hey guys im wondering if someone have made a custom rom for this device. Asus released the kernel source, and someone figured it out to unlock the bootloader, now it can be rooted, and also has twrp support. Im bored with ugliness of ui and also the lagginess of the phones I tried porting one, still haven't finished it yet. Don't know if it's going to work thanks again for the answers!.

Hi All,
First of all what a great forum this is you can never be bored if you spend your time here great job to everyone...
I have been palying arounf with my Asus TF101 installing different ROMs and such I found Codenamed best one to my liking however it doesn't have stock Asus Apps... when i tried to back them up from the official rom and re-install them into the custom ROM install always fail???
Can somebody please explain why and how i can run the custom ROM i like with the Stock Apps..
Thanks in advance
If it's an AOSP ROM, most Asus app will not work.
A few will work but not all
Hi Guys,
maybe this was asked before but I will ask especially for Samsung. So how does it work to develope a Custom Rom, based on a Stock Firmware?
I have a Galaxy S4-GT9515 and since there is no Custom Rom, I am thinking about playing around with it now. There are so many issues (Battery Drain,...), this ******* bloatware and i am using my Moto G now.
I develope little apps for Android, but i am not an expert. Rooting, Flashing Customs Roms and so on, using ADB is nothing new for me.
Do you guys have some basic tutorials for me? And where can I get Samsungs Stock firmwares? And what is about the Kernel? How to modify?

Hi All,
I keep reading that g900h (exynos variant) does not get a custom/AOSP ROM (not considering the deodexed ones here) because samsung has not released the code for it yet. But I found out at the below link that the code for KK was released a few months ago -
http://opensource.samsung.com/reception/receptionSub.do?method=sub&sub=F&searchValue=g900h
Because I do not see any comments/posts/threads/discussions happening on this, I wonder whether this released code is not enough for a custom rom development or developers are not interested about it.
Let me know what is it, so I can bury my hopes of a custom rom forever or wait for the sunshine.
Hi guys! I'm searching android 6.1 ROM for my Galaxy Core Prime [SM-G361F]. You know where I can find it?
Thanks.
Nope. At the moment, there's no Marshmallow ROM (custom or official) for G361F.
Yeah we have to wait.
Did someone start to make them already?
This would be great, Marshmallow looks better than the cancerous (my opinion) Lollipop firmware, but I think that actually no developer want to really work on this model. Bringing root and a recovery was the minimum, then to go further you can install XPosed for custom builds but creating custom or adapting stock ROMs? Nah.

I was just gifted a new Zenpad P024 and I was hoping to install the latest Android ROM on it so I get hopefully get a speed boot but also to get the most recent OS
Can anyone point me in the right direction with the best ROM to install on this device ?
Well lucky you, cant remember the last time I got a gift related to “tech”
By installing a new ROM you mean custom or stock?

so the first ROM at is listed is the "LineageOS 14.1 " but the provided URL to download the ROM has no relevant information about where to get the ROM, am I missing something ?
https://lineageos.disavowed.jp/p024/
seems like all the ROMs for this tablet are dead
Thats unfortunate.Sorry that I couldn't find one…
