Hi guys,
I bought a few months ago a lePro 3 X720 from Bangood (android 6.0.1 - eUI 5.9020S) and i haven't changed anything since (it was already in english).
I have 2 official heaphone sets with mic and the problème i will discribe is the same with both of them.
The headphone mic does work for instance i have no problem to record voice note in the phone or in apps (whatsapp etc..), use google now etc...
But when i try to make phone calls, or whatsapp call, skype, record a video etc.... the software use the phone mic and not the headphone mic.
I have download "SoundAbout" but with no succes. I have also download "Phone Doctor Plus" and here is what i have discoverded: the app doesn't reconise the headphone set when the CDLA mode is activated but on the other hand when i do the headphone and mic test it works properly.
Now if i disabled the CDLA mode Doctor Plus is able to detect the plugging and unplugging of the device but on the other hand neither the heaphone nor the mic work anymore... Same when it comes to listen to music, the heaphones don't work anymore if the CDLA mode is disabled.
Hope someone will be able to help me.
Same problem. Any solutions?
The original headsets have problems at mic/control area, mine stop working buttons. I suggest to buy cheap 3-4 $ cdla copies from ebay and they work fine.

Hi, I noticed that while I'm on my headphone (regular earphone without mic) listening to music,
the microphone is disabled, (the built in microphone on the bottom of the phone)
for example on iphone if regular earphone is plugged in, when calling someone or on incoming calls, the person can talk via builtin mic.
is there a way to activate the mic?
edit,
looks like known issue among all androids

This is a general appeal for ideas, but mostly directed at Havoc [Havoc-OS v2.8 2019-09-09] users - I need your help. I've searched high and low for a solution and at this point I need someone else using Havoc to confirm something for me. The issue is phone call audio routing when headphones or 3.5mm audio cable is plugged in. On my old S2 for many years when I was driving I'd connect an audio cable to the 3.5mm jack and it would send audio (music, audiobooks, podcasts etc) to my car stereo. Then if I made or received a phone call, the audio from the other party would also come through the car stereo and the phone mic would easily pick up my voice a metre or so away, just like it would on speakerphone mode for a regular call.
Now I have an issue with the Note 4 where all regular audio out, music etc, will go to the car stereo but for some reason it isn't routing phone call audio to the car stereo OR the phone's external speaker. They can hear me fine from the Note 4 mic but I hear nothing. In addition, the call recording reveals that their voice IS being recorded along with mine....but there's no way for me to hear them.
I have tested this at home as well with regular wired headphones (not the handsfree type designed for phones with a mic on the cable), just plain old headphones I use to listen to stuff at the PC. The same thing happens: music and other normal audio goes to headphones but I cannot hear any audio in a call.
This is weird and I can't figure it out. My old S2 did this effortlessly for many years through multiple different ROMs and still does it now running Nougat. In my searches I came across what appears to be a solution, one of the only apps of it's kind for many years called SoundAbout, but it crashes straight away on my phone, and I read the same complaint from several users on Oreo onwards. The app seems to have been abandoned by it's dev years ago.
I've looked everywhere in Havoc settings and I can't find anything obvious that addresses the issue so I'm turning it over to you smart people. Any ideas? Before you say something like "just use a bluetooth headset in the car" - No. I'm not looking to change anything, I just want this (very simple) thing to work as it has for years, since Gingerbread! Btw, I only discovered this today for the first time as I'd never tried it before so I have no idea if it would have worked on earlier versions of Havoc or any of the Oreo ROMs I ran.
Thanks guys.
TLDR - [Havoc-OS v2.8 2019-09-09] phone call audio not routing to car stereo via 3.5mm jack, all other audio goes out just fine.
Hi,
Controlling Music via Earphones is not working in my One Plus 6T.
Call receiving and rejecting is also not working.
I observed this issue after Android 10 update.
The Same headphones are working other phones. I tried with other earphones but the issue is same. Do we have fix or solution for this?

Hi,
I have a H96 Max android box, with Android 9.0, CPU : RK3318.
I'm having hard time using by Bluetooth headset, as the microphone does not work.
I have used Sony SBH80 and Sony WH1000XM3 headsets. Pairing works, audio output works, but the mic doesn't.
I have made a couple of tests, including some web audio testing pages in chrome, apps like Mic test from Play Store and also in google assistant. The most information I've got from the Mic test app, as it shows red and green status when a device is on. And in fact, when the recording using the BT headset should take place, the LED is green, but there is no sound being recorded.
I have tested both headsets with a OnePlus5 and on both the mic works normally.
I have also connected a USB mic to the H96 and it also works fine, sound is recorded.
So the problem I think is that the level of the sound input from the BT mic on the H96 is 0.
I have looked into /etc/mixer_paths.xml and also into /vendor/etc/audio_policy_configuration.xml but I don't see anything suspicious there.
Can anyone help?

Also, if anybody could recommend an Android TV box on which the Bluetooth headset works (both audio out and microphone) I would be very grateful. The requirements I have for the box are: Google Play Store works, it has an ETH connector. The rest is not so important. I want to use 6 boxes to make a constant WebRTC connection between them using Chrome. The users would use the BT headsets to pick them up and to communicate.
Thanks!
I have bought 3 more boxes:
T95 max+
T9
MX10+
on none of these devices the headset mode works properly.
The closest to working was the T95max+, it discovered properly the BT headset, but when in communication mode, the mic did not work either.
I have tested the headset with 3 other android phones, and there it works out of the box.
So I guess all 4 Android TV boxes I have tested fail to have the correct setting for BT headsets.
Anyone got this to work on a box?
Microphone not detected in t9 tv box
I am too experiencing the same problem, if anyone have a solution please share it thanks in advance
