off the device
2. Click Volume- , Home and Power buttons at once
3. You will see a warning information, just click Vol+ button
4. You should see: Download mode, do not turn off the target. In the right upper corner you should see "Odin Mode"
5. Now open Odin.
6. Make sure in "Options" you have "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time" confirmed.
7. Now select PDA (maybe AP) and select your TWRP file.
8. When it ended loading the file, connect your phone.
9. You should see "Added!" in Log fold.
10. Now just click the "Start" button.
11. If it failed, remove battery from the phone for 5-10 minutes.
*Remove the cable too
12. Turn your phone into Download Mode again and start the flashing in Odin. (Check you have in "Log" "Added!")
13. If it failed, just try again after removing and adding the phone (worked for me)
14. When it's ended, you should see: All threads completed (succeed 1 / failed 0)
15. Now be happy of your working phone!

Solved:An unauthorised attempt has been made to reset your device to factory default
I have a samsung tab s3 and i to had the same problem. I had tried everything , changing the firmware of all available for the s3, factory resetting it, going into wifi advance setting changing the ip address. The DNS OF Xfinity the internet connection i use. To every so called solution on You Tube. To no success Untill I had an idea about not being able to sign on to Xfinity do to having to sign in after your connected to their network. So my AP couldnt connect to the internet ,could only connect to network. So i thought if i could connect directly to the internet AP will connect bringing you to the next page . SO what i did was go to a automatic connection like the one i used at Mcdonalds , Starbucks same thing. Any network that auto connects to the internet would do. Which will allow you to finish opening your tablet or phone. Everthing works fine on mine. As a matter of fact im using it as i write.
SOLUTION TO Unauthorized Factory Reset can't sign in wifi in
I had the same problem on my metro pcs J3 after soooooo much time trying to figure it out and even getting another phone , I went to a metro pcs/TMobile store and ALL IT TOOK WAS LOGGING IN TO THE WIFI THERE AND JUST LIKE THAT I COULD SET MY PHONE UP just try it you'll see

Forgot home screen lock pattern on ZTE ZMAX Pro

I forgot my home screen lock pattern. We used to have the option to get into our mobile phones via our Google account/Gmail in a bind like this. Now it only gives you 30 seconds before another attempt and that's it (?) I tried logging into Android Device Manager and it sends a code via SMS on my phone, but how can I see the SMS if I can't unlock my phone?! Is there any other way to get in? Perhaps with my Google account? Thx...

Hi.
Was reading your post.
Try rebooting in RECOVERY-Mode.
1-Turn phone off
2-Hold down: Power & Down Buttons
3-Press: Up, when Logo/Android shows
4- Scroll with: Pwr Up/Dwn to: RECOVERY
5-Select: Recovery, with the Pwr-Button
6-WAIT for phone to reboot into Recov-Mode;
then, click: "Wipe Cache Data". After that,
click: "Factory Reset" or similar wording.
Finally, reboot phone. You should now be
able to get into it without ANY locks!!!
Only downside is: this method WILL erase
all previous stuff. Hope you made a backup.
Let me know how you made out; and good
luck.

if its FRP locked, then you have to clear that FRP lock, if you using combination file then you have to have Z3x hardware box to clear it, or you have to flash the stock ROM again and then see YouTube videos to see if you can get lucky to clear that frp lock, under combination file you wont see oem, you have to be on stock Rom to see that. if you can't get that frp lock away, then either you have to buy a service which can clear that for you or just send that phone back to seller using eBay return policies, there is no other way around to it.
I managed to bypass frp on my verizon s7 G930VVRU8CRJ3. I will try and list the steps so you can test it for yourself
From the start screen hold vol up and vol down simultaneously to start talkback
Draw a L to open global context menu.
Select talkback settings
Long press vol up and down together to turn off talkback
Select text to speech setting
Select the gear next to preferred engine
Select install voice data
Select the download arrow next to any language
Select the grey oval that says tools under the title of whatever language you chose
(You may have to update the galaxy store)
Select the magnifying glass and search for "internet"
Download samsung internet browser then open by pressing the triangle that appears in the same spot the download button was
Type frptools.com
Click on the second link that says All Frp Bypass Apk Download - frptools.com
Download FRPTools_8.1.apk install and open
Click on open google login. It will say you need google account manager then automatically down load it. Install that then it will take you back in to the frptools apk.
Click open google login again
Click on the three dots in the top right and choose browser sign in
Input your google account and password
Download apex launcher from frp tools apk and install.
Pull down notification shade and select settings gear
Select general management setting
Select reset
Select factory data reset. You should see your email account on this screen
Select reset.
Once it reboots you should be able breeze through setup wizard with your credentials.
Good luck! Please let me know if this works for you
THANK YOU! I had to redo the procedure, because after doing the factory reset, it still wouldn't accept my email.
After logging into my account via web browser, I simply backed all the way out and went to the account verification screen, and it said my account was set up and ready.
Edit: Sent you ad-free. ?
Awesome! Glad it worked. Thanks for the ad free!!
Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
I am also running G930VVRU8CRJ3 on an SM-G930v however once talk back is enabled the L gesture does nothing. Is there some type of secret I am missing?
Edit: I did eventually make this work, I was activating talkbalk by placing 2 fingers on the display not using the volume keys. I also had no luck doing the factory reset after adding the account, but upon trying again I backed out and was good to go. THANKS!!

Up through here, these instructions worked perfectly.
From there, I ran into the FRPTools not being able to launch the Google login because the account manager wasn't installed, and kept getting parsing errors trying to install it using FRPTools.
You can download a working Google account manager from here (use the already installed Samsung Internet Browser):
http://rootjunkysdl.com/files/Apps/FRP/Android_6_Google_Account_Manager.apk
Once it's installed, try reinstalling FRPTools and proceeding with the browser sign in. If that doesn't work, try using this one:
http://rootjunkysdl.com/files/Apps/FRP/com.rootjunky.frpbypass-1.0.apk
Either FRPTools or FRPBypass should work on an S7. Mine was a fully updated Verizon model (I flashed it with G930VVRU4CRE5_8).
After logging in, just reboot the phone and you should be able to complete the factory setup.

After factory reset, stuck with voice typing!! please help!!!

After unlocking bootloader, I flashed raw Oreo rom. It worked but there is no default keyboard app installed only Google voice typing and I'm stuck on Google login page as I can't use voice typing for password.
The debugging is off after reset so can't install APK via adb.
PS:I'm not a pro just wanted to unlock bootloader to install custom ROM. So, please explain in simple language

Solved it. Below is the method for others:
1) Enable TalkBack (volume up+volume down - use shortcut)
2) Talk back settings (draw an arrow - swipe from top left to middle and then drag right)
3) swipe down to help and feedback
4) select: About Switch Access for Android
5) Open video in YouTube
6) go to Account in YouTube and then 'Terms & privacy policy'
7) download GBoard (or any keyboard) .apk from apk mirror and install.
Worked for me.
