pls. is here any way to set unique sms tone for conctact.
I want to have diferent tone if i receive sms from my wife and other from my bank.
Ive tried add contact of my bank to my Contact list and defined ringtone, but of course it doesnt works.

is there a way to customize the sms notification sound depending on the contact. E.g. contact a gets sms sound a and contact b gets sms sound b and so on.
Natively, you can only customize the ringtone of a contact, don't you?

is it possible to assign a special ringtone to service messages.
Service messages i receive from my operator (o2) and from my FIRE DEPARTMENT. If i receive such a alarm-message i would like to have a louder and unique ringtone!
i know a program from mort called ringmort or so but with that program it's only possible to assign a ringtone to a contact. The Problem is that service messages do not have an sender!!

I am looking for a program that will enable me to create a different SMS notification sound depending on who the sender is.
The reason for this is that I have friends who also have TyTNs, but due to the fact that they receive several automated sms notifications from a server monitoring application each day, they almost never read my SMS in time.
So I decided that I want their phones to make a different sound whenever they receive a private SMS. Maybe you can assign some contacts to a group and then specify a SMS notification sound to that group?

Please suggest a simple ringtone and caller id management software where I can assign a ringtone to a group of contacts from my contact list.
I have few groups in my contact list . (Personal, work, vip etc ) I want to have a different ringtone for each group.
“Ringo mobile” was very good at this but this software if blocking the diamond "mute ring" button and its unusable. "Face down" for muting the call is not working also.
What do you use?

did anybody find a solution for this scenario?
I am highly interested in this one myself. Under no circumstances I want to change ringtones for 50+ contacts! Just once for "colleagues", once for "friends", once for "VIPs" etc.
