No, about 5% per night is right. Some questions:
- When did this start?
- How long have you had the phone (battery issue?)
- Any data connections you leave on during the night?

i dont know when did start, because i always charger overnight.
i had this phone about 4 month ago. And i always turn off all connection(etc Wifi, Data, GPS,....)
and full charger in my phone full battery charger reported that the only use in 1 day and 6 hours.
is that ok?
1 day and 6 hours about 30 hours, and its mean about 3% drain per hour
3% per hour is too much without data connections. See my thread on battery life for normal %.
If the antenna signal is really weak in your area it might explain it, though. Also, microcells may cause drainage (also on another thread somewhere here).
Recommendations to improve battery life in the same thread, here.
Thank you, so i'll try to replace my battery. i dont know about my phone

I'm not saying you should but it's the main suspect, from what you're describing. You can swap batteries with a friend for a day, for example, to make sure.
Last questions:
- OS version? I'm assuming you have the latest, 8107.
- How old is the battery?

Battery is the most obvious thing in this case. Let us know how that goes.

Here are my recommendations to improve battery life
Generally (day and night):
- keep the brightness to low
- keep the ringer on vibrate when you can
- disable background apps
- don't keep applications opened in the background
- don't wait for the battery to discharge completely, charge as often as you can
Night:
- disable all data communications (GPRS etc/WiFi)
See if this helps.

I am not an expert but i think you can do this....
1. Clear your batter stat
2. Drain your phones battery completely
3. Recharge your phone to 100% while it is switched off. (this might take 2 hours i think)
4. Once it is completely recharged....then use any battery calibration application and calibrate it while it is 100% charged.
I hope this works, else you will need to find some battery fix for this problem
Thanks.
Maybe u hav a defective battery mate. Try another battery, see if u still got 80%.

well with 4 h in screen this seems pretty normal. i get a maximum of 3...
so since i updated my galaxy to to polnish version of 5.0.1 i feel like something is drinking up my battery, i dont have an enormous amount of applications. to describe how tragic is the situation is like if i touch it for some minutes writing some text in facebook mesenger i get a loss of 10% in 20 minutes, even if i dont touch at all my device after 8 hours for example it comes with a loss of 25% in battery. could it be a problem that i charge the phone with an 1000mah charger the problem (i dont have the original cable and charger)? i have already tried to reflash the rom with cleaning everything. i will try to post some real data screenshots from the battery app next days here...

Just don't care about how many mah the apps will tell you, the battery is charging anyway. I have a 3100 battery and battery monitor widget tell me 2100, but the phone stays longer than the 2600 battery, so I think that the battery is charging copletelly not only 2100 as the app tells me. Anyway you can change it in the setting of the widget if you want to.
hope it can help
after doing a clean install of the original lollipop rom i m getting back a lot of power. almost 5h on screen usage. Though i almost installed nothing on the handy and i disabled the most of the preinstalled applications. I m really discouraged about this, as it means that the problem is the android system itself... when i compare it with my company handy (iphone 5c) with the same applications and usage its like the half standby and 5c is far away from a up todate iphone ...
I hope we will get 5.1 as in a comparison on my nexus 7 from 5.0.1 to 5.1 it was like the double standby in hours.
I am having a problem battery
My brother, my s4, the battery is discharging very fast ,screen time is 3h , tell me a rom, the battery runs out slowly
can be any existing rom the world just want the battery to last
example
>reduce processor speed
>reduce screen quality
I use cyanogemod 13, with little battery life
I have a j5f model of 2015.. I rooted my phone. I tried a lot of roms and got back to stock one. But the battery is not calibrated properly.. it hangs on some good percentage and drops to nil. Then I have to charge it up to boot. Plz help me fix this issue.
Same as me! But the battery is on 100% then 1 minute it's already gone down to 2% even with bloatware/system apps removed
just buy a new battery, is not that expensive.
and try to not kill it with voLTE and 4G data always on and do not recharge more than 1 or 2 per day!!!

Try to reduce the wakelocks of Google Play Services. Take a look at following links:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guide-0-0-hour-idle-battery-drain-stock-t2973588
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...hare-myandroidtools-guide-to-disable-t2869119

Or try an Open Source replacement for Google Play Services called microG (you find it in my signature). It use about 5-10 MB ram and it doesn't drain battery
Thank you..

You sure its not just bad batteries? I didnt even try to buy a Samsung battery when I recently replaced mine... too many junk knockoffs/used/refurbs. I went with after market. Your issue sounds like a lot of the bad battery stories I read about though. I always charge a new battery with the phone off, and then run down to 1% or 2%. I never use fast charge either

i already bought new one yesterday . things are alright but still one issue : stop charging at 92% or 88%
Where are you getting your batteries, and how are you charging it when you get it? "New to you" batteries doesnt necessarily mean "brand new", and can still be junk
no it's original from Samsung store branch
you still havent told us how youre charging your new batteries
standard fast charger
Never mind, I give up. Im not going to beg for information. For someone who wants help, you sure dont want to be very specific with details that could help you. Im done trying to help you
