After updating to 8.0.0. I no longer have the opportunity to make unique sms tones for my contacts.
Is it a mistake ?
Or is there a way to solve it?

is there a way to customize the sms notification sound depending on the contact. E.g. contact a gets sms sound a and contact b gets sms sound b and so on.
Natively, you can only customize the ringtone of a contact, don't you?

Hi, Is thr any way to update Contact names in SMS too. When we change a name of the contact it doesnt change the name in the sms sent by him. Is thr some app. or tweak that can refresh all the sms with the changes made in the contacts.

I want to have diferent tone if i receive sms from my wife and other from my bank.
Ive tried add contact of my bank to my Contact list and defined ringtone, but of course it doesnt works.

Hey All,
Every time I get a new phone I have to re-assign the specific call and sms tones to my contacts and groups. Is there an easier way to just copy the contacts with their ringtones to the new phone and not having to go through my frequent contacts and assign ringtones to them one by one?
I have Samsung and use Smart Switch to restore the contacts to the new phone, but it doesn't re-assign their personalized tones.
