If you just flashed 6.11.24 global in twrp and your phone is showing the MI logo then powering off then these are the steps you need to take to fix it.
1. Boot the phone into fast boot (Volume down + Power), all other modes will cause the phone to show mi logo and power off.
2. while in fast boot mode hook it up to your pc and run MiFlashUnlock and procceed following the instructions to unlock your phone, hopefully it will complete without issue.
3. click reboot and your phone should be back to normal now, and no data lost.
Something in the latest update caused the bootloader to be re-locked causing an instant brick, I hope this will help people who are just encountering this issue and will save them the headache of loosing all their data by flashing the fastboot firmware (which will also likely fail), and doing worse damage..
i fastboot / edl flashed it without problem
weird
Thanks........just thought i bricked my phone !
Works fine ! Back to normal my phone !! Thanks a mill !
INstalled superuser using twrp and now i have bootloop.......anyway to get my data back without missgin anything #?
for me is it now stucking at 50% showing unable to verify??
please help me I am stuck on boot logo after update
6.11.24 has the November security patch, right?
Have any one flashed xposed zip by solar warez (v86)on it ?
I think with Nov security patch and xposed zip v86 may cause bootloop.

The November 16th security patch causes a bootloop with Xposed 86. MIUI 6.11.24 has the November 1st security patch and works fine with the current Xposed by solar warez.
I have the same problem but the official unlock is not working.
Is there another way? Don't want to install everything again...

Sounds like a different issue then first post, but does the superuser program have an uninstall zip? , just boot to twrp Vol up + power to get back into twrp .

Afraid not, usually if the unlock tool is failing it has something to do with drivers or no permission.

I use sw xposed v86 and it works fine with the update, though I think any future updates will have newer security patches so hopefully he or someone eventually updates miui xposed to 87.
Google is throwing some multi-stage OTAs that do that, flash stuff on 3 or more stages on recovery. The first one was the full OTA to 7.1.1 Developer Preview 2, and the new one is the incremental OTA from 7.0 november security patch N5D91L to 7.1.1 NMF26F. Those OTAS are captured by normal methods and posted on the forum or on other sites.
I had problems when flashing the DP2 one since apparently you can't sideload those, the recovery does the first stage then sets stage 2/3, reboots and then shows "No command" with 2/3 balls painted, indicating stage 2 of 3, but you can't just continue the flow, adb sideload command crashes at that point and so starting the sideload again starts with stage 1/3 again.. and again.. it's a bucle.
So everyone be careful with these multi staged OTAs, they're sent to devices and installed in some special way, adb sideloading does not work and will get your device stuck on recovery.

Not for those with a locked bootloader that trusted that a sideload verified package would brick them!
Right now the situation is terrible, because the DP2 ota sets the time on 11nov and there is not any full OTA posterior to that (december otas are from 26oct and 1nov!!), and no incremental ota will flash over the mess due to fingerprint and modified boot on stage 1/3.
ADB sideload will soon be dead if all the otas start being multi-staged

Excuse me, I confused the LG Download Mode with fasboot. But the problem with using the Download mode to flash the TOT files is that the TOT files don't include partitions like vendor and bootloader, and not having an appropiate vendor patition causes even more issues, or you mean even another mode? I'm not well informed on the LG modes

Ye I think you mean the bitdomo tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/help/req-help-to-unbrick-t3251740
Maybe it would work, since the phone wouldn't boot anyway thanks to wrong vendor but if it flashes an old system, then you theorically could sideload a newer full OTA. Good idea! That may help people
However, the first step would be to be careful and not flash multi-staged OTAs.. and for Google to not derp like this and block multi-staged OTAs for adb sideload!!!!

it shud work, and download mode is a great security measure, ive been a lg owner for ther past 5 years and bricked a few devices and was able to recover em via jtag and download mode, vendor is the least of ur issues, dated vendors work but with minor glitches, u forsure would be able to boot system to oem unlock and the be able to unlock the bootloader

Thanks a lot for the help, but I managed to fix it without using the LG tool!!!!!
I discovered a thing:
- When it booted with "Device is corrupt" screen and the boot partition forced to boot always in recovery, the recovery was getting the getprop values (date from the build, fingerprint, device), from the BOOT partition.
- But when you boot recovery DIRECTLY from the bootloader, the recovery gets the getprops values from the SYSTEM PARTITION.
So in this case, since in the stage 1 on the multi stage ota it only affected the kernel, entering from bootloader I was able to flash just the same OTA I had before trying to had the multi stage OTA, since it compared the dates and stuff with the data in the system partition, aka the old data before the fail flash!!
OMG :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

The site you linked is official site for FULL OTAS, those are intended to be sideloaded so in theory you CAN sideload it
EDIT: Excuse me, I was wrong, you can flash it:
Your 7.0 build (N5D91L) time - Tue Nov 1 18:02:17 UTC 2016 (1478023337)
The 7.1.1 ota (NMF26F) time: Tue Nov 1 18:22:15 UTC 2016 (1478024535)
Thanks RusherDude. Is there another way to update to 7.1 then? I mean, do I need to relock my bootloader and do a factory reset, so I can use OTA update directly by my phone? Or maybe I can do it by using full factory images?

I have sloved by these steps:
New firmware downloaded
Put the upgrade.zip into SD
Going to TWRP/recovery mode and flashing it.
Then, re-install TWRP o your custom recovery by adb
its taking forever stuck in "reflash service bootloader" 2000 seconds and still counting
using ost 6.1.2 version to downgrade from oreo ofc to nougat
You need to flash sbl/aboot from Nougat and after that use OST LA 6.0.4.
You can get sbl/aboot by installing Dec OTA via SD card from recovery. It will fail, but you will get recovery, sbl, and aboot from Nougat. So you can use old OST tool.

You had to install Dec or Jan OTA update for TA-1000 through recovery in order to get Nougat sbl/aboot for TA-1000. I can find a link in a couple of hours, sorry not at the computer atm. Or you can find yourself in OTA Update DDLs thread. Someone posted it in comments.

Surely your way of success? Because I think if you can not flash fw with OST 6.0.4 then the phone will hang logo, because there is no fw 8.0 for Nokia 6 format nb0
He can always install Oreo from SD card if there is working recovery. Oreo OTA has no preconditions, but his goal is to revert to Nougat. OST 6.0.4 does not work with Oreo sbl/aboot, OST 6.1.2 does not work either without online authentication.
Hello, I have an issue with my nokia 6 ta-1033.
Currently, it's under android Pie, March security update, bootloaded unlocked and rooted with magisk (v19.1) and twrp-3.2.3-0-PLE in custom recovery.
I wanted to do the last update in April.
So I, restarted in download mode
Then, fastboot flash boot boot.img (rom stock android 9.0)
Fastboot reboot
I uninstalled magisk (maybe I shouldn't have)
I started the ota update
The phone restarts but the update is not done, and I arrive in the twrp recovery.
I restart and the phone boot normally but the update has not been done.
The strange thing is that twrp wasn't overwritten by the flash boot.img (rom stock android 9.0)
Do you have any idea where the problem might come from?
Thank you.
boot.img is different with recovery.img,
boot is kernel not recovery
I have proplem with fastboot, that doesn't work latest update. So I go twrp and flash old 8.1 boot image. Now I get fastboot back and then I use nost to get my nokia 6 back on working. After that I just do all the ota updates and I still get have working fastboot. Then just flash twrp and magisk and so on.. If you can, use Migrator to backup you app and data to SD so you can get all your data and files back when finish.

this is maybe you flash december 2017 update, then flash stock nougat and you booting in system.
so you can use OTA update again, but all data will be formatted
