Note 4 won't boot any rom except Stock 5.1.1 - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I have Note 4 910F and literally only rom it boots is stock 5.1.1. It won't even boot stock 6.0.1 with updated bootloader and modem. When I install stock 6.0.1 rom all it does is works for 5 minutes at most and restarts and again 5 minutes of completely normal work and poof... And when I install any custom ROM like Ressurection Remix it again has those 5 mins but then the screen just goes black, it vibrates for a sec and nothing. It won't even boot again until i pull out the battery and put it in again. I have tried EVERYTHING. Every possible combination, every possible rom but no. That's it. It only works on Stock 5.1.1. and it won;t even root it properly... I do have latest TWRP recovery on it. Anyone knows what the problem may be?

I already have done that. Could you maybe provide me latest BL and CP if mine aren't?
P.S. I know it's been a few months since you replyed but I left it with stock for a few months because of some things I had to do with it.

[Q] Stuck up on custom rom.

Hi,
I'm using Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500. My original Stock OS was not working fine. Stucks up when I get a phone call and some times applications stuck up. I was irritated and I loaded a custom rom i.e. JellyBam 10.2.0 Even this Rom has some reboot problems. I tried to update to JellyBam 10.3.0 but after installation through CWM, my phone didn't boot. I've waited for 5 mins and then I rolled back to 10.2.0 I've also tried Omega Rom v10.0 but even that stuck up at boot logo (logo was still animating). So, I've waited for 5 mins and I've rolled back to JellyBam 10.2.0 I have found a link to go back to STOCK ROM i.e. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265477
but this requires my PDA and CSC number. Now I'm on JellyBam 10.2.0 custom rom. I'm unable to find out my PDA and CSC on this custom rom. Please let me know a procedure to find out these numbers or just let me know of a stable custom rom which works on my phone (preferably touchwiz or cyanogenmod).

you could try wicked rom tw [wipe data] not just factory reset

Stucks and reboots

For past few days I am getting my phone stuck for 2-3 seconds and auto reboots but it won't decrease battery percentage. . Model:- I9505, XXUGNH6, Android 4.4.2 help me to fix it!!
Did you try a factory reset?
Yes. I had done 3-4 times "hard reset"
TW based custom rom.
upgrade bootloader
Clean flash
Does it reboot with a fresh install of a stock rom? Is it random or does it happen when doing something in particular?
Are you using stock rom and kernel? Try to update it.
No, sir I am in stock! haven't tested any Rom yet!!

Phone wont boot with SIM(s) Inserted on Lollipop bootloader

Hey everyone, hope you are all having a great day.
I am facing an issue with my Redmi 2 Prime(2014818), everything was working fine.A few days back I was on official AICP rom which was super smooth and stable thanks to the devs ...after a couple of days, every time I reboot/turn on the Phone.the boot animation used to freeze for 2-3 seconds and the phone rebooted, but this time the phone rebooted smoothly without any hiccups.I thought this was an Issue with the bootloader or modems, however I ignored it and went ahead and flashed another ROM..but again the Rom got stuck on boot animation and reboot and this kept repeating, so I decided to re flash miui via fastboot in order to reflash all the partitions.later on installed TWRP and flashed latest AOSPE yesterday and again the same problem shows up(boot animation freezes in initial 5 seconds and reboot, and repeat...)
I've tried removing both the sim cards before turning it on and the phone boots up fine, but the problem is-I turn off and re insert ANY or BOTH of the sims, the rom goes into a bootloop again in the exact same way,and as we all know,we need to remove the battery before removing or inserting the sim card so I cant insert the sim with the phone turned on.
This is the only device I have and miui is awfully slow(eg-after minimizing whatsapp, launcher takes atleast 3 seconds to load the app drawer again!!),feels like a 4 year old samsung phone even after removing many system apps and i cant buy any other phone atleast till june end and my exams are coming.(been using this for 20 months now).
So, if anyone here could help me out I would really appreciate it People!!feel free to suggest me anything which might be of help with this.
P.S-I am on the lollipop bootloader and the fastboot file I flashed was Redmi 2 Prime Global Stable fastboot rom,the latest one.
feel free to ask me further questions regarding this

my device 1Gb version i tried lolipop bootloader for volte and faced same issue...but custom rom booted up with no problems...flash twrp and lineage os firmware then try custom roms..or if u want stock flash xiaomi.eu
1)xiaomi.EU ROM
2)Tesla
3)lineage
4)flash latest miui from xiaomi.EU and then flash custom ROM.
tried flashing xiaomi .eu latest stable rom,and then tried aicp.same problem, also tried official RR rom, phone boots with RR but reboots during setup wizard
i always have this problem whenever i flash a custom rom.. so, i flash miui 7 based on lollipop and then root it and then flash rr rom via twrp by just cleaning the cache and dalvik.. i did all this with the sim on.. and then it boots up fine.. well, just give it a try by flashing an miui 7 lollipop rom...
thanks for the suggestion, tried this but still wont work..even tried flashing bootloader and modem etc. same issue, tried other roms also...
really fed up of this, can it be possible that theres a problem with the SIM itself..as bootup is perfectly fine without any sims inside.
Issue fixed after swapping sims,Mods please close this Thread.

Galaxy s5 (g900v) wont start after safestrap prompts

i have been trying to install a good rom on my s5. i know that since i have an 11' toshiba chip, i cant do any major custom roms only stock touchwiz roms. i have 3 or 4 that i have found that actually work on my phone and when i tried a new rom today, it didn't work. so i flashed 4.4.2 again to start from scratch and i went back to my usual stock deodexed rom that is always a for sure rom that works. today when i flashed it, twrp (safestrap) prompts me to either boot normally or to continue. i have had this problem in the past, and whenever it shows that screen, it will never boot up, after the prompt it will just have a black screen for about 5 min. before booting stock recovery. if i boot it up again, safestrap will still prompt me if i want to boot recovery or continue and keep repeating this cycle. last time, it had resolved itself and didnt show up after wiping and reflashing my rom. this time it wont go away and my phone wont boot anything. thanks in advance

S6 Edge+ G928F dead? NEED HELP!

[My phone is already repaired by Samsung under warranty, my internal storage was broken so they replaced the motherboard. There is no need to reply to this thread anymore. Thanks anyway]
Hello everyone, I need help!!!!
Today my Samsung GS6 Edge+ died. (At least, that's what I think)
I own my G928F for 1,5 years now. I rooted it two weeks after that. Several weeks ago I flashed a new ROM called N-Lite Nougat v4.1 which has worked smoothly and without any problems since I've flashed it.
However, today, the 26th of June, my phone turned off all of a sudden while scrolling through Facebook. I haven't flashed, installed nor done, anything that would affect my phone in such a way that it would crash this way. I tried force rebooting with the 3 buttons pressed (Home, Vol+, On/Off) several times. My phone just boots into the ROM and then freezes instantly. Again tried force rebooting for like 5 times, NO luck. Then I tried booting into recovery mode (TWRP 3.1.0.0), cleared Dalvik and cache, factory reset, rebooted, still no luck. Tried several other custom ROM's, still NO luck. Also tried flashing stock Samsung Firmware using ODIN, no luck whatsoever.
I couldn't find any similar problems in the ROM thread, nor anywhere else on the internet. Besides that, I'm starting to think this problem is a defect to the hardware, not the software.
Does anyone know what would be the best thing to do in my situation? Or perhaps anyone who might know what the problem might be and have a possible solution?
Thanks in Advance.
Recovery mode (TWRP 3.1.0.0) is accessible though, but that's all. While trying to install another ROM it just reboots randomly, during flashing progress.
When you say you tried flashing stock rom with ODIN, does it fail or does it succeed but freezes up when you are back in android OS?

It succeeds. But when it's done it just keeps going in a bootloop. It doesn't even boot into Android now. I've used the right settings in Odin. Even tried several different versions of Odin. No success

Out of curiosity, when you flashed the stock Rom was it 6.0.1 or 7.0?
Does it just get stuck on the S6 EDGE + screen for a while? If so you might be to impatient as first boot on almost all roms both custom or stock take a while to boot up. If it shows the Samsung splash screen over and over then yes it's bootlooping.
I can't think of any other reason for it bootlooping, especially if you have flashed a stock Rom, unless maybe you flashed 7.0 rom and still have a 6.0.1 bootloader. But I think that just causes loss of baseband, not a bootloop.
I would suggest another kernel, but that is normally included in the stock rom.
Do you download them from sammobile or another site? If it's another site, is it a reliable site?

It was Android 7.0. I downloaded it from Sammobile. I've waited 40 minutes for it to boot up after successful Odin flash. But it just kept doing the same thing. The bootloader that was installed was a 7.0 bootloader. First i get the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + screen then the Samsung boot animation and it repeats for hours untill battery runs out haha

The last thing I can think of was did you get the right rom for your phone? 928F or 928T etc.
Other than that it might be a trip to the repair centre I'm afraid.

Try to do a factory reset in the stock recovery. It might help.
