Hi, I would like to ask for your help I have a meizu m2 notes HARD-BRICK, all this has happened after unlocking the bootloader in Flyme 5 closed beta flashed with FlashFire (without preloader.img). After unlocking the bootloader on restart nothing just black screen, I tried to install the drivers and mtk preloader flash preloader with spftool (latest version), but nothing I get the same error "error Brom: s_brom_download_da_fail (2004)" and the uSB port Mediatek preloader vcom continues continually connect and disconnect. Yesterday when I updating my Asus zenfone max Z010D my phone hard brick. Nothing show, not indicating led, not charging, not going to bootloader.not going to recovery. The main thing is that I download ota updates zip from Asus website and flash from stock recovery. When I connect zenfone max to PC, in device manager show qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 driver. And when I google, then I known that I need service ROM which can flashed through Qfil tool.
So, can you give me service ROM so that I fixed this problem.
Please not this is not battery problem. Its os problem. Sorry for my bad English and thanks.

im not an expert but im using zenphone max sd615 model so i just try to install custom rom on my device i just switch off my device through twrp and its turn off for ever not turning on not charging no led indicates nothing

That is the offline charging bug caused by the hardware's reverse charging feature. No solution to date so be careful to not let the battery go below 20% without charging.
Reboot into Fastboot / CSC mode ( vol up + power) and plug the charger. Let it charge for 10-15 mins then reboot.

I was able to download the right files to flash with QFIL. Most people here say that their PC detected QUALCOMM HS-USB QDLOADER 9008 but mine detect it as QUALCOMM HS-USB DIAGNOSTICS 9006. Due to excitement, I flashed it anyway and it created some memory partition on my hard drive whenever I plug the phone but QFIL gave me an error of :
** Download Fail: Switch To EDL Fail Failed to switch to Emergency Download Mode
I tried to google this error, some encountered it and was able to get a resolution by just removing the battery before plugging it in but our zenfone is with non removable battery. I have no luck yet. Anyone got suggestions ?

Where do you get the right files? Could you post them?
Hi guys, I'm in really trouble.
I've got an Asus z010d and I think is hardbricked.
Screen is totally black, no vibrations, no recovery mode, nothing.
The only thing that I've done is to see it via QFIL like the image attached.
I've read some guides around the internet, for restore the device via QFIL with a stock rom, but I not able to get a single rom that has rawprogram0.xml and patch0.xml files that the program need...
I state that I am not a big expert.
Iif anyone knows how to help me, I can also pay him for the right assistance.

My phone's bootloader is damaged after flashing some .zip file.Now it's fully dead.
Not showing bootlogo,no recovery mode,no edl & no csc.It's just detecting as "QUALCOMM HS-USB QDLoader 9008 in PC.I downloaded QUALCOMM FLASH IMAGE LOADER(QFIL) but i can't find neccesary files for flashing(i.e., .mbn,rawprogram.xml,patch.xml suitable files for my phone's CPU).
Can anyone help me to unbrick my phone?

You can't flash Stock ROM with TWRP, you should try flashing other ROM.

Fix for dead ASUS Zenfone Max
Try holding down the power button and continuously press volume up (+) button. Hopefully this will take you to Downloader Mode.

An error occurred,
Download failed: Switch To Emergency Download mode failed...
Google it and found to remove battery before connecting usb for lenovo phone.

Its asus zenfone max msm 8916. I have a feeling that is there any differnce in using windows 7 and windows 10??

Sometimes the error is firehose failed then on nxt couple of tries it is SDL fail
!!!
Well some times administration matters , on my first try i got a firehose error
Then i granted administration and everything goes well , if u got any error google those errors, thats what i did cause finding fixes for asus max is tough in xda especially which is in this condition

My lenovo k4 note totally dead after after a few days installing RR 5.8.5 and Zero addition kernel,charging in the night and in the morning i find my device is dead can't boot ,no bootloader,no recovery ,not even vibrate,can' t connect to pc when i' m trying to use SP flash tool to recover it,can' detect by flash tool ,i was trying every preloader Driver i was found in xda or another site,

i think your mobile is bricked.... download sp flash tool and stock rom....load scatter file then click on download button then connect your phone with a data cable if flash tool do not recognise your phone then press volume up key...and flashing will start...hope this will work
I was trying to port a rom.. flashed it with something wrong in updater script and now
my asus zenfone max pro m1 is HARD BRICKED
tried all methods including the one on xda using QFIL but I get an error saying SAHARA FAILED...

Hi did you manage to fix your phone? Mine also hard bricked..
Looks like you have to repartition the internal chip, then flash each partition via adb.
Also try to check if it gives red indicator when plugged in.
