Hey everyone, hope you are all having a great day.
I am facing an issue with my Redmi 2 Prime(2014818), everything was working fine.A few days back I was on official AICP rom which was super smooth and stable thanks to the devs ...after a couple of days, every time I reboot/turn on the Phone.the boot animation used to freeze for 2-3 seconds and the phone rebooted, but this time the phone rebooted smoothly without any hiccups.I thought this was an Issue with the bootloader or modems, however I ignored it and went ahead and flashed another ROM..but again the Rom got stuck on boot animation and reboot and this kept repeating, so I decided to re flash miui via fastboot in order to reflash all the partitions.later on installed TWRP and flashed latest AOSPE yesterday and again the same problem shows up(boot animation freezes in initial 5 seconds and reboot, and repeat...)
I've tried removing both the sim cards before turning it on and the phone boots up fine, but the problem is-I turn off and re insert ANY or BOTH of the sims, the rom goes into a bootloop again in the exact same way,and as we all know,we need to remove the battery before removing or inserting the sim card so I cant insert the sim with the phone turned on.
This is the only device I have and miui is awfully slow(eg-after minimizing whatsapp, launcher takes atleast 3 seconds to load the app drawer again!!),feels like a 4 year old samsung phone even after removing many system apps and i cant buy any other phone atleast till june end and my exams are coming.(been using this for 20 months now).
So, if anyone here could help me out I would really appreciate it People!!feel free to suggest me anything which might be of help with this.
P.S-I am on the lollipop bootloader and the fastboot file I flashed was Redmi 2 Prime Global Stable fastboot rom,the latest one.
feel free to ask me further questions regarding this

my device 1Gb version i tried lolipop bootloader for volte and faced same issue...but custom rom booted up with no problems...flash twrp and lineage os firmware then try custom roms..or if u want stock flash xiaomi.eu
1)xiaomi.EU ROM
2)Tesla
3)lineage
4)flash latest miui from xiaomi.EU and then flash custom ROM.
tried flashing xiaomi .eu latest stable rom,and then tried aicp.same problem, also tried official RR rom, phone boots with RR but reboots during setup wizard
i always have this problem whenever i flash a custom rom.. so, i flash miui 7 based on lollipop and then root it and then flash rr rom via twrp by just cleaning the cache and dalvik.. i did all this with the sim on.. and then it boots up fine.. well, just give it a try by flashing an miui 7 lollipop rom...
thanks for the suggestion, tried this but still wont work..even tried flashing bootloader and modem etc. same issue, tried other roms also...
really fed up of this, can it be possible that theres a problem with the SIM itself..as bootup is perfectly fine without any sims inside.
Issue fixed after swapping sims,Mods please close this Thread.

Hello, Newbie Here!
So I recently flashed the Resurrection Remix ROM Build 6.8 and Kernel 6.2.
The Build is rather stable and In my honest opinion better than CM12.1 which I was on previously.
So the normal functions of the phone are normal and I feel this is a much stable build. I use a ASUS Zenfone 5(ASUS_T00F)
But I face random reboots where the phone restarts itself and gets stuck at the boot. Only when i try to force reboot from the bootloop screen does the phone restart normally and even that takes three or four attempts. First I thought it was just getting used to the new Kernel then when this started occurring frequently I became more aware that this might just be a potential risk.
Today afternoon, My Phone was literally stuck at bootloop for 2 hours.... Only when I tried to do three-four manual forced reboots by pressing my power key and with each instance entering the TWRP mode and doing a dalvik and cache wipe only then was I able to boot up my phone normally.....It totally drained the battery though. I was at 78% and when my phone finally booted up I was shocked to see just 1% charge left.
Everytime this issue occurs...either the phone is completly stuck in bootloop or goes to the "Android is upgraing your apps" notification and then again comes back to the bootloop.
I have also done two fresh flashes before this as well so I know its got nothing to do with a dirty flash.
I then started googling for the same issue that other Zenfone 5 users might be experiencing but to my shock...No threads on it could be found with the issue that Im experiencing.
Pretty frustrated right now I have no clue what to do.
Donot want to go back to STOCK ROM..It sucks.
Please help Guys!
Hello.
You should try to format system and reinstall the rom + xposed. After that you can format data, cache, internal storage. I hope that it will help you.
And did you have this problem on CM12.1?

Download latest firmware from Asus' Support Page. And flash it via adb sideload.
I m now on Stock Rom without any problems no screen freeze no bootloops ...
. For the past few days my phone has been crashing and turning off randomly, when the phone is off the charger. The screen just goes black and Shuts down. When I try to reboot the phone it will get upto the boot animation and then freeze and shutdown again. I have to connect my phone to a charger and then reboot, only then does it fully boot up. My battery is 100% btw.
What I have done so far is:
1) flashed the latest build of exodus
2) cleared dalvik and cache
3) flashed an earlier build (25/07) without flashing XPOSED and SUPERSU. However problem still present.
Can someone help please and tell me what other steps I can take. My phones important to me at the moment as I'm away in Turkey for an internship. It's a really strange problem I can't figure out what to do. Thanks alot
Did you try to go bacm for stock oneplus OS? Try to do a full recovery via the tool it will wipe root twrp back to stock. It may help.
Does it happens with other roms?
hi, i solved the problem by flashing stock oxygen. i tried flashing oxyslim and cyanogen however both of them still had the same problem. Anybody have a idea of why this might have happened? it was completely random, and if it was the kernel then it would have been solved when i flashed the other roms...strange

It could be that te ROMs u DL were corrupted. This happens, thats why is always good yo verify HASH from your dl ROM and HASH from the developers topic
So you haven't read up on the official CM13 thread about the latest unstable builds?
Hi,
My phone just stopped working without any physical or water damage. It got stuck on the logo. I flashed stock rom using SP flash and it started working fine. But after 2 days, it again got into boot loop. I starts like this
step1 - phone will get slow
step2 - apps will stop working
step3 - phone stops detecting simcard
step4 - phone will restart and will get into boot loop
So I rooted it and installed custom roms , but problem is still there. It stops working after 2 days. I have tried 5-6 custom roms available on forum e.g RR, lineage, AOSP, xenon HD. I even tried with older stock roms like S219 and sS57 without any luck.
What can be the possible reason? I'm not even installing any heavy app. can it be a memory leak issue? not expert here.. just guessing.
Have you use SP flash tool??
Use SP flash tool to get back in stock stage(stock recovery, stock boot, stock everything)

I have already tried that multiple times with all version of stock roms .. from s147 to s232. It just stops working after 1-2 days.
It automatically goes into boot loop. Is it possible that some sectors of internal memory are corrupt so whenever system tries to access it , it goes into boot loop? I'm saying this because this used to happen with my laptop.
Hello Guys,
Recently i forced my Mi A1 to install official Pie Stable update by using VPN Method (Which Worked Fine). After Success full install of Pie Rom my Phone went in boot-loop.
Here are the details ->
1 - Mi A1 was rooted w/ Magisk. So I unrooted my phone, worked fine after removing magisk.
2 - After unrooting, Phone was working smooth no issues there.
3 - Locked boot-loader, after restart it was still working like earlier.
4 - Used VPN to connect to Netherlands Server, Cleared data from google framework & got the update.
5 - Took 8-10 mins. to get it flashed
6 - After restart Phone went straight to Boot-loop. I waited almost 40-45 mins. then forced shut down.
7 - Again restarted it but phone was again in boot-loop. So i booted my phone in recovery (stock). Cleared all data / cache. After restart the boot-loop was still there.
8 - i checked here at XDA if anyone else was facing any problem, i guess this one was unique.
9 - i then downloaded the official 8.1 stock ROM from miui website & clean installed using Mi Flash tool Successfully.
10 - After restart, my phone was continuously restarting. All I can see on screen was mi logo & android one logo. After that phone restarts itself.
11 - Again I checked if I missed any step from instruction provided by Developers, all of them were followed as described.
12 - After that I thought it must be Xiaomi's Anti-rollback feature that must be not letting my phone run Oreo. So I checked if that’s the issue, but anti returned null value. Which means it was not enabled on my device.
13 - So I looked for Mi A1 Stock Pie fast-boot Rom, Luckily I got beta Rom & so I flashed that. Which worked.
14 – Now the issue is, why I cannot go back to 8.1 & install that official stable pie? What should be my next step? What should I do to get stable build? Or is it possible that I could get stable pie TWRP rom?
Any help is appreciated.
Please guide me to get pass this issue.
Thank you for your time.
How did you installed fastboot rom without unlocking bootloader? Im facing same issue.
Try this
Hey try this, it might work for you:
1. Downgrade to Nougat by flashing it on EDL mode on MiFlash
2. Surely it won't boot so hotboot TWRP and restore the Boot, Modem and EFS Backup that someone uploaded some days ago (search on Questions & Answers or Guides)
3. Flash Nougat on EDL again
4. You'll notice that your IMEI will be 0 or not your phone's IMEI
5 To fix that, install TWRP Installer, reboot to recovery and install Latest Magisk
6. (Search on Youtube) Restore IMEI using DualWriteIMEI
7. Reboot
8. Flash latest Oreo Stock Build by normal Fastboot mode (not EDL)
9. That's all! You should be able to flash anything else that you want!
ADVERTISE: I have the Dual SIM variant, that because i've used DualWriteIMEI, idk if works too with Single SIM one, maybe it does.
Hope that it works for you, greetings!

If you wish to downgrade....i think it is the only way for now.... This is not my creation i just followed the method...worked perfectly... If you don't want to modify system then stay in pie update bro..
I think using Netherlands vpn is bad as this...because installing other regions will mess up something within our mobile...we don't realised it yet

maybe thats because we forced our phone to flash pie beta, it's modem may not support our LTE bands for VOLTE service.
we will have to wait for stable release, after that we will be able to flash that modem & use volte service.

Hey!
So I got the 9.0 pie on my Xiaomi MiA1 and I decided to test it and I was pretty disappointed, so I decided to try to revert back to 8.1 oreo. I unlocked the phone, fastbooted twrp, wiped the data and tried using miflash to install the rom and also tried flashing it through twrp. I have been having this problem for 2 days now, i successfully install the OS but then I get stuck in a boot loop and now I can't even get past the android one logo and it keeps loading there. I didn't do a backup, I regret that. I can't remember how many times I already try flashing different roms but nothing really seems to work, in fact seems like it's getting worse since before it would actually boot until it asked me to put my SIM card PIN but then it would reboot constantly, but as I said before now it wont get past android one screen. Also maybe its worth mentioning that i try using lazyflasher already a few times and that there was a time that it actually worked but it got automatically updated to 9.0 pie again so back to the start and, as i thought that i knew what i was doing, i just tried redoing what i did before to install 8.1 again and disable automatic updates before connecting to the internet. I can go to fastboot mode and I can use twrp doesn't seem like I have a problem there, any help is appreciated!
maybe just can let 9.0 install , looks like is the only way that u have for a dayle phone
